I recommend you look for the "first aid kit" in this sub. The red pill presents machismo culture as the only right way for a man to live his life and encourages mistreatment and mistrust towards women.

I'm also a woman who had internalised some red and black pill mentality in the past and struggle with other issues. Or rather, I used these to mentally self-harm by telling myself I want to get to know men and how they think. However, it's difficult to separate your fear from your rational self. Dunno if I'll manage. I feel I relate to this post, except that it seems I can't separate the thought that men are the other or superior (I was brought up in a conservative environment where even the few…

I can't judge how good these matches are without dating and wading through these people. I admit looks can be a struggle but guys can still charm a gal with their personality and compatibility.

You seem to struggle with finding an attractive date so the title is a bit misleading. Sure, looks do affect one's dating prospects but your personality and the people you choose to surround yourself with play a part too. There's no magical personality because different people find different features attractive or compatibile. Have you seeked therapy? Also, this sub is for formerly red-pilled people. Judging from your post, you still hold some red pill views. Putting yourself out there and takin…

The society is more than bullies or the bullied but I'm not willing to have this conversation. Have a good night.

Because people who believe in the alpha / beta dichotomy believe women choose or are driven towards abusers. Imo you didn't expand your argument but provided another one with a different context. NEET people aren't attractive but some of them can land a partner (but this type of a person will more likely turn to a NEET later on in a relationship, at least that's what I've seen so far). This isn't a gendered issue.

The original argument was about bad boy vs soft boy and I feel it's lacking ground to stand on its own as I've seen various kinds of men getting into the relationship who don't fit into the argument's frame (as in, softness or shyness is attractive tobsome while confidence and assertivenes to others, one can be both soft and assertive or soft and abusive and so on). It also comes off as victim-blaming to me, but maybe that's how I chose to interpret it. You're now speaking of something entirely …

No. You're still generalising and looking for an explanation for your problems. Many find financial matters important (ex. is someone else accomplished or at least independent) but it's still not a universal truth and it'll vary from person to person. If you're thinking it's just the outside world's fault for your lack of luck, then it's worth looking deeper into the issue or the source of why things are happening this way. Which is why I had mentioned therapy.

Read again my previous comment. Different women are into different things. Maybe it's something you're doing or the way you come off which is off-putting.

You need a therapist before attempting to get a girlfriend then.
/r/ExRedPill24/03/20 04:01 PM

Different women will have different preferences. That's too much of a generalisation. People who believe in alpha/beta thing see aggressiveness and ignorance as something women like while the soft and caring guy is apparently seen as weaker. It stems from patriarchy places "feminine" features down which leads to creating hierarchy of manliness. That's not a fact of women's preferences, but a mere stereotype. People are more dimensional than that.

Wouldn't r/swoleacceptance be to your liking? It's more of a gym cult. :) If it isn't TMI, how did TRP impact your polya relationships?

The alpha/beta thing was disproven already. Just look for the essential readings in this sub. You need help and not pseudo-psychology.

Look up the "first aid kit" in the search bar. The alpha/beta dynamics was disproven. You're insecure and setting yourself up for relationship problems. You need to trust your girlfriend and talk to her about your worries. Maybe read about love languages and try to sign up for a therapy session.

Remember that different people have various tastes. And I've just checked out your post history like the creep I am and lemme tell you, you're handsome. Just don't take pictures from the low angle, that makes almost everyone look unappealing. Your personality can be ideal for the right girl. OP, please read this. Ghosting seems easy, but ultimately, the other person wastes their time by waiting for you and experience pain after they realize they're alone. If she's a conventionally unattractive girl, she could get her hopes up. And do you know about "pumping and dumping"? This is a woman's nightmare and could lead to her becoming jaded or feeling hatred towards herself. Speaking about her trauma isn't a red flag per se. It could be that she's over-sharing, but you won't know it witho…

I second apologizing and explaining what you did (and read what is a non-apology, just in case and for easier communication of your feelings). We can't predict how she'll feel about that. Maybe you'd get blocked, maybe forgiven, maybe she'll want atonement or be unsure how to deal with the confession.

It started out the same way MGTOW/the red pill had - take the advice of self-improvement, putting focus on your happiness instead of people-pleasing and getting out of abusive relationships. Then, create an additional belief system (the pill) around it and claim it's reality (for everyone too!) which the masses are oblivious to. As for FDS, thankfully their ideas will work for only a small portion of attractive women, so I don't see it taking off like the red pill did.

There's no true human nature because people don't work like a hive mind. Self-improvement isn't red pill. It's a general advice everybody can give or follow. You learn social stuff through experience and partly in therapy. There's no rule book how a person will behave once you speak about something or a certain manipulative technique. It's a cult because it claims it's the "secret" to understanding life. You don't learn everything about women form a book or a forum, you learn things about partic…

Lookism, ostratisation that leads to being pushed onto some sort of separatism or loneliness (which is why pilled spaces are hard to leave behind yourself), toxic masculinity (society endorses it by holding a hierarchy of strong/masculine and weak/feminine features), past filled with bullying and trauma... I prolly could come up with a few more reasons why this view is prevalent. It's easy to internalize a pilled perspective when it describes your experience. Inceldom can be a 50/50 case, where …

I feel the antis' movement started around 2012 with radfems and then became mainstream in 2015. Radical feminists don't represent all feminists. There are feminists and leftists who criticise the black and white mentality and purity culture, and are concerned with the witch hunts as well as redefinitions of technical terms or invention of pseudo-psychology (such as the term "retraumatizing" for example). Radfems tend to focus on victimisation of women only and see one right way to be a woman. Wh…

To sum it up, capitalism profits from people's low self-esteem and from using people's desires or likes against them.
/r/ExRedPill08/03/20 05:17 PM

This isn't red pill. Red pill is focused on demonisation of women and learning manipulation through TRP, justifying generalisations and seeing them as the only truth. Pills are like cults. The belief in being kept and taking care of one's health / appearance as well as learning confidence, isn't inherently red pill.

What unique struggles do white men face because of their whiteness? They don't face institutional racism, are more likely profit because of their skin tone, are less likely to pass on generational trauma and are more likely to get medical assistance. No one is arguing they don't have problems or they get in the way. In fact, they're more often addressed. There's also no "degradation of the family" and you yourself could listen to women by reading about feminist theory. The alpha/beta argument ha…

Some women feel good or more confident by wearing makeup, some express themselves through it, some conceal features they don't like or put more emphasis on the features they like, some have to because of their job, some do it because of how people's attitude changes when they wear it, some feel they're repulsive without it, some don't care or don't like makeup... There's no one reason set for it. You apply one point of view to all women, which is too broad (and heteronormative) imo. Patriarchy a…

I haven't seen such a relationship among the people I know yet or I'm oblivious to it. However, I've seen the reverse happening many times. This will be a generalisation, but I've a feeling men care more about the social status and the class identity (maybe not the best word here) of their partner. Blue collar women (especially retail workers) aren't often times represented in media or seen as desirable after all.

The expectation of women to be stay at home moms is sexists and it's what OP had referred to. There are some women ok with this life-style, but it ought to be a choice and not an expectation or shaming / forcing a person into the role. Not every father can afford your life-style, be comfortable with it or have the same resources available. The conclusion points to the root of the nuclear family fad. By making generalisations we risk internalizing them and I'm afraid that's what you're doing to yourself. There are women interested in pursuing, some do care about experience while some don't and so on, some split and some don't... Are you trying to just have your fears and points confirmed? People can be mono- or polysexual and nothing's wrong with either. It's a matter of preference. There are societies with patchwork families and nothing yet has collapsed and they still exist (Iceland, USA). It's a matter of security and family support (which can be seen in my two examples and how differently the societies work). A lot of thinkers said that society will collapse with any change or unconventionality. Taken from this review: "The book analyses 80 primitive cultures (anthropology) a…

Look for the "first aid kit" and "essential readings" in this sub. It's a lot of resources and text to read, but can be useful in future debates you may have with the red/black pillers. Unfortunately, some people are so set in their views and the pilled subs are cult-like so I doubt any talk will change anything. It also sounds like the meds you're taking have an awful side-effect so maybe talk about changing them with your doc? Someone else's experience doesn't look like another person's. First of all, ethical hedonism is a thing. It's wrong to dictate people to live their lives when they're doing nothing harmful. Would you also slut-shame a fellow woman because she enjoys hook ups and sex? People's libidos differ. Some may be repulsed by sex, true, but this doesn't mean it's okay to dictate your preferences on other people. This isn't feminism at all. It's denying people's bodily autonomy and stigmatizing. I don't think those concepts exist irl unless you mean assertive/avoidant maybe (edit: and if yes, it's still a thing which could change anytime and depends on the context). I'm cautious whenever any alpha etc. talk is brought up (usually by a guy) and annoyed by it. Discussing with people who believe in these concepts usually ends up in drama and disappointment (you expect a discussion, you get an angry person screaming at you and they're upset you're not here to prove their point).

She can internalize it and project on herself (as in, she wants to explore, but is afraid of being regarded as "impure") or she might be self-conscious of the guy's partner count. This then would lead to thinking he's either playing with her or she's disappointed she's not his first too. Both things steam from the need to control her partner and her desire to be wanted, and maybe from being brought up in purity culture and/or having unrealistic expectations of how the relationship ought to look …

Realizing you that you judge men and women differently and already work on yourself is pretty good and a step forward. I don't know why you feel sad about those women. Perhaps they do it for validation (and nothing's wrong with that imo, similar thing happens in relationships), money or just to release some steam. The only reasons I'd feel sad for those who have casual sex are when they were lied to or had some maniac episode. Being a virgin at 25 isn't pathetic. I'd suggest hiring a pro for one…

The views depend a lot on someone's culture. Eg. a lot of folks subscribe to traditional roles and the Madonna-Whore complex views where I'm from. I'm also not monogamous so the comment didn't bring out the whole picture.

Disclaimer: my views about sexuality are kinda unorthodox and I look at the subject through egalitarian and sex-positive lenses. I'm gonna write a wall of text with my reasoning and write the actual advice at the end of it (and it's super late already, but I'll try to make this coherent). It's gonna sound preachy but here goes... The Madonna-Whore complex is all about control of the women's choice and bodies (found an interesting post and a study which explain it in more detail and a 12min vid a…

Femist times means women finally get to be independent, there's no need to be marry a wealthy man just so you and your kids survive, people finally start to notice unseen labour and I could go on and on. It seems to me you treat as as a threat to masculinity or are scared you'll be expected to put work too for the relationship to survive. First, what are your intentions?

I get the impression you can find stats on the net for whatever claim you want to make. Homophobia and biphobia are way worse when it comes to queer men so that's prolly why you hear less about those. Also men care for status too, but not all. The same could be said for women. I find the claim about women controlling the "access" to sex laughable when it's mostly men who reach to sex workers and most cultures still shame and try to control female sexuality. I think a detox from the red pill crow…

You are self-aware and realize there's work to be done. Many folks refuse to see that they have any issues and pretend nothing's wrong so you're on the right path. I haven't found the remedy yet, but we'll damn sure get through this feeling "not enough" bs.

I've ran into similar problem like you but I turnt out to be scared of men with time. Had almost no role models growing up and really the internet did the job of raising me better then my parents. I'm still not comfy with being feminine and I feel inferior to men. I'm still not "cured" but I found out rationalizing the negative thoughts as soon as they appear helps me as well as looking for inspirational women to look up to.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
