Literally! I have been to a few men’s groups and they have always said it happens to women too but have not heard the same from women’s groups. This author is projecting

I too Am Catholic. I feel you brother. I find it funny that some of us can be so prideful and forget that we’re all sinners acting like they don’t stink as well. And I’m sorry you were in prison. I pray whatever it was is behind you now. But take it for what it is, it’s Reddit. Reddit seems to bring out the worst in all of use.

Same thing in Israel. Women who sexually assault men can not be charged because by law there it’s only something men can do to women. They tried to change the laws but women protested saying men would weaponize it in courts.

Exactly! This is literally projection. I’ve been apart of organization that were created to support men and men’s mental health. We did conferences and it was always these type of people who would come in to disrupt it, then say why aren’t you doing anything for men?

That’s absurd. I’ve never used any sort of drug that wasn’t prescribed by a doctor. I don’t drink and I’ve never smoked. It wasn’t until recently when I started getting migraines that started using ibuprofen. I’ve never had any sort of interest in using any sort of controlled substance. Your teacher sounds like a buffoon honestly.

I can control my thoughts and feelings generally. Also because of my condition I don’t process thoughts and feelings like most people. So ultimately it’s not really the issue. And yes you’re right therapy is not life coaching but they’re there to help you help yourself. And yes it should help get to the root cause. But the cause are not my problems and I’m not responsible for fixing what others do. All that being said I don’t find being ask the same question over and over every session for I don…

Kinda presumptive to say they’re triggering. But imagine if I asked you those questions every time you said something. Would be annoying, right? I’m looking to fix my problems not figuring out what I feel.

Not answering your question directly but I went to therapy for years. I find it a waste of time. Being asked about “what my thoughts are” or “what my feelings are” doesn’t help me. I can’t sit in a room and be asked those questions anymore. I just don’t operate like that. I found it infinitely more helpful reading the bible then I do from therapy.

In regard to what he did or she did? He may have done nothing wrong (no criminal intent) but in the eyes of a jury a 16 y/o “victim” is quite convincing. This literally happened to a work friend. Some colleagues and I went to a bar for a work social one night. Some girls came in a short time after and one of them and he started talking at the bar. She had to show ID to get in and again to buy drinks so us and he assumed she was of age. Apparently they went home together and a few weeks later the cops showed up to our workplace and arrested him. Told us it was statutory SA. She had used a fake id to get into the bar and buy drinks. Friend, you’re misinterpreting my point. Im saying if some random woman tell police that her ex had made threats and was stalking her, then showed the police fake made up texts and emails that lead the man to being arrested and held in custody because the fake evidence made the police think he’s dangerous. Then every month he spends in custody (not prison after a trial and conviction) he should get $10,000 per month. My point is not about if the judge or police are corrupt and not doing their jo…
/r/MensRights12/10/22 08:46 PM
1

My point is some people are held in custody well the facts are being determined. Some people may fabricate evidence and then later find out before trial that it’s fabricated. So while people are being held in custody awaiting a trial or awaiting evidence to come out. They should be compensated for the time they’re spent in custody. Police are doing their job investigating it and judges are doing their job being a judge. Now when it comes to trials and post trial incarceration that’s a different …
/r/MensRights12/10/22 06:56 PM

Incarceration is a different conversation. I’d say $1 million for every year in prison, I’m just pulling out of the air. I’m saying in the time between being arrested and going to trial. Some people may be held in custody awaiting trial. My reasoning for $10,000 is in a lot of countries like Canada and the US the median income is somewhere between $40,000 and $60,000 a year. So I think $10,000 a month for every month is decent compensation in my mind.
/r/MensRights12/10/22 06:55 PM
1

My point is this isn’t about a punishment for the accuser/ fraudster. My point is compensating the accused for the time they spend in custody. The person who lied is a different conversation. My last point about the government going after them for reimbursement is simply because I know the government doesn’t like to lose money.
/r/MensRights12/10/22 06:52 PM
3

My point isn’t in lieu of charges being laid against the person making up the accusations. My point is that the accused should be financially compensated for their wrongful detention.
/r/MensRights12/10/22 04:25 PM
60

Just an idea, go with me on this one… If someone is held in custody for a charge where the evidence is fabricated and the accuser is found to be fabricating a story (confirmed to be lying and not confused or mistaken). The accused should be paid no less then 10,000 ($,£,€) for every month held in custody. The state can go after the accuser/ fraudster to recoup its money they had to pay out. Just an idea.

Hi OP Commenting from my personal account. I wouldn’t say we qualify as mainstream service,( we aren’t funded by the government, all our support comes form private donation). none of our services are informed by any such ideologies. We work very closely with leading professionals in men’s health such as Dr. Warren Farrell, Christina off Summers, etc. We’re focussed on many of the men’s issues that men have faced in the past and presently today Through a non-feminist Lens.

How does someone without a penis rape a man? I’ll tell you. First she tries to rip your clothes off & if you fight back she will hit you. When you’re too week to fight back and too sore to resist she will finish getting your clothes she will garb your penis and aggressively pull on it to get you erect, injuring you in the process. Once you have an erection she will then get on top of you, insert you into herself and begin thrusting. Again injuring you in the process. I should know. This happened…

I should have defined what I mean by toxic masculinity. I don’t believe in how it is contemporary presented. I believe what we do to masculinity is toxic. We take a healthy natural human characteristic and pervert it and destroy the man in the process. So when we hold up people who have sacrificed their lives in war or in the line of duty to their community I think it sends the message to boys and men that they are disposable. As well I don’t know how many homeless veterans there are? It’s like …

I may get flack for saying this but I think it’s soldiers & vets. Not because they are the ones who are toxic but because of what we do to them and the way we present them. We train men to kill and to fight but we don’t train them how to come back from that, I’m struggling to find the words but essentially un-train then. we put them in an environment of life or death, then bring them back home and just expect them to just return to normal. To me that’s an absolute fucking tragedy. In front of ol…

I assume you mean both mental health and gun problem? Well the way I see it is I'm from Canada, the third highest gun ownership per capita in the world next to Switzerland and the USA. This is honestly a massive issue when it comes to men's issues. I work with CAFE, I liaison between the cafe and student groups like Ryerson universities men's issues awareness. If you know anything about the groups problem with ryerson's student union then you know how hard it is for the group to hold events on campus. We did a discussion group earlier this year and some people showed up thinking that we were white supremacist nazi women haters. You can also see this in the now infamous video o…

This shit is soooooo stupid. I work with CAFE. at one of our events a young lady came up to me and asked if we were some white supremacist group (she honestly didn't know better) I said to her that this was the first time I'd ever heard that. It baffles me to this day why people conflate men's rights with white supremacy.

That fucking disgusting. How the fuck can someone justify this because the victim is male?
/r/MensRights04/08/17 12:33 PM

This may just be me but it seems like a man up and get back to work mentality. We need to do more to get these men back in the labor fore to pay taxes and be the breed winner. Does it actually address the underlining issues of why these men are dropping out of the work force? I may be being a bit too sensitive but I feel as if this is just treating men as disposable and saying you need to get up off your ass and stop whining about (insert men's issue here) and make money. I don't think that's ho…

/r/MensRights17/06/17 06:42 PM

I'm going to quote Karen straughan and say "fuck if i know". Feminism or some form of putting women first will never end or go away. Let's say that men's rights "wins".(I'm using that very loosely) then good we should have some form of relative equality. But I don't know what a prefect world and anyone who tells you they want to make a perfect world tends to have to hid a lot of corpses.
/r/MensRights16/06/17 03:27 AM

I understand all that and that's why many men are mgtow. What I don't understand is why OP said mgtow wouldn't like it. Have they been saying something I've been missing. I'm not trying to argue with people I'm just really confused by OP's statement. It seems to me that mgtow would agree with this article unless I'm misinterpreting something.

I don't know how helpful this will be or even if this may hurt but I was told that when making your argument don't frame it as you vs. Her make it about us. I want us to be a family. I want us to be parents. Make it seem like you are interested in the good of the family and your child. I don't know if this will be any help. Sorry if it isn't.

The distance from the earth to the moon is 380,000 KM give or take. That's just over one light second or enough distance to fit every planet in the sol system with room to spare. To lift a rock big enough to provide orbital kinetic bombardment without it burning up in the atmosphere would be tremendous. You're talking a rock at lest 75-150 meters in diameter weighing 2500-2900 kg per meter. You'd have an easier time dropping 9 meter long tungsten rods coated in heat and friction resistant materi…

From what I have seen and heard yes this may be true. I do not know 100% because I have not done any research. But from what I have seen in from family and friends in the military there have been 2 men in my friend/family of 4 people (3 men, 1women) who were sexually assaulted. If you would like I can see what numbers I can find. Sake and I will do my best to oblige.
