Ehhh it could go either way. Sounded like she was apologizing a lot from ur post and she was the one who offered to reschedule. Maybe next time say you’re busy so you don’t seem like a “yes” man if you think you’re always giving into her.

Nothing wrong with focusing on yourself for a bit. Take it easy!

Maybe try being more flirty on dates and also take a bit more initiative to either make plans or make the next move to keep the vibes going. It sounds like ur super chill and want to go with the flow, but girls sometimes want that dominant shit. It’ll help with showing your confidence and let’s you lead.

If you can’t imagine yourself having a relationship through the phone and computer, then it’s over. I’ve had a friend who had his gf go to Japan for school and he’d be up at 3-4AM just to voice chat her. It’s a different dynamic with no physical contact at all. Best to end it before you or her get more attached. Like others mentioned, you’ll never know if she will find a job in that country after school. Also, I think it’s nearly impossible to trust her out there considering your relationship is…

I’m also a business student who has been working for 3 years now. I get anxious for these kind of events too especially when I need to speak for them. What are the expectations of you when you’re at the events? Do students come up to you and ask questions about the job and your experience? If so, you should know how to answer them easily. It’ll come with practice and repetition and acknowledging that you’re nervous and try your best to control that emotion. Breathing techniques and focusing on t…

Join student organizations. Strike up conversation with others at events on campus. Just get out there and talk with people. Not everyone has a friend group in college so they’ll enjoy talking with others if they’re open to that. Lastly, it’s only your first year. You’ll have time to make friends. Don’t stress too much. Enjoy your time in college. Good luck!

Option 4. You already lost the battle when you admit you are jealous of the coworker. Shows you’re insecure about it and plus it’s her work. Ya she might or might not cheat, but if she does you’ll have to be ready to walk away instead of trying to control her out of jealousy.

That’s fair man. I don’t know the details in how ownership works for a house in your area with 2 people. I’m sure it’ll work out if y’all talk through every detail and future scenarios. Just make sure you’re not getting the short end of the stick and that there’s legal documents stating that you own 50% of the house. GL!

Nah. It’s too much commitment and has a lot of room for errors. What if one of ya has a long term girlfriend or start a family? Will you both be comfortable living together under the same roof? The idea seems fine if you’re young, but isn’t realistic long term. One way to make it work is to have 1 person actually own the place, but the other pays rent to help out with the mortgage.

I’d say maintain that non-jealousy and DGAF attitude. When you’re with your GF, give her your attention and spend quality time with her. If your GF is truly loyal to you, she won’t put herself in situations that will jeopardize your relationship. For example, if she randomly hits up guys or puts herself in vulnerable situations in social events such as drinking too much, that’s gonna be a pass for me. If it’s another guy and they’re actually students in a class together and they happen to be ass…

My skin type is oily and acne prone. Here’s my morning and night time routine. AM Cleanser: Cerave foaming facial cleanser Serum: The Ordinary niacinamide and zinc Moisturizer: COSRX hydrium gel cream Sunscreen: Biore sunscreen milk PM is the same stuff except no sunscreen and every other day, I’d use a chemical exfoliant after cleansing - COSRX BHA liquid. I’d avoid any products that’s marketed toward men. Avoid unnecessary fragrances cus that’ll irritate your skin. At the bare minimum, a good …

A good 5+ years ago, I was hooked to video games. Video games were all I knew and it’s how I entertained myself and connected with friends. I remember being unmotivated with life and my own personal goals because all I wanted to do was play games with friends. Being a young teenager, it made sense because my family was there to support me financially and cooked for me since I lived at home. I also recall being very toxic and being a boring person - mainly due to not having many life experiences …

He def needs to cut that gaming addiction first. I remember being in that mindset and it blinded me from the real world and self improvement stuff. Maybe take him to the gym and work out with him? See what his interests are and help him research some schools to apply for and when to apply by. At the end of the day, it’s his life. You can lead a horse to water but can’t force it to drink. Good luck man.

Focus on putting in hella work in to your day to day life whether it be excelling in school or at your current job. Sounds like you already have high goals for yourself, which is great. Just remind yourself that the grind you’re doing now, whether it may seem significant to you now or not, will be a big factor to the grand achievements and career goals you’re striving toward. Example - you may take a job outta college and it doesn’t fit your expectations or it may seem like a “weak” goal in your…

Get cheated on and then you’ll realize that women aren’t all that. My mindset shifted once I began focusing on myself first. Be comfortable and happy with who you are and that way you’ll be more confident and not crave validation from others.

Nah bro, don’t give her any details and don’t put in any effort into explaining how you felt and your reasoning IMO. If you feel the need to respond, keep it short and simple like others have mentioned. After my first break up, I literally typed out a long message explaining my feelings and looking back, I looked dumb. Focus on yourself and good things will come to you. Don’t need that negative energy. Good luck!

I think you should first decide if you like supply chain or finance more. Each have their own unique skill set and different job prospects after college. Since you already have the supply chain experience, do you see yourself doing this long term? If you stick with a company that has room to grow, a six figure salary seems achievable in 5 years. Also, my recommendation is to have at least a year of experience working before enrolling in a MBA program. On the other hand, I do think finance would …

When applying to colleges I was thinking hard about what career choice I wanted to pursue but it was a difficult question for me to answer at the time as a teenager who had little to no experience in the real world. After reviewing my own interests, my skills, and weighing the advantages and disadvantages of college majors in terms of job prospects/salary/job security, I ultimately landed with something in the business/technology field. I admit I don’t love my job 100% but I’m happy with what I …

Depends on what your interests are. It’s good that you have eyes on your long term goals. Do you specifically like one more than the others? At my school, all those majors fall within the business college so they have the same core classes but later branch out into classes specific to each major. In my opinion, the most challenging I would say is finance/banking. Accounting is more mundane and number crunching (look up busy season). IT is a lot more broad...the more technical knowledge and exper…

Accutane is def the last resort you want to take in my opinion. If you don’t have a skin care routine already, try that first to see if that improves your skin or not. As others mentioned, check out the skincareaddiction subreddit. The general outline for a routine is cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen (AM only). As you do more research, you can add more serums and look into exfoliators that’ll help your skin out further.

That’s normal for sure. Take some time to focus on yourself and to get your emotions in check again. Don’t try to jump back in too soon in my opinion. Good luck.

Life is bigger than some rules set at work. Going thru the convo may be rough but you’ll look back in hindsight like it wasn’t a big deal. Best of all, you’ll learn from it. Good luck!

I don’t see it mentioned here yet but work on having a clean diet! You can go to the gym all week but if you’re eating trash food, your gains won’t be fully realized.

I’m using plant based protein now. Got mine from Costco. Tastes less smooth and grainy as compared to whey but ehhh. I’m trying to make up for it by eating more food.

Necessary first step is to block all forms of communication with her and let your friends know that you don’t want to know if they’ve seen her around. Stop being fed breadcrumbs so your mind isn’t wondering what she’s up to. Shit like this happened to me 2-3 years ago and I definitely recall the pain I was in. Fast forward to now, with me as a better person and lots of time to heal, it doesn’t bug me as much as it did in the past. I still get “mad” since we did have lots of mutual friends but I …

I don’t track anymore because I never got into a routine with it. If you have a food scale, I think it would be helpful to weigh out the stuff you eat often so you have a visual of the volume that fits your macros for the meal. Then after a while, you can just eye ball things.

My dad passed away when I was 19. From that experience, I learned that it’s best to document as much as you can with your parents. New experiences, funny moments, goofy pictures, happy pictures, anything that reminds you positively of them. Take pictures with them and of them. Great if you can get a video too. Also, take time to talk with your parents and bond with them more. In the end, death is inevitable. My only regret was not being able to document memories and talking more with my dad.

I’ve tried taking BCAAs but didn’t find any real benefit in it. The food you eat on a daily basis contains BCAAs (protein sources) so I think it’s a waste of money to buy that supplement. If you’re not feeling energized, I don’t think taking creatine would help specifically for that. Try focusing more on your overall diet; eat more vegetables and fruits on top of the protein sources.
