Even if she forgave you the trust is gone and in future it will be much easier for her to justify her own infidelity. You are basically giving her a free fuck anyone pass. Its one thing if she suspects but if she catches you then you are done.

Never lie. You will always get caught and when you do (even on the smallest lie) you will lose respect and trust. When I catch someone lying I dont tell them but my attitude towards them completely changes. Rather than lying just be vague or withhold information.
