I live in Texas and the requirements here to be eligible to even attempt the CPA exam are: -Minimum bachelors degree -150 credit hours total -30 accounting credits -24 business credits -Classes with a research credit (I think it was 2 or 3 classes) -And an accounting ethics class It was a lot of bullshit to go through just to be allowed to take the test.
