Most players in the NFL are not fat tubs of lard. You have Offensive Linemen and 1 technique and nose tackle Defensive lineman that would be considered fat. Those "fat men" can beat 99% of the america population in most athletic feats. Those positions probably make up 20-25% of NFL rosters. The other positions are mostly filled with men who are sub-18% body fat with physiques like Greek gods. As for your assertion that kids can do safer activities, I reassert my challenge from 2 months ago to sh…

To present facts: Proof that you have no idea what you're talking about: You seem to think that brain damage only happens when you get a concussion. That doesn't seem like presenting facts to me. That seems like an insulting, catty response to my long drawn out explanation. How do you have a proper discussion someone with someone who is calling you ignorant? I don't have time for that shit.

Read what he said. A father/daughter dynamic in a sexual relationship is the "natural role" that a "well-adjusted woman" would fall into. Every woman with an active, caring father has had that relationship in a non sexual way. That makes it a natural role to fall back into. For a woman, having respect for their man is essential. This frame makes maintaining that respect a more natural process, not a continuous challenge. I get why you think it sounds creepy. I'd say the exact same thing if a wom…

it is basically a Master/slave dynamic. If you read on TRP, there is a lot of discussion on the father/daughter relationship dynamic for relationships. This is the one I strive for. It's a natural role for a well balanced woman to fall into and one that naturally projects power and respect. If master/slave works for you, that's great, I don't think I'd like being in a serious relationship with this frame tho.

Does your partner know of your RP views? If so, does she agree with them? Yes and she agrees with them. She likes to think she's a unicorn, but I know that isn't true. She's the highest quality woman I've been around, but she still won't get a blank check from me. Is she like the women in /r/redpillwomen or is she more feminist leaning, but is still attracted to you anyway? I would consider her to be an old school feminist. She makes six figures but hates inequality and female privilege. She was…

My guess is that its a prepackaged excuse. If she gets stuck with a beta boy, she can stick with the LJBF excuse. If she stumbles into some alpha dick, she can go along for the ride and forget she ever said that.

Why would you even bother to make such an article if you haven't experienced the tough years yet? Exactly. Until you're sure your daughter is not going to be on a pole stripping or starring in an episode of 16 and pregnant, you should not be giving advice.

I wouldn't tell her what to do. You can effectively control your own behavior, not hers. If she's goes out with other guys and you're not comfortable with it. Tell her that you're not comfortable being with someone who does that and if she still does it anyways, dread game or next her.

You should base your opinion on statistics, not individual cases. Is that individual case listed as a false rape allegation statistic? The methodology in how statistics are compiled is how the "2% of rape allegations are false" meme and other misleading information emerges.

It's important to understand that if society prosecuted women for filing false claims, from a feminist perspective it reinforces women being afraid of reporting rape, which is already an issue. They're never prosecuted because a case lacked evidence, if they're ever prosecuted it's because the case was a proven false allegation. How does that discourage actual victims coming forward?

The most important thing is being socially savvy. You can't be socially awkward and expect women to want you. I'd follow that up with physique. Women dig it, but it also is great for frame and for feeling good in general. Go to school for yourself and to get where you want to go. Women don't respect beta bux today. It can get you pideonholed as a provider. Get a good career, but game women as if your career had nothing to do with them. As for being interesting, if you're socially adapt, people w…

i very interesting case of pussy pass, yes? it's not so much her being a woman that dissuades reaction as it is no one causeing a big stink. Perhaps you could say it's more about notoriety then her being a female athlete might attribute to the low notoriety. If anything athletes representing the US should be held to a higher standard than random pro athletes. I think it has more to do with NOW and other feminists making a big stink out of male violence while minimizing female violence. This does…

Is it possible to end up in a relationship where the woman would stay with you for better or worse, sickness and health -- or is that entirely a myth? In western society, the cultural and legal checks and balances that allowed for this type of relationship have been stripped over the past 30-40 years. I'd say it's fast becoming a myth.

Marriage counselling is even worse. The studies I have seen suggest it does nothing other than line the counsellor's pockets. I agree with this. Therapy doesn't matter unless she wants to change. No amount if talking will get her off her ass and try to be a good wife. Its something she has to decide to do.

Examples like this and the Steve McNair murder call into question that domestic violence is exclusively a woman's issue and that women don't have the strength to harm a larger man. Many in the media are attempting to frame domestic violence this way in the wake of the Ray Rice incident.

Fair enough. I'll agree there's a disconnect between wanting a good girl and wanting a bunch of sluts as plates in this subreddit. By assuming there is a disconnect you're assuming that the same men that are spinning plates are the same men looking for LTRs. Red Pill is sexual strategy based upon a specific world view. There can be more than one strategy.

Focus on photos. Have some with attractive women who are into you. Have a beach photo shirtless. Write as little as possible. Don't list your income or real occupation. You want her to sexualize you right off the bat. You want to get it in on the first or second date. Don't give her the illusion that she could lock you down, appeal to her tingles.

Also that the possibility existed that they were both drunk and to consider that Ray Rice can bench over 300lbs but somehow had trouble carrying her out? Dead weight is much different than lifting. There's not many easy ways to move a limp body.

But how hard would you punch her? That's a very good question. It's funny, rationally I would love to hit the girls back, but I'm not sure if I could bring myself to do more than restrain a girl or maybe smack her. It didn't look to me that Ray Rice was facing any serious threat to his safety from this woman who was half his size, a third his weight, and probably a tenth his muscle mass. Assault is assault. In those situations with the female friends--did you feel you had the moral imperative to retaliate, and if so--what would be a just retaliation? Yes, I definitely felt like I had the moral imperative. The reason I did not retaliate is the same reason Ray Rice shouldn't gave retaliated, legally, it's a bad idea. Just retaliation would be punching her right back in the face. I think right now many women are turning into bullies. They know men won't hit them back and that they won't get in trouble…

All I know of this are the videos I saw (him knocking her out, and the first video of him dragging her out), and that the fella was NFL. It wasn't hyperbole as much as just ignorance. In 6'4, 270. Two different female friends of a friend punched me in the face on separate occasions. I never returned the favor and walked away both times. In your opinion, does a larger person ever have the moral imperative to physically retaliate against a smaller aggressor?

We're talking about a 300lb NFL player hitting his wife so hard he knocked her clean out. Dude is 5'8, 206. He's small compared to most men. Your point still stands, but someone needs to call out your unnecessary hyperbole.

While I am sick of it, there's nothing 'blue pill' about spousal abuse and conflating the two is just as stupid as labeling any negative behavior 'beta.' What's blue pill is all the white knighting everywhere. Guys going out of their way to publicly condemn his behavior. It's like they think if they don't say something they're supporting domestic violence.

It doesn't really make sense from an evolutionary perspective. Women have the urge to get pregnant from the time they begin ovulating. It wasn't until the last century that they'd choose to delay marriage and childbirth.

Basic red pill 101 knowledge claim that women (age 30-40) want more sex with the intent to become pregnant. Do you have a citation for that "basic red pill 101 knowledge?" I don't think that's true.

So how does she submit to you? I lead. She basically looks to me as the final decision making authority on all matters involving the two of us. Not to mention in the bedroom... she's very submissive there and we do some BDSM type of stuff. tell me what she does to make you happy ... She thinks about what would make me happy and does that. I don't agree that submissive means "having no opinions of your own" as you wrote in another response. I don't think pairing submission with weakness and independence with strength is accurate. Submission is feminine strength. My LTR is an "an independent working executive," but when she's with me, she willingly submits. She trusts my competence and strength and doesn't need to challenge me. It makes both of us happy. I think many of even the "strongest and most independent" women would love to …

LTRs are work. If she's constantly shit testing you, it most likely means your frame isn't strong. There's are a couple things I personally won't tolerate from an LTR, or any woman for that matter. It totally depends on your goals. Some professions reward this type of behavior and you can absolutely have positive outcomes in both personal and professional lives. I'd argue that both Obama and Putin are dark triad and I'm sure if you took the time to go through world leaders, politicians, and others you'd find more. That being said, I personally wouldn't embrace being totally dark triad, though I see the utility of employing its traits some times in controlled dosages.

Haha. Suck my nuts. I'm 6'4, 270 and built like a fucking tank. You would get out of my way if you saw me in real life. That doesn't make me alpha, that makes me big and strong. Alpha is behaviors, not a physical description.

Briffault's Law is one factor, but another important one is that women lose attraction to a man they're in a secure relationship with. If you can't fuck her brains out on the regular, she's going to get out of line. http://readability.com/m?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnews.bbc.co.uk%2F2%2Fhi%2F4790313.stm

Why not Dawyne Johnson or Vin Diesel? Shouldnt they be crowned as sexiest men alive? They're certainly bigger and manlier and more alpha...? I never thought of alpha in terms of purely masculine traits. I think if someone like Frank Underwood from House of Cards and think alpha hands down, even though he is not uber masculine. I've met many men that are hands down alphas at work that are gay or obese or whatever. IMHO, an alpha is a natural leader who doesn't seek external validation and is driv…

That rationalization is unconsciously thought about. Frame should always be a conscious decision based upon an honest appraisal of the facts.

That's an interesting point. My knee jerk reaction is that frame is conscious and self-aware, whereas hamstering is done at an unconscious level and is almost radical self-unawareness. Also frame is a perspective for future actions, whereas hamstering is a rationalization for past actions.

The point I was making is that for the purposes of divorce outcomes, the study is not taking into account the tax free 900k Brandon Frazier pays his wife every year. So it shows up that he's doing better than her when in fact he's broke and she's making a killing on the backs of their children. Edit: As for the child support question, i don't think people should be forced under threat of jail to pay for their children, the same way women are not forced to have children.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/14 12:53 PM
4

She still controls that money regardless of what the intent of the monetary redistribution is. Are you suggesting that Brandon Frazier's ex wife does not personally benefit from the 900k in child support he pays her annually?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/14 03:22 AM
4

A lot of those studies and especially your overall conclusion have correlation/causation issues IMHO. Especially when you look at the financial side. They only looked at alimony and there was no mention of child support. My ex earns half of what I do and make more than me after taxes due to child support. On paper it looks like I make twice of what she does.

There are plenty of women I sleep with who don't know a thing about my social circle, on tinder or random strangers, for instance. You can't fake true confidence. They can tell you're a high value dude. Your attitude gives you away. Think about all the incels on reddit. Sluts don't want sex, they want sex with an awesome dude. If they wanted random dick, it'd be too easy. Sluts are choosy about their cock.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/14 08:18 PM

You probably are attractive and carry yourself confidently and have a strong social circle. That's what makes college aged dudes high value. Edit: the fact that you exclusively fuck sluts means they recognize your value.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/14 07:55 PM

I agree with this. The thing is, sluts like the thrill of validation from a new dick, not necessarily the sex. Girls who really like sex have boyfriends who do exactly what they want sexually.

I think sluts want validation, not necessarily sex. While some enjoy sex, they all enjoy high value male attention. There's something missing inside of them that they try to fill in with dick.

I don't believe in time management. Obsessively calculating your time has only one purpose: make you feel better about yourself. Dementia isn't something that occurs short term. I never said it was. And yes, it can focus on proper form all it wants, but do you really think that they actually use proper form most of the time? Absolutely. That's the focus of pop warner football, teaching kids how to play correctly. Concussions usually happen from helmet to helmet contact at high speeds. Not coincidentally, the positions that most concussions seem to occur at is safety, quarterback, and wide receiver. There is no passing on …

You can't seriously be suggesting that a middle aged person getting dementia is not as bad as people think. Citation on pop warner football causing dementia? Didn't think so. Pop Warner focuses on tackling with proper form. We're not talking about 230 pound men who run a 4.5 and lead with their heads. I would like to know more on how evolution and biology can make women attracted to things that aren't inherently biological at all. Women are attracted to men with good genes (due to things like pheromones), not status in itself. Women are attracted to behavior. Behavior absolutely has a biological basis. That's why game and PUA exist. Most women will come out and say they're attracted to confident men. Confidence isn't necessarily biological, though for many men, it is. Attraction to confidence…

The legal system we are referring to also numerous times does not protect women from violent men. A woman may call the police, but her report does not actually get looked at, the man doesn't go to jail, and she gets beaten to death for attempting to leave the relationship. In the heat of the moment, a lot of women, from my experience, like a nice love tap on the face. I've smacked their ass and choked but never even thought to try this. You slap then in the face? It's not ok to automatically jump to the assumption "Oh, she's a single mo? She must have been a slut and got pregnant having drunk unprotected sex! What a horrid whore!" That's projection. Read the post that sparked this debate. And actually, even if someone had said that, that is OK. People can make their own choices in who to date and who to have relationships with. There's no reason to try to shame men into picking up another man's pieces.

I bet she'd rethink her paying policy if you'd fucked her before you discussed it. And really 3 weeks talking and no date? You were in a long distance relationship and never even got pussy.

Then why just... not get involved with single moms That's the idea. We're sharing wisdom with one another. . This doesn't mean they're horrible people. Who cares if they're horrible people. The red pill is an amoral sexual strategy. Being in a serious relationship with a single mom is a bad bet. Why does this bother you all so much?

That single mother thread on TRP sums it up pretty well. Single fathers typically don't display the cutthroat behavior in the dating world that single mothers have been known to.

You know I agree and disagree with this. My ex wife and my current LTR know what I like, but after being with an old plate last night who can deep throat my whole dick without a second thought I'm second guessing this. Different chicks have different strengths.

If you buy the idea that men and women have (and indeed should have) different/opposing sexual strategies, is it that much of a stretch to imagine that women find the politics of sex and dating just as frustrating as men? I absolutely buy that statement. are they just less interested? If so, the kind of "bullshit" they might encounter would be being hassled and pressured for sex when they don't want it, screening out guys who promise intimacy/whatever else just to get in their pants, etc. Are th…

/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/14 07:26 PM

Are you really suggesting that gay men put up with as much bullshit as straight men to get laid? If I was gay, I could put a dick pic up on craigslist and have a dude sobbing my knob in 20 minutes. Women for the most part have a lot more bullshit tied to sex than men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/14 04:06 PM

I agree with everything you said. It wasn't something I was conscious of our planned. I didn't even know male relationship strategy was a thing prior to TRP. I thought the norm was for the woman to wear the pants. This Robesta is dead. At this point I wouldn't ever even try for a 50/50 type relationship again in the future. It doesn't appeal to me.

That sounds u healthy. Not sure what's blue pill about that arangement. I assume you mean unhealthy? What's blue pill about that? I assumed if I kept her happy and have her whatever she wanted she'd return the favor by giving me some sex. Didn't work out that way. I know a lot of marriages with this exact dynamic. Guy paranoid about keeping her happy so she may put out and/or won't nag. I know very few marriages that are in fact 50/50. They exist, but they're not the norm.

Not a blue piller, but thinking back to my blue pill days, things were never 50/50. If I wanted something, I had to convince her and she was the approval authority. If she wanted something, I supported it and did whatever it took to make it happen. Not 50/50 in the least.

I've gone into it in several other posts in this thread. Basically, women are objectively more valuable to the survival of the species and thus have evolved with exactly this in mind. The lack of loyalty, manipulative behavior, hypergamy, and solipsism TRP talks about all are evolved survival mechanisms for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/14 03:06 PM

The problem with the latching theory is that generally, if a man has seen you move from man to man a few times because you've seen someone better, they won't accept you when you come to them begging for help. At some point the manipulation harms the victim, while the woman still gets left out on her own because she hasn't been tactful. You're looking at the behavior through a modern day lens. Think about it like this. Cavewoman Jane loves Caveman Grok. Grok protects her from harm and gets her me…

"What do women want" is a cultural meme that stems out of sexism, IMO. the notion that women are strange mysterious creatures that are impossible to understand instead of just regular people. I think women have perpetuated the notion of the feminine mystique. It sounds much better than "women act crazy as shit sometimes". I think it benefits women much more than men as it makes it seem like they have a higher motive to their actions that men can't hope to understand.

And is survival a great concern? It's not now. It was huge for 99% of the history of humanity, when we had all the evolutionary pressures. That's a very specific scenario to negate a general view of women. Surviving is the essence of life and humanity. To act as though it ancestors could take survivor for granted is to ignore history. Female survival is more important than male survival in order to perpetuate the species. Hence women are wired to survive.

women are not as difficult to work out as TRP claims. "What do women want," is a huge cultural meme. Many men, such as myself assumed that women wanted the same simple things that men do to be happy. They don't. I'd argue that women don't want to be happy at all, but I don't want to open that can of worms. Suffice it to say that women want significantly different things than men, and those things do not include the nice guy that we are encouraged from a young guy to be.

Say no to personal trainers. Haha. My ex wanted to get in shape during my deployment a few years ago. I surprised her by getting sessions with a personal trainer. Came home and eventually found out she'd been fucking him....on the floor of the tanning room, for months. So yeah, say no to personal trainers (and marrying sluts).

No. Just have a conversation. Make statements instead of questions. Get her to talk about herself and follow up with statements about her. Don't neg like you did in your writeup. Tease about stupid shit. My personal favorite way to start kino escalation is grab her hand and spin her around like a dance move. The problem with that study is that it's questions being asked. Women typically care more about how they're perceived by others than men do, and thus they want to appear a certain way. Whether they actually are empathetic or want to appear empathetic is beyond the scope of that study.

But at the same time it teaches men to blame women for their problems. Yeah you might empower a man to leave a crappy relationship by reminding him he has the power to do that, but you also teach that women behave in negative ways because they are immature and acting incorrectly due to society. That is directly taking blame for your problems and putting them elsewhere, specifically on the backs of women. Expecting poor behavior from women is not a blame game, its the opposite. If a man has woman…

You mean like every man in TRP? The opposite is true. TRP teaches men not to buy the victim mentality. If your woman cheats on you, its on you. If you allow a woman to treat you bad, it's on you. Improve yourself and don't allow yourself to get walked on. Ah, I see, so you believe that one cannot be feminine without being submissive to men. Masculine and feminine energy is like yin and yang. They compliment one another and have complimentary traits. Is it masculine to be submissive? I doubt too …

I don't think you actually are trying to understand TRP, I think you're trying to marginalize it in your own head. Women have changed in the past 30 years. I still don't think the problem is inherent to femininity, because in a cultural context that doesn't interfere with natural male-female dynamics, even the most frustrating sex-based differences are probably complementary and synergistic. What if he actually is a man who stands on his own two feet and doesn't need a woman? Does that make…

It works. I think there's better strategies. For some people, especially overly analytical, socially broke people, the structure is helpful. I think just getting out and doing it and being conscious of demonstrations of higher and lower values are the most important things in cold approaching.

Haha. That's right. For some reason your name makes me always think woman. :)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/14 06:53 PM

And that's all that matters. A woman needs to be ready and wanting to have sex at all times with a man. Forget emotional support or anything else in a relationship, she just needs to be wet at all times, and anything that doesn't directly contribute to that is bad for a relationship. Agreed. You sound like LTR material now. ;)

My views are very simple, in terms of social views as far as I'm concerned people can do whatever the fuck they like as long as they don't harm others, and in terms of economics I am for the free market, however I do think you need minimal regulation to make sure the market stays free (a market without regulation would not be free, it'd be controlled by monopolies). First of all, marriage shouldn't be about financial incentives, it should be about love. This is the disconnect. Legally, love doesn't matter. Most successful marriages have ups and downs. Having an incentive for both parties to work through the downs is essential for its success. As I've stated, that incentive is gone in marriage today. The spouse with lesser financial incentive who is the primary caregiver has the power, and thus less incentive to work through the downs of the marriage.

Again, child support is the only one of these related to a significantly gendered aspect of jury verdicts, but both parents are expected to contribute financially to the care of the child, not only the non-custodial parent. Further, any one of those could have gotten legal representation and adjusted their alimony payments based on changed circumstances when they lost their j…

A. That doesn't happen. Divorce law requires equitable distribution of assets. Nobody gets "cleaned out," ever. Just to be clear, you just said ever. http://bergendispatch.com/articles/32762672/For-Some-In-Bergen-County-Longterm-Unemployment-May-Mean-Long-Term-Jail-.aspx Men get cleaned out all the time. I never said I was a snowflake, but I'm not the average man reduced to a statistical norm, nor am I the average man as made up by TRP pseudo-scientists. If I see a woman I'm attracted to, I'll hit on her. I'm making the assumption that she's not a lesbian based on statistical norms. It's the same concept as assuming women will act a certain way unless they prove you wrong. The statement that "men like women" is problematic in that it is unclear: do you mean most? all? Is there a moral statement …

Not really. First of all, you can't defend your insults to one gender by insulting the other gender too. It's not an insult, individual humans just aren't unique snowflakes. Yes there are exceptions, but for the most part individual men and women are not unique in their sexual desire. If that's an insult you have very thin skin. I'm a person. Every time you mention to a woman anything about women in general they take it personally. If you say anything about behavior you don't like, they get defensive. Ok. Next onto the next TRP doctrinal question then.... Female solipsism. Basically, it means that women are often times incapable of seeing a perspective outside themselves. Everything is siphoned into themselves. It's a survival mechanism that ensured that females survive. It doesn't exist as much in men as they were more expendable in hunting/gathering times. An example of solipsism is when my ex wife and I were trying to figure out what's best for the kids via shared or primary custody and sh…

So alpha fux, beta bux is more than just money, it's the competing desire for a man to give her primal desire and be a provider/reliable caregiver ect. It's an interesting subject. I know personally I am more than hesitant to be in an LTR with anyone, let alone a slut. As for plating a chick, I couldn't care less about her sexual history. The only reason I would care is the potential distress it could cause me if she had a kid that wasn't mine and it cost me financially. I'd think evolutionary responses would occur with attraction, not with rational thought.

Bro, if you frame to your date that you're looking for a relationship, she's already won and you're at a position of disadvantage. You are being insincere. As if you are going to give up all that poon once women are put back in kitchen ... I think you're being insincere if you think women are going to revert to their traditional role anytime soon. If women didn't become sluts en masse, TRP would have never emerged.

Younger women were more likely to judge their partner on how many relationships they'd had. "Older women have had more relationship experience, on average, and therefore will probably be more confident in their decisions," says Anderson. Hamsterese for: Post-wall women are more desperate.

I see you have already doled out a guilty verdict. Learn the legal system. Probable cause is all they need to press charges. They probably had that before the body was found. The jury decides if they're guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Even if they can't prove murder, there's other charges such as child endangerment, manslaughter, and assault that they can most certainly prove. Shame. Gay. Blow me.

But TRP DOES say that women are childlike, it is remarked on frequently. There's two things that are often said, what your said: women are childlike. I believe that this is partially the fact that society never forces them to grow up and take responsibility for their actions. If you never have consequences, why grow up. I think you're misreading the landscape. Feminism is institutionalized mainstream thought now, men's rights is not. The tipping point has not been reached. Men's rights will keep growing, but it will take years before the trends starts to reverse themselves. I know it seems ludicrous, but how does TRP reconcile it's belief that women are childlike and irrational yet they are grown, responsible adults at the same time? Women are treated with kids gloves by society, both legally and socially. Feelings are constantly prioritized over truth in their presence. Bad behavior is overlooked. It's like if you spoiled your child but on a gender-wide, society-wide scale. It occurs, TRP is saying to not be a part of it and treat them like the equals they legally…

In practice today with stable food sources, and the goal of maximizing muscle mass and minimizing body fat, 3 meals works well.

when many of us are reminding you that we have never in our life experienced a woman pulling 'dread game' material to minimize our self-esteem or self-worth. You're either moving the goal post or don't fully understand dread game. Dread game can be intentional, but by no means is intent or premeditation a requirement to run dread. Most women and men don't realize they're running dread game when they in fact are and most people sure as hell aren't conscious of what they are doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/14 05:32 PM

You assume this is some premeditated mental attack. If you have an abundance mentality and good frame, dread occurs naturally as your partner knows if they displays bad behavior and test boundaries, you're gone.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/14 05:24 PM
2

You're right, many of us haven't experienced it, confirming for us that it is a person-by-person scenario and not all women. It's a power dynamic. The person more invested in a relationship lacks the ability to run dread. No woman in the world would run dread game on me now. That has nothing to do with AWALT or NAWALT, its because I have an abundance mentality and if she tried to dread me, I wouldn't be around after that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/14 05:21 PM
3

I think it's just the natural result of being less invested in the outcome if the relationship than your partner. I constantly "dread game" my current partner, but its not even intentional. I'm just more comfortable losing her than she is losing me. What's ironic is that the more dread there is, the better her behavior is.

Not being intimidated and meeting their gaze shows strength and a lack of fear. If anything, I think it can create attraction. I used to automatically look away for most of my life. Only the last year or so have…

I think condescendingly accusing the lead mod of disingenuously profiteering is pretty fucked up. He could have private messaged him if he wanted to not be a dick. He questioned the integrity of the sub and added nothing of value. It's not like he can't make a new handle. I have no issue with the ban.

Exactly. Even if he was correct, which he wasn't, what's the big deal if you link a for profit blog? The content was free and it was completely in line with red pill thought. Is he also saying we shouldn't link to anywhere that advertises because they make money off that? It's a stupid line of thinking.

Dude said this in his original post: There's no hard data here. Common sense dictates that men don't find confidence all that attractive in women, but you offer nothing of substance. It may have not been your assertion, but it was the assertion of the guy you were defending.
/r/TheRedPill23/06/14 05:12 PM

To me it is also common sense but it's good to remind myself of it, he's right in that there is no data. Data is not a prerequisite for analysis and original thought. Many men take it for granted that they are attracted to confident women. It's always good to question that which we take for granted, especially when what we take for granted is a fruit of feminism.

I do a lot of these techniques in my work. I've found one of the best ways to make criminals confess is to feed their hamsters. Give them rationalizations making them out to be not a bad person and just a victim of circumstance. This translates into game as well.

That's not what toxic masculinity is. Toxic masculinity is the cultural expectations that men are pressured to adhere to, potentially to their own detriment, or at least that's been the definition of it every time I've seen it brought up. A relatively small example is the heckling pestering I get for being a man that likes the color pink. 'Real men' aren't supposed to like pink because it's a 'girl color'. 'Real men' never cry, is another one. 'Real men' don't stay at home with the kids. I wasn'…

It doesn't matter that you'd also not let another man pick up something for you. It just highlights the fact that you are insecure and have something to prove, it seems to me. I read what you wrote. The fact that you only read half of that is sexist as fuck. ;) And that's a definite problem, but it's not a problem with women who somehow "aren't letting men enter the profession" or something, it's a problem of the men that are too macho and insecure to enter "pink collar" jobs, and the women who shame men who are in …

so do men take advantage of the relics of oompaloomparchy by being embarrassed to have a woman do the heavy lifting Yeah that's a good point. I disagree with the terminology, but I wouldn't let another woman or man lift something for me. I don't spend all that time busting my ass in the gym just to look good. I really feel for male nurses. It's an interesting subject. I'm on board with legalizing Marijuana. But I'm not sure that legalizing crack, heroin and meth will have desirable effects. I could be wrong. I think welfare needs to have time constraints, similar to the welfare reform Clinton enacted in the 90s. Welfare incentivizes many bad behaviors. OP, this is good advice. Starting strength is a great program. The consistent increase keeps you motivated and it's built around the squat which is probably the best movement out there. Doing my own assessment. Actually, now that you mention it, I'd do the same strategy on any girl that was really confident, even if she was a supergenius supermodel and walked the walk. Women want men they can look up to. Since I want them to want me, it's a good strategy. I think a lot of people, both men and women subconsciously do this in relationships to try and get power. /r/MensRights20/06/14 05:56 PM

I think it requires a combination of the two depending on the girl. Some girls have an inflated opinion of themselves. For those girls, I knock them down a peg or two. And yeah, you do have to be able to take it. I'll even tip my hat to them if they have some witty comebacks. If you can constantly outwit them and aren't mean about it, they'll get wet from it.

As the other responder said, there are lots of heavy people that need lifting. When there is a big, strong guy who's constantly lifting morbidly obese people while the little nurse plays candy crush, it's not the same job. He's expected to do all the same work that the little person does in addition to additional responsibilities.
/r/MensRights20/06/14 03:59 PM

Always validate less than they're looking for. That way they'll always be seeking it from you. If they're looking for 100% validation, give them 30-50%.

He brings up a good point about male nurses. Anytime anything heavy needs to be lifted, they are expected to assist while female nurses often times sit idly by. Same pay, different responsibilities.

"Treat women like children" This advice is the most vilified advice on this sub, and is probably the advice I get the most tangible positive results from with women. The are women who don't take kindly to it, but the vast majority of women I interact with prefer to be treated like a child. I think it makes them feel special. Women want a man they can look up to. This can happen one of two ways: he can be that much more awesome, or he can knock her down a peg or two. This is doing the second.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/14 12:02 PM

Well, my theory is that the rampant narcissism inherent in carousel riding is indicative of some emotional issues/baggage present in the woman. You hit the nail on the head. That seems like an extremely unfair double standard to me, but, hey, there are women out there who wouldn't think so. It absolutely is a double standard. My default assumption of either sex would be that they couldn't handle it. For me personally, I don't like hearing about anything a girl I'm serious has done in the past. I think the entire premise that we disagree on is that I'm missing out on something. I don't want a committed LTR. If I did, I'd have plenty of options. I'd look for screening criteria. One of the first criteria is have is that she didn't fuck random guys in the past? Why? Given how many terps find it okay to smack women around at their leisurre This is a given? You're making an outrageous claim. Substantiate it or shut the fuck up. I'd say terp is totally okay with forcing sex roles on women. How does one person force a role on someone else? Are you implying women lack agency and are beholden to men? The problem with that is you'd be on the hook for child support. If you can get her to spell out her intent, either on a recorded phone call or in writing and give it to her new guy, it would probably blow up that relationship. Then she would have lost you and the man she left you for. A woman's worst fear is being alone, and you just made that fear her reality.

Yeah. If you're unsure you can always just go for it. You always get the googly eyes before you kiss them successfully , so I'd just wait for that. I've gone in and gotten rejected several times. It's always when I was forcing it and I can gauge better now when she wants it.

Agreed. The military essentially forced us to shit or get off the pot. Marrying is bad. Marrying young is worse. Still, a chick with lots of one night stands under her belt is not one that is a good idea to marry. She's shown that she doesn't value relationships over sex and doesn't value what she is actually looking for. My opinion is that there are plenty of women who don't fuck guys frivolously. If you're gonna trust someone with half your shit, choose one of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/14 03:51 PM

That sounds like "Well, you make out with her" but in a slower fashion as to let her think whether or not she wants it. She normally doesn't realize she wants to be kissed. You're taking the lead by reading her state of attraction and acting upon it. If she doesn't have enough attraction to want to kiss you, you're not helping your situation by just jumping into it. Generate some more comfort and attraction. I thought RP mentality was to go for it because you want to and fuck her is she doesn't …

Get closer to her face and touch her hair. If she pulls away, don't try. If she doesn't, go for it. Edit: Don't make a big deal out of it before or after you kiss her. Isolate her from her friends either through a wing man or taking her for a walk or to the bar.

Every time they get off, it skews stats. Cops do let drunk chicks off on DUIs too. Maybe not when they're wasted, but even they're borderline, they'll let a crying chick off every time. It only takes 10%-20% of women getting let off before the numbers are completely skewed.

It's weird tho. I was looking schools for my children to attend. Specifically looking at ratings which are based upon output and test scores. I think that male-female relationships were kind of a given....they were what they were..... for most of human history. In the past 120 years, we've blown up gender roles and are creating them from scratch. A sociological experiment on a massive scale. Because of the fluidity in the new roles, TRP is rebuilding masculine gender roles out of ashes.

I think that under normal, practical circumstances, nurture will always have more influence on us than nature. I agree with most of what you said. I guess the point of contention I have is that I think most of the nurture factors (cultural and legal) that restrained our nature have been dismantled over the last 30-40 years. When that happened, we basically went back to a state of nature.

A guy I know from work, his wife was a SAHM....could've worked when the kids started at school, but refused. Cheated. Filled for divorce. Got the house, alimony, child support until the kids were 22, and had him pay for college on top of that. She never even bothered returning to work. I've filled out the calculator many times. The number is right. I have two kids. How is it shaming to tell you you have enough money to take care of your kids? No, they are more likely to receive alimony. They do not receive it without fail. I said almost without fail. Also, if you look at the less alimony friendly states, they usually have higher child support guidelines. An example is Maryland vs Virgina. In my situation, Maryland is 2k a month child support, but almost never alimony (unless SAHM/D). Virginia on the other hand is 1.1k child support, but alimony is much more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/14 09:05 PM

I agree with what you're saying. That's the logic in why alimony is paid out to start with. What I'm saying is that when I spouse can get all the financial benefits of a partner, and get the partner out of their lives altogether (minus the check), it incentivizes divorce rather then making marriage work.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/14 09:00 PM

The man has more to lose and thus more incentive to care about the relationship. The man can lose his entire lifestyle in a divorce. The woman has to lose nothing. You're basically placing your life in her good will. The same thing is true in a SAHD type situation.

The problem with the whole SAHM thing is that the way Family Courts are, the second one spouse is working and the other is at home with the kids, it basically ensures primary custody, child support, and alimony all goes to the SAHM. This makes a huge power discrepancy in the relationship. One side has every incentive to stay married and the other side is heads I win, tails you lose. Power discrepancies are toxic in relationships, was especially when the female has the power.

Bro, this is a good strategy to not get laid. If you want to get laid: Don't have deep conversations, at least not initially. Kino escalate, tease playfully, don't take her seriously. Kiss her when you think she's ready and you want to. Don't get hung up on her. Treat her like your kid sister. In order for her to want to fuck you, she needs to think you're better than her.

It hasn't happened to be personally. I checked to be sure. Best 200 bucks I ever spent. As I said in a post above, many times the hospital staff already knows due to blood tests and other means that the father is not the father, and they simply don't tell them. As if it's somehow not relevant.

I think with the economy of scale, it would not be that expensive. I paid 100 bucks for mine to get done. Once hospitals implement it across the board, the price would come down precipitously. The other thing to think about it that it would discourage bad behavior and malinvestment. What is the cost of a productive man paying a significant portion of his working capital for another man's child. The only reason he's doing that in many cases is because of the fact that he is productive. The alpha …

If "some loser" just assumes the kid is his and signs the birth certificate, the three years later realizes his wife is a whore and the kid isn't his, in many states he can't get out of paying child support and is on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support.

Do you all think when the hospital has evidence via a blood test or some other means that a man is genetically impossible to be the father of a newborn that they should tell the father? This occurs fairly often but the policy now is not to tell.

I can really only speak of myself and those I work with. Our agency does not have the leeway to do crazy shit. There's absolutely no incentive to. There may be some numbers window dressing going on, but that doesn't equate to bad apple in my mind. The locals in white suburbia seem tame. The locals in the hood areas seem like more shit could go down.

I'm in Federal law enforcement. Most feds I've met don't have any of the issues that local police have. I've worked with locals, and most don't give a fuck one way or the other or honestly want to do what's right. It varies completely by where you are tho. Some departments tolerate bullshit and some don't. Also bad areas are more likely to have cops doing crazy shit.

Except that until relatively recently (like last 20 years) law enforcement and police were seen as a noble and respectable profession which attracted a few bad apples. These days it seems more like it's a borderline criminal profession which occasionally attracts a few good men. When a few bad apples can be videotaped and be on every TV and computer screen in America, it's bound to change perspectives. The same thing happened when reporters brought video cameras to Nam.

Which is reprehensible in addition to being entirely incorrect You're looking it from a modern perspective. Rape in the past could cost a woman a husband, make her have a bastard child and force her family to have to support her and her kid which had huge economic implications for the family. Things were worse for women in the past.

What's ironic is the author is describing a patriarchal type society in detail. Basically, now that the shackles of patriarchy have been lifted, the impact of rape has shifted. He's arguing that the impact is lesser because chastity is no longer a commodity. I'm typing this ask out while driving, so I can't give it more detailed explanation. I edited the previous post to address the no true Scotsmen part of your previous post.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/14 01:52 AM

I just read that and I think the point the author was trying to make was completely lost on you gals. That was not a ringing endorsement of rape, it was a history and cultural explanation of how changing values changed the cultural impact of rape. It's a very interesting read and it's depressing that you didn't read it honestly. Edit: As for the no true Scotsman argument, I don't take issue with any sidebar material that I have read. I take issue with the logical leaps, such as TRP endorses rape…

One person's comment made tongue and cheek is not an endorsement. It's nowhere on the sidebar, nobody I've read outside of that jizz on face joke has said anything about it. >Not everyone who has their consent violated is traumatized. Trauma isn't a qualifier of sexual assault. If sexual assault = rape, then I guess I'm a rape survivor because a girl grabbed my crotch one time non-consensually. After a journalistic hit job, Men's Rights would be known as "those crazy guys who wants men to wear woman's clothing to work." But women are attracted to youth and beauty as well, which is why we don't observe age hypergamy in women (people prefer relationships with people their own age). Most women are not attracted to youth. Women tend to like men their own age or younger. Men, when given the option, tend to like the closest to a 20-24 year old woman they can land. That would be another inconsistency, as "hypergamy" (when used to refer to wanting to date someone that is "higher" than you) is observed in both men and women. It can be, but the tendency is much higher in women. Men are attracted to youth and beauty. Women are attracted to confidence and power. Kind of related to that, one of the other problems is that TRP tries to use "hypergamy" to describe women leaving men for someone better, when of course that's not what it means and there is no reason t…

I guess the question I have is: If businesses want to make money, And women are better leaders, Why don't businesses make more women leaders? I'm trying to think about effective female leaders I've encountered in my time in the military and elsewhere. I haven't had the privilege of working with many. I've worked with quite a few ineffective female leaders, just not many effective ones.

Haha. Hey Lynn. How's Mittens, Muffy, and Truffles? :) I'm not looking for sympathy or whining. I don't care if it continues as it's kind of funny to me. I'm just caught off guard on the timing. I'm on here for like 8 months and never get called a virgin, then thrice in one week right after Rodgers. Odd.

Child Protective Services is still 90+% female, most with women's studies degrees. A fake domestic violence complaint or piece order still equates to almost an auto custody win for women. To fight back, men still need to spend upwards of 30k. Then you have truly fucked up cases like this: http://bergendispatch.com/articles/32762672/For-Some-In-Bergen-County-Longterm-Unemployment-May-Mean-Long-Term-Jail-.aspx We're not even close to being out of the woods yet.

I also lost my virginity at 21... I'm 34 now and never got shamed for it. Ironically enough, the only insult I have had regarding my 'virgin status' a few weeks/months back came from an RPer here on PPD. Heh, me too, except is was by BPers. :)

I agree this is the problem. The problem now is that if a psychologist throws you into an institution, he's legally liable for that decision. Whereas, if he doesn't, no one is going yo blame him when the crazy fuck kills everyone.

The reason is that they found that mental institutions didn't help people that were mentally ill. But also who would pay for it? It might not help the crazy fuck, but it protects the general public from the criminally insane.

I think he was a lunatic. Here's an excerpt from the article: Troubling questions were raised last night about whether the US authorities missed crucial warning signs about Rodger’s mental health. A lawyer for Peter Rodger said that his son, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome as a child, had been receiving psychiatric treatment from several mental health professionals. His parents contacted police after being alarmed by earlier YouTube videos “regarding suicide and the killing of people”…

I have a case study of two female bosses and five male bosses. My two female bosses were passive aggressive, petty, manipulative, did not take responsibility, and did not get along with other females. Out of my seven male bosses: 1 was bad, 2 were decent, and 4 were awesome. The bad one blew away both of the female bosses. My opinion is that being a female boss is much harder than being a male boss. In order to be successful, they usually need to adopt a male paradigm, at least while they're at …

So this is an interesting subject. I think there are two different kinds if love here. The first is the kind we all want. The one where you're totally lost in your partner and he/she is all you want because they're so awesome. This is 1+1=3 love. The other is self-loathing "love". Basically, your partner is the best your sorry ass can get, so you may as well settle for it. I think most people in LTRs have degrees of each of these. How much positive vs negative love is largely determined by your …

I don't think anyone deserves love. That's an entitled attitude. That's like coming up to a chick and saying, "I deserve love, felate me. I want to be a man who is desirable, the same way you became a woman that was desirable. Nobody owes anyone anything. It's all choices we make.

Why waste time listening to guys talk about the same shit over and over again? You could be learning a language, listening to an academic lecture, new music, etc. Anything. When I first learned about TRP, I was desperate to read anything. After feeling as though I have a good understanding now, I want to branch it like you're talking about. It's a process tho.

I'm glad you took agency for your own life and changed it for the better. Many women would blame men, not look inwards. Good for you.

While Joseph Redpill's great uncle Fletcher Redpill, was the assuredly the intellectual great behind his ideas, Fletcher brought the movement the academic and mainstream acceptance it enjoys today. If not for Joseph's efforts, Fletcher's ideas would most likely be confined to the darkest corners of the "internet."

My point is: when you define your own doctrine as one of morally superiority, you necessarily vilify your opposition. That's not being open-minded. In fact, that's the polar opposite of being open minded. Given that.....close minded moral superiority sounds just like BP, so maybe we do agree after all.

When I read this: As a woman I thought tits or gtfo. But you made an intelligent post. They react towards me differently, show more interest, and approach me less sketchingly. They used to be sketchy because they wanted to fuck you, but not date you. Think about the unicycle adage: they're fun to ride, just don't let your friends see you on it.

When guys are checking out a fat chick at the very best it means that they're thinking of doing some hogging. Women have a hard time discerning the difference between he wants to fuck me and he wants a long term relationship with me.

You can't always be so blunt with women, they operate on a "Feelings first" basis. Agreed. If he had just worked out and started to receive more female attention, the dread might've gotten her off her fat ass and to the gym without him even saying anything.

Agreed. The only place I've found vitriol toward red pill concepts is online. I will say, talking to a female between the ages if 33-40 about the wall makes for sad, painful tears welling up or of her soon to be eggless body.

If you want a study, you need funding. Groups aren't exactly lining up to fund studies on hypergamous behavior in females. I think we all agree that the red pill is not politically correct. Do we really expect that colleges and other groups are going to put themselves out there politically by funding a study that could be interpreted as misogynist.
