Please excuse my ignorance, as I'm new to this site, but are there any benefits to having an excess of karma? If not, then why complain about achieving some. While this video was posted before, I was not here 3 months ago. I've only seen the video just now and I can see how it might be relevant enough to post. I think one problem to the men's rights movement is that feminist tend to ignore it and sweep any information that they don't like under the rug. This video is an example of how feminist d…

That's an interesting explanation, and I've never thought about it that way. Do you have any recommended books at all?

That's exactly what upset me. The classes I've taken always suggested that feminism promotes equality for all genders, not just women, so I've always appreciative of feminism. When I stumbled upon the hive mind views of feminist on skepchicks blog and others, I was flabbergasted. And even more so watching someone being attacked for offering a different view. I was in the second group myself, and I'm still becoming aware. It seems like skepchick is trying to piggy back off other movements to prom…

You're right about not all feminist being like that. Though the sites that I did visit did give off that vibe, I was still making generalizations, which I normally don't like doing. With that said, I still need better perspective from both sides before I go off on a biased rant again due to being infuriated with what I read. Thanks for the input.

Exactly. I have noticed how they respect their own opinions, but oppose any others, even if they're similar views with a different outlook. I think when men run into a woman or man who is displeasing, they just think "wow he's/she's an asshole." But when a feminist run into a displeasing man they think "You're a sexist, oppressive misogynist!!" I'm not sure how they react towards a women who upset them, but if it's on the internet I'm sure they just assume it's a man rather than a woman. They ca…

Sadly, I've only now started looking at the victimization of men. I don't know how I've been blinded for so long, and I was on-board with feminism for the longest time until I now realized how ubiquitously radical their hate toward men is. I'm not crying woe is me, but I think it's time to look at gender equality from both perspectives, not just feminist women. I agree that we're not socialized to notice men suffering and dying, and I'm starting to notice. Does anyone have any recommendations fo…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
