Number 5 is annoying me. "None of the other sofas is as comfortable as this one." Correct me if I am wrong but because the first noun "sofas" is plural, the linking verb "is" should be be plural also. The sentence should read "None of the other sofas are as comfortable as this one."

As a contrast to the double standard in society I will share my story which I have attempted to keep quiet, but I feel that situations like this need more attention. I am currently 22 year old. Not to sound like a cliche, but I can almost guarantee if the gender roles had been reversed and it was a male teacher, he would have to register as a sex offender.

My dad is very big on gender roles; he as the man should be the sole bread winner of the house, while the woman should keep house. The problem with this is that it has made him completely unable to take care of himself after his divorce. The reason I bring this up is because my dad turns into a giant baby every time he gets the sniffles, so at least in one case this is true.
