The world moves at such a rapid pace now. I'm only 18, and I can remember a time when online dating was taboo and considered an embarrassing thing. The majority of people my age don't have Tinder or any type of online dating. Social circle is all until after uni/college.

This is where TRP gets overly cynical. Judging by the fact that the guy sliced the 'white knight's' neck with a boxcutter, she probably had good reason to be scared and to move in with him. Sad story. I'm not saying the woman is an angel who was going to reward the 'beta' for looking after her, but he did the right thing in giving her some safety from a clearly very violent man.

No white knighting, but the protesters were hitting and pepper-spraying female Trump supporters who were just standing around talking to each other. Makes my blood boil. Completely agree. I saw on another recent thread someone posting about how the 16-25 year old portion of TRP were probably obsessed with social media- I'm 18 and I dislike social media, but what I hate even more is the fucking smartphone reflex people have. The minute they aren't doing something in their comfort zone, they go straight for their smartphone. Headphones in, eyes down, I'm sure you all recognise it.

Yeah, I just came back to this post and thought this comment should be near the top. OP, at least you are aware that on the current track, your life is boring and empty. Most people are VERY content with living a life of mediocrity and living in the way you described yourself as living. People even celebrate their dull existence. There are memes about how it's cool or funny to tell your friends who have asked to meet up that you're ill so you can stay in bed watching Netflix or whatever.

I'd lean more towards trying to develop a side income (online business?) than a second job, as that will make you very fatigued. The second thing that sprung out to me was that you have no hobbies of any substance.
