As a woman, I don’t think you’re wrong. But I’d recommend you keeping it to yourself.

Let me guess. You’re the emotionally available “friend” who doesn’t fit the physical standards. Puhleease! Get a mirror and a clue

It means there is a strong intention from a large percentage of men, whether they take classes or not, to fool women about their intentions. So in a world where women are both simultaneously told fairy tales of love and overtly shamed from multiple sources for showing discretion by being called “bitter”, it’s not a far stretch to conclude that many would be fooled, at least temporarily enough to give up sex at least once. If your intention is to have the binary argument that either women aren’t …

Men take literal classes on how to fool women into thinking they like them in order to have sexual access. Why are you playing dumb?

I guess you’re assuming she’s promiscuous if she’s having sex with you because you’re aware that only someone with low standards would be with you

No not analogous at all. That would be analogous to a woman saying she wants a 6 figure man while getting with and making multiple men lose their jobs/ income.

I wouldn’t have a problem with a chaste man having these standards. But oftentimes men whose main goals are bedding women have standards of purity for the same women they are “debasing” from their point of view. It’s like a person who is always littering asking why the streets aren’t clean. Nonsensical

Woman. Yes If it was my only way to potentially see my kids, it would be worth the risk. I think the perspective could be shifted based on income or net worth

Who says? Maybe not with the guy she doesn’t view as relationship material and just wants his dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/20 04:36 PM

Perhaps holding off on sex on someone they like is meant to not cloud the relationship. Whereas casual sex with someone they don’t plan on having a relationship with doesn’t matter. I’d think a man interested in a relationship would hope to not muddy the relationship before it’s established as well.

Yeah I get to live longer than my unmarried counterparts, get to be less depressed/ less likely to commit suicide, have someone who will have my kids and not have to pay child support and have someone to do some housework...not to mention a companion to commit myself to forever. Seems pretty great.

I don’t disagree that a parent at home is good for a child. That’s why I’m, personally, choosing to do that. But somehow you became angry at that “spoiled” (🤣) choice. Some people (much of the middle class) don’t feel like it’s financially feasible to have a parent who stays home if it causes them to have a lower quality of life In this capitalist society. Additionally, many men aren’t willing to financially maintain a household on their own as evidenced by many of the comments in this thread.

He’s SO angry for some reason. I really don’t get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 05:40 PM

Interesting point. I think you have the mindset* of many men in the US who have no interest in financially maintaining a woman and a household which completely negates the OPs assertion that it’s the evil Karen who wants to work to somehow spite society.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 05:33 PM

Lol now my med school is fake 🤣🤣 You have maintained that I’m “making myself look better than I am” or that I’m somehow impressing strangers simply because I’ve stated a few minor facts (like my job and a very vague idea of my household income because it was relevant to discussing my experiences as it relates to the discussion at hand). If these facts cause me to appear to you to be “better than I am” or seem like I’m impressing people, then it says A LOT about you. Don’t pretend it doesn’t. 😄
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 05:27 PM

The poorest parents oftentimes have a parent who stays at home because their income wouldn’t cover the cost of quality childcare and everything that comes with it. I’ve heard these conversations many times.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 05:16 PM
3

Lol you seem angry. If you think anything that I posted sounded “better than I am” then I’m deeply flattered. Again, see about your inferiority complex. It will serve you well in the future.

I would be curious about how the average man feels about maintaining the finances of a household 100% and what their expectations are in terms of the dynamics (mutual respect and support) of each other’s roles. My suspicion is that the vast majority of average modern men have no desire (or ability?) to completely finance a woman and an entire household. I think the case of the Karen is a minority and you’ll find a lot of people struggling to make ends meet (granted, based on the lifestyle they h…

And yes, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with specializing if you have the option to. Unfortunately, many households don’t have that option or believe that they don’t. And many women can’t be guaranteed that they will be in the position to marry someone who will offer them that option, hence the importance of having a career on their own. It seems like with much of the 99%, it’s necessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 04:40 PM

I guess that’s your interpretation of my tone. I can’t (and don’t wish to) do anything about your inferiority complex given that I was simply stating my experience and my theory. Seems like you are upset in some way that this isn’t your experience. I’m not sure why. How are women who “play career”, as you call it, using up resources and what makes them spoiled? Can you explain this so-called spoiled brattiness? You’ve completely lost me...with almost ALL of what you said. Seems you’re fighting a fight I wasn’t aware that I was in. Oh yes, the old: “FDS doesn’t teach anything useful” “Here’s the useful thing it taught me” “It could only taught you something because you had a deficit where you needed to learn and grow” GTFOH YES it teaches women with lower self esteem to, well, not have low self esteem and/or at very least not allow that self esteem to lead them to poor or predatory relationships. Is that why you lot are so upset about it? Fewer low self esteem women to prey on?

Yeah and all lives matter. MY point is that women are socialized more strongly to accept ugly men as if it’s some sort of solution to “the mean, player, good looking men”. Therefore counterbalance is needed to erase that silly notion.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 09:13 AM
5

I said it isn’t drilled in men’s head to give ugly women a chance [the same way it is for women]. Nothing you said countered that and yes I disagreed with much of it but I’m not inclined to be pulled into a whole other discussion about something that didn’t even address my point. Additionally, it’s a complete fallacy that ugly men (or men below a woman’s looks match) will be less misogynistic and treat her better than an attractive man for various reasons. So I think the original thread linked d…

You don’t need the counterbalance because it probably wasn’t drilled in your head your whole life to give ugly women a chance like women have been indoctrinated to give ugly men a chance and gaslighted j to believing attractive men are all misogynistic jerks as opposed to the “moral, upstanding ugly man who will treat you right”.

That’s what FDS advocates (tight sexual boundaries) but men rage
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 05:32 AM
3

So what’s wrong with them learning how to avoid these abusive men? Why would you be upset with that? Are you abusive?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 04:48 AM
2

Yeah I followed these strategies when dating including meeting my now husband, prior to even hearing about FDS. I don’t see why any non-abusive, non-parasitic male would dislike FDS. It basically tells women to focus on themselves and HVMs and don’t waste time on LVMs. How could that be bad?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 04:45 AM
3

If it’s not going to work, why are you so passionate about it? Just sit back and watch the fall. In reality, you know this strategy is beneficial for women and prompts men to step up and you’re too lazy for that or simply incapable.

I said “many”, not most. And yes it’s true. Millions of men on earth enjoy physically hurting women based on domestic violence incidents, sexual assault, rape and murder statistics and that’s only counting what is reported.

I agree that adults must take control of their lives if they want it to be fulfilling. Blaming socialization doesn’t give a valid solution, true. It doesn’t mean socialization doesn’t exist. But yes, ultimately I agree. It’s sometimes painful for me to see women making the same mistakes over and over again. Therapy and introspection are really underrated.

So stop attractive men from fucking below their league. Then these women won’t have anyone to make them delusional...thus keeping the market safe. Or are you actually suggesting that a woman should actively choose less attractive men when more attractive men are made available to them? Does that sound like something most human beings (male or female) would do?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 05:12 PM
1

I’m not taking offense at all. I’m just saying that some women are incredibly naive and continue to give chances. Many were socialized that way. And when they don’t, they are told to stop being bitter and don’t punish the next guy for the previous man’s actions.

I’m arguing because I enjoy debate. The difference is that I hold no anger. But many men here do and wish horrid things on women simply for having the best sexual encounters the women think they can. They blame said women for distorting the market when in reality it seems normal for anyone to get the best physical option offered to them. So these angry men should really direct their anger at the hot men for distorting the market by so-called “dumpster-diving”. This seems like the most logical fi…

Why does it bother you? If they are receiving their preferences then great for them, looks like the preferences weren’t unrealistic after all. If they aren’t receiving their preferences then great for them. They were hard-headed and now will end up alone. How do either of these outcomes lead to rage in many men? It’s similar to when I see bitter men claiming they are going their own way. I consider it a gift to womenkind and leave it there. It causes no anger in me. How does a woman who won’t ge…

There’s no distortion. The reality is that they have sex with the most attractive man who they can get sex with. There’s a different reality of who they would like to settle down with. You’re just upset you don’t get to be the preferred sex partner. Again, take that up with your fellow man. You’ve lost the competition and they have sweetened the prize for even average women. More men in her dating pool who hate the idea of a woman waiting (calling her an entitled FDS hag) means more sex, means higher n, means another reason for men to hate her lol. /r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 04:38 PM

Hahahahaha the society at large discourages settling down in early adulthood. So there’s no indication that a woman would have less NSA sex if she lowered her physical standards. She’d just be having NSA sex with uggos instead of hotties. Seems like a lose-lose.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 04:37 PM
0

Lol so ugly guys are all ready to settle down in their early 20s? Get real tuts. The society at large discourages settling down early. So going for uglier men wouldn’t change the amount of NSA sex a woman has, she’d just have it with less attractive men. Lose-lose.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 04:34 PM

I don’t really believe this. But if I did, what’s it to you? Now you have chaste women to settle down with when you’re ready to settle down. What’s the problem?

Lol 😂 Yeah and they are gatekeeping you and your fellow uggos out of their secret gardens and you’re mad about it. There’s the implication that there would be less pumping and dumping if these women were just were “nice and kind” and allowed ugly, men with no game screw them. We know that’s not true at all. So why should they settle for NSA sex with uglies when they can have NSA sex with hotties? Obviously not all women choose to engage in NSA sex. But for those who do, why would they pick anyon…

How does something being a choice or not have any bearing on my argument? Someone preferring something (anything) in another person doesn’t make them think more or less highly of themselves. It’s simply a preference. Additionally, it seems like this gripe is something you may want to take up with Chads, not women. Men prefer women who are in shape though the average woman (and man) in the USA is overweight or obese. People having a preference doesn’t preclude anyone from getting a match and certainly has no bearing on how they view themselves. Okaaaay. Women have a preference for something out of the norm. And something only like 8% of women have a natural hourglass shape. Your point is that people have preferences that the average person doesn’t live up to????? Oh.kay. How does that prove, in any way, which gender is more superficial. Yeah I think there are times when a girl just wants sex if that’s what you’re asking. I just think much much more often, they are hoping for something more or prefer something more but that’s all that is around. And even times when they aren’t hoping for something more, it’s emotionally not fulfilling at the end of the day when the man doesn’t want to see more of them...simply because they know dick is so abundant so dick without desire for something further feels more like a loss than a win.

Ignoring your last paragraph because it’s infected with language which I know is a coping mechanism for men who aren’t desired and come to reddit to feel validated and play out their false revenge fantasies. To say no man in his right mind wants a woman past her 30s is just too laughable to even respond. Anyway, other than that, I don’t disagree with you. So what’s the point of not enjoying chad dick if you want it in your youth when it doesn’t truly affect anything for your future?

I’m sure it happens just like men enjoying their time with their sex worker happens. If you scroll all the way up to the original point of me posting, I was simply drawing that parallel. It’s fine for some but for the most part women want more and it’s not a sufficient “consolation prize.”

Lol you think low n count women don’t end up older and unmarried? You’re deluding yourself by focusing on the ones who had fun in their youth because of your jealousy and bitterness of missing out. Most of my friends are basically prudes and many are still single in early to mid 30s. The point is that it’s difficult to find quality men who want to settle down and also match well. You’re proving my point. Women aren’t losing anything getting older because most worthy men both young and old aren’t offering up long term relationships to younger or older women (and aging doesn’t preclude her from getting sex.) Whether she was young or old, had sex or didn’t have sex, there aren’t a multitude of worthy men offering up long term commitment or marriage except for select portions of society (very religious, tradcon etc). Age or previous fucking status has nothing to do with it. …

Women being a part of the consumer doesn’t change the way the supplier is viewed. In sex work as well as advertising etc, men commodifying women’s sexuality is viewed as “just business” in the case of advertising or “more professional” in the case of sex work. For some reason, women profiting off of their own sexuality in a more direct way without looping in a man is seen as less professional for whatever reason.

I agree that it’s a low IQ decision for women to choose a child without marriage except for when women start getting up there in age and their biological urge simply doesn’t care about “smart decisions” anymore. Men don’t. They have less of a disadvantage than in their 20s but talking sexual offers, women still hold the cards. Talking offers for commitment, women never had the cards.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 05:55 AM
3

Why do people in this sub pretend that women in their early 20s are drowning in offers for LTRs and those in the 30s aren’t? Just by virtue of the fact that younger people are less interested in LTRs in general, younger women really don’t have the advantage of having more LTRs thrown at them. They may have more dick and attention thrown their way but I doubt women in their 30s are really starving for dick.

Because I see it around me all the time. Ugly men lusting after average to attractive women then getting confused or calling her a bitch for not reciprocating. When I was single, ugly and otherwise undesirable men would chase me (along with the desirable ones) and would get angry when they weren’t chosen. How delusional! And even if not “ugly”, average guys are going for her type. Actual male 6s are going for her because they have rated her as a 6 as well when she is clearly above average/ above…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 04:26 AM

This woman is a so-called 6 according to this subreddit. So when a self proclaimed male 6 (who’s likely a severely below average 4-5 in reality) goes for her and people like her constantly, they get rejected. They then say “what?! Do I need to be an 8 to get a 6 like her??!” When all along this girl is way above 6 and the guy is way below 6. He’s just delusional.

Go to true rate me here on reddit and look at the so called female 6s. Mostly model status or close to it. Then look at the male 6s who are largely average with visible obvious “flaws”. If you think they are looks matched then okay...but I’m telling you, they’re not. And I will admittedly edit myself and say that male whiners with little sexual experience tend to underrate women and overrate themselves. Well I have to agree that the women 5s (physically) who can’t get guys to commit are in denial of the larger market as well. But I think the reason for that is because men value looks mostly and women value looks PLUS other things. So if the woman wants someone who has good values and wants to commit to her, his looks shouldn’t be the ONLY thing they go for. In fact, it might be strategically beneficial for a woman to go for someone SLIGHTLY below their looks match. Now I’m not saying a hottie s…

I didn’t say the women don’t like sex or any sexual attention. I just equated being pumped and dumped to men liking porn or paid for sex in that it’s a temporary fill. But as you pointed out, there is little emotional payoff even though people continue to do it. I am just showing you the parallels. But of co…

I never said being sexually attractive is of no value. I said getting pumped and dumped gives zero emotional payoff for most women. It doesn’t mean some women don’t continue to engage in it just like some (many!) men continue to engage in buying the services of sex workers and porn despite the lack of true emotional payoff in the long run. It gives a momentary boost. You promoting women getting pumped and dumped as some sort of prize for undesirable women would be like me saying the availability…

I dismiss women who complain about getting pumped and dumped, not because they aren’t hot enough, (since hot women get pumped and dumped all the time) but because they haven’t decided to enact adequate vetting (like making the guy invest in the relationship and requiring some commitment first as well as having good vetting skills and being willing to let guys who throw red flags go). Sometimes they get pumped and dumped despite all of this. It’s far less likely. But in the unlikely cases where t…

Men here regularly say they only care about looks. So it’s not a woman’s fault that the market makes itself. Apparently the only thing they have to work on (according to many men in this sub) is be thin and pretty and reject as many men as possible (since they’re supposed to have low n-counts too). 🤷‍♀️ Be mad at the men who help make the market

Direct all this at the OP then who claims it’s a new phenomenon. It has been RECENTLY popularized in US culture due to the influence of black popular culture infiltrating Hollywood and the main stream media. That’s not to say that it’s the first time that this trend has been popular. History does tend to repeat itself due to various influences and that’s okay.

They have the right to...freedom of speech and all that. But it’s not making any difference. Better to put the focus on things you can control than to whine about things you can’t.

Eh. That opens up a whole new set of problems. But if they are okay with it then go for it. Lol@men complaining about divorce “rape” then willingly stepping into a situation where they are likely expected to financially support whole communities. If you like it, I love it.

I don’t think anything you’ve said here is gender-specific. However men haven’t been able to accept that as they get older and have delayed making the right choices or improving themselves in time, the pickings get more slim. Instead they get angry at women for not picking their now old and unattractive selves in youth and feel entitled to said youth and beauty thinking it’s up to the woman to compromise. The result is a set of older, bitter men (and women) who should have started the process of…

It’s shallowness to the point that men want younger women because they are considered more attractive (and less descerning) is shallowness. Who cares? It’s a biological drive. If you were unlucky or lazy enough to be unattractive, blame god, your biological luck or yourself. It’s not up to the person who finds you unattractive to change. Anyway, as I read most of your points, I don’t think we fundamentally disagree. Ultimately, I think women should consider traits important for marriage early on…

Nah, they are the same. Women who actually give a crap about their future offspring care about the financial health of their partner and their ability and willingness to unselfishly provide financially if/when the woman chooses not to (due to childbirth or the statistical better results of children who get to spend ample time with a parent in the early stages); poor, loser men on this sub and others call that gold-digging. Women who care about their offspring will go for men who are kind and swe…

So guys are talking about a girl “wasting her best years” but in the same post saying they (the men) have no plans to marry. So basically these women are wasting those years by not having NSA sex with YOU. Seems to me those women didn’t waste it at all, they just had NSA sex with men more deserving than the complainers (more attractive, more exciting etc) and the complainers are just bitter they didn’t measure up.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/20 04:51 PM

I agree that both genders should start dating with the intention of marriage early on. Unfortunately, I think males aren’t ready for that sort of “responsibility” early on and reject this style of dating leading to the current situation. Most men simply aren’t ready for the type of scrutiny and increased standards which come with a woman vetting for marriage—ironically, this discernment is usually what they confuse with “bitterness” in the 30+yo woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/20 04:16 PM

They realize these women will age and fall out of said window, right? This is particularly important when it comes to choosing a spouse which presumably will be for a lifetime. Isn’t it then more important to see how she maintains herself in later years and how well she did at realizing those other qualities which are more expected in the latter years?

He “got away with it” for the reasons outlined, which are the lower standards of younger women compared to more discerning women with more life experiences. That’s what was outlined and that’s what was meant. There’s no reason for you to add on anything about public scrutiny or crime to make it seem more dramatic or as more of an affront to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/20 12:39 AM

You wrote all that to expose your delusions that it’s common for young women to sexually fantasize about you, a 62 year old man. Okay...I mean they say men have strong rejection defense mechanisms but you’ve displayed it here brilliantly. Bravo!

Saying someone gets away with something isn’t framing it as a crime. They’re literally saying they can get away with these things and why which is simply answering the question in the original post. Now exaggerating it and claiming the person giving an explanation is framing it as a crime absolutely allows you to have it so these men are the poor little victims when they are just getting in relationships and the big bad older women are basically calling them criminals for simply finding love and…

Lol I’m sure at times the girls are “taken advantage of” but what I see women posting here is the explanation that men get away with taking much less to the table for a younger woman than they would for an age match which is simply answering the literal question in the OP.

It answers the question of this post. Younger women have lower expectations of what constitutes a financially viable mate which is why a man who couldn’t get an older woman may be able to get a younger one. That’s not to say that money is the only factor. But if each women needed a certain number of checkboxes ticked, the financial one would be clicked for a younger woman and wouldn’t for an older one. Much like other factors that an older woman may be more discerning about such as maturity, soc…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 09:05 AM

How is the answer to “why would they need to explain it” that it’s retarded. Again, why do they need to explain their attractions? It doesn’t need to be justified to you or even themselves. They just like it. And so what? Why would they need to explain why it’s “not retarded” to you or anyone else? It just is. “Retarded” or not. Do you think if you explain that it’s retarded and they concede that all of a sudden their attraction to height will go away?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 09:03 AM

Taller guys feel better when they embrace you. It feels sexier when you look up to them when talking. They just offer more tingles to some women. (I’m not super into height. Anything just above average is fine. But I know the extreme lack of feels when around a very short guy so I can extrapolate this to how some women would feel about short guys)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 08:58 AM

Why would they need to explain it? Lol! It’s an attraction just as some men have to boobs or a butt. Are you just mad because you’re short? It’s okay, we can’t be everyone’s type.

Just like most of the redpill losers (aka previous/ current incels) haven’t figured out those basics, lots of women have been socialized to accept the bare minimum. In fact they often accept less than the basic acceptable standards. Many need FDS to help them remember that they don’t have to accept what many people constantly tell them they are “bitches” or “stuck up” if they refuse accept. Lol I didn’t say they acted that way for the same reasons OR that men and women are the same. But just like from a man’s point of view there’s nothing to envy in a simp, from a woman’s point of view there’s nothing to envy in a pickme. Because neither is getting what most in their respective gender wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 04:03 AM

There’s no disagreement. “Pro male” just simply is not the definition of pick me.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 04:00 AM

You can refer to women who are pro male but that’s not what a pickme is lol. Pickmeishas ARE women with low standards and even lower self-esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 03:59 AM

Pickmes basically uplift and give “king treatment” to losers, criminals and bums. So I guess all the other women are just “jealous”. 🙄

Lol yeah and men call out simps and betas because of “jealousy” 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 03:54 AM

Lol men don’t marry pickmes. They know a pick me will never leave or have any standards for themselves. Men marry “bitches” (aka women with standards, boundaries and know how to frame themselves properly).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 03:51 AM

They aren’t choosy. They accept anything men throw at them so they are most likely to end up with a loser who will leave them with a few babies and lots of debt.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 03:42 AM

Lots of women love beta simps...mostly abusive, controlling ones who won’t give them what they ultimately want. Just the same as the pickmeisha-lover, just different gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 03:37 AM

Yeah and a pickme wouldn’t necessarily pick your type to pickme for...that’s her point
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 03:02 AM

There is. There are plenty of brothels, sex dolls and women who are willing to have sex with men without relationships (though that usually requires attractiveness or charm, something these men tend to seriously lack). However, despite these many options, sexless men still hope against hope that they can trick a woman by faking real personal interest and a relationship for any appreciable length of time without a woman either eventually feeling unfulfilled and dumping him for someone better or t…

That was not the spirit of the original post and you damn we’ll know it. Attempting to derail a post about how women view men in the context of relationships and sex with mortality rates and suicide rates is asinine. It’s a discussion that can be had, but not here. You are just upset that I would not engage in your straw man.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 05:00 AM

I have a feeling that if you knew how to spell “hear”, you’d have a better experience regarding what you have to offer. Perhaps you haven’t been able to realize the comfort of having a woman cling to you because of your great qualities simply because you don’t have many. Increase your good qualities and what you have to offer the world (not just women) then get back to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 02:13 AM
1

I didn’t ignore that part of Niki’s comment. My response was basically “how is that related to people being disposable?” It was a straw man from the beginning. The virus and men’s mortality has nothing to do with this conversation (the actual topic in the OP) and I said that from the start of this reply chain. Mortality =/= disposable. But I guess some people are on a mission to play the victim olympics here.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 02:05 AM

What kind of straw man?! Who was talking about corona/war? Who was claiming women are the “real victims”? And how does any of that play into the discussion at hand?

???? You seem to be on a tangent which has nothing to do with this thread or the discussion at hand. If yuh want to talk about how and why males die younger then I’m sure you can start another thread but I’m not sure how it’s related to this one.

Oh I see. Depends on the woman and her phase in life. There are women who literally just want dick and no relationship because of whatever reason (this is the type that men should actually be going for instead of being dishonest to the majority of women who are seeking relationships). Then there are women who want relationships but don’t want one with the same sort of guy she’s sleeping with or has slept with. I find this more common in a more mature population when they’re looking to settle dow…

Honestly, I doubt a guy desperate enough to have a relationship just for sex is successful at doing so with any regularity. Must be an uphill battle all the time, constantly being rejected. Imagine offering up your least valuable quality in exchange for basically anything at all. Stupid strategy which will likely leave you with nothing. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/20 06:47 PM
2

Yeah I’m sure they do and sucks for them and their partner but mostly them. Because if sex is the only thing they’re offering, they are right, they are VERY EASILY replaced. Maybe do better?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/20 06:46 PM
2

Men who get some all the time don’t view sex as their only incentive for a relationship. Meaning they don’t give relationships to have sex. They just have sex to have sex...no view that a relationship will get them sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/20 06:40 PM
5

I mean that’s universal with all genders. If there’s someone who is willing to offer better or more of what you value, there’s a chance that your partner may be replaced. But humans and women in particular have oxytocin (the bonding hormone) and will stick to someone who they have truly connected with despite there being someone objectively better. The key is the connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/20 05:28 PM

You think someone being more likely to die means they are more disposable? Huh? A lot of the most fragile things are most valuable so I’m not seeing your correlation.

What? You think it’s rare that a man screw a woman but not have a LTR? Can you explain bc I think I must be misinterpreting. I mean most guys on OLD who have sex, do so without getting into a LTR.

Everyone is replaceable. All people should be self-sufficient. Even if you have a good partner, you should be able to literally survive if he/she dies unexpectedly. But if you mean replaceable as in disposable, no. If a woman finds a good partner who she connects with emotionally and personality wise, who treats her well and shows commitment and desire to build a life with her, that certainly isn’t disposable or easily replaceable. If you mean she can get other dick if she feels like it at any t…

Saying sex/ penis is abundant and of low value isn’t the same as saying that a relationship and commitment and the security that comes with that is of low value. It still boggles my mind that it’s so hard for men to understand the difference.

This is silly conclusion to make from that study. A financially comfortable man is simply an attractive quality to most women as a mate regardless of whether the woman is financially secure or not. It’s so funny because this same thing happens in these “light switch” scenarios. A woman says something directly. A man decides that she doesn’t mean what she said; she means something else or had some other intention. Doesn’t address said behavior because he doesn’t take seriously words that come out of his partner’s mouth. Then is shocked when...well...she meant what she said. And now you have a divorce on your hands!

Honestly, below average guys are the worst. They tend to have a chip on their shoulder because they are thiiiiis close to being the desirable man they wish they could be and often take that out on women by purposely trying to create a dynamic where they feel powerful. I’d agree that a physically attractive, financially secure man is what women are attracted to (and why shouldn’t they?). The OP didn’t seem to negate that in any way. The thread was simply about some behaviors that would make a man high value. Just like a physically attractive woman is what most men are attracted to, but I doubt that’s all it takes for them to be considered high value or what men describe as wife (or relationship) material. So a parallel thread would say “here are some behaviors…

First off, sorry for the long response. But do they? I frequent FDS despite being happily married to what I (and their criteria) consider a HVM because so many of my single girlfriends come to me for advise and mine tends to be exactly what FDS seems to espouse: “Don’t accept less than the basic and realistic standards set here. I think it gets lost that most of the women who frequent FDS have been overly giving and simply need a guideline to not fall back into that pattern of getting used. I’m not sure why they are all being painted as bitter, selfish users.

How is that a way to test it? That’s a part of the sexual attraction. Hell, I’m even more likely to have amazing sex with my HUSBAND after a beautifully planned date. Why wouldn’t a random girl be more turned on after a trip out on his yacht? I don’t understand why people insist on shaming women for being sexually aroused by resources and men sharing them. Just because men are primarily sexually attracted to the physical looks of a woman doesn’t mean women have to only be turned on by the physic…

Why do people think there’s a difference? Yes his billionaire status makes him more sexually attractive to some women and that’s okay.

Lol ITT someone believes women wearing scantily clad clothes while cheerleading is an expression of female sexuality and not a demand of the prioritization of male sexuality 😅

Because women are shamed for disclosing what is attractive to them and painted as immoral.

This doesn’t happen. And I don’t suspect it’s because the “evil women” want it that way. It’s a mix of biology and societal expectations from both genders.

No. Because the women aren’t pretending to not have sex with you. They AREN’T having sex with you. Lol There is no secret. She just chooses to not have sex now for one reason or another. Sexual access to a woman isn’t an object or something material to be possessed like money.

Expectation vs Reality. The expectations of wives’ homemaking may have eroded but the reality is that women still do the majority of the in-home chores and child raring so it would make sense that men are expected to earn more.

I don’t know why this still happens. But I’m always still shocked about the variety of forms misogyny can take. ETA: The variety of ways men are proving my point under this comment: simply amusing! Shout out to the veiled threat of physical harm. 😄

Why is that deceptive? In the past (or with someone else), they wanted lots of sex and soon. Now they don’t. Doesn’t seem like deception. Just a change of opinion, circumstances or feelings. I don’t know why men take this personally.

Can you stop?! I don’t have to depend on a man if I don’t want to due to my high income and I still find men with lots of resources attractive. Stop making assumptions and calling them fact. And yes, men and women have different biological and practical needs that have nothing to do with patriarchy.

“Anti feminist” 😅🙄 Being attracted to resources is as biological and natural as anything can be. One is primarily a male drive and one is primarily a female drive. It’s anti-women to shame being attracted to resources. Not only is it natural, it’s practical and much less superficial than being attracted to looks. Shaming women’s attraction to resources is as helpful to women as the “feminist” push of casual sex without the expectation or desire of a relationship and commitment. 🙄

Lmao. You’re talking to someone who makes over $500k a year. I’m not sure how you got that from what I wrote. Let’s try this since what many women care about constantly gets discredited. Me: “I’m attracted to someone who is physically good looking” You: “Get your own good looks!” Huh?

I’m definitely attracted to resources and what it takes to acquire such resources. That doesn’t mean looks don’t matter. And honestly, means nothing for the majority of men, as most men aren’t in a position to be financially attractive despite the trope that they are in a better position than women because looks fade and resources can be maintained or expanded. The truth is that most men aren’t wealthy. So they can fantasize about always being attractive because of their supposed resources, but …

The implication is that tinder promotes sexually casual interactions with little focus on building a real relationship and many women don’t need an alternative non-real world option if they are interested in casual sex without a future like they would for getting a high quality man looking for a meaningful monogamous long term relationship. Show me a dating site/app where the men there are high quality and looking for what I describe and I’m sure there would be a flock of women.

Wait....so yes to stepping up financially if you die or no? Confused Especially, say, if your kids were much younger and your ex have more children with this man. Should the kids they have together have a better financial deal than your kids or are you saying she should never get remarried or what?

Eh. I also think that’s a false narrative for people in the non-entertainment occupations or on the level of Elon Musk. I’ve seen or heard about lots of affairs in our fields and they mostly seem to be affairs of convenience with the women being the same level of attractiveness and even much less attractive than the wife. I’ve also seen a few divorces and remarriages (I do feel like this is less common than what I hear about in the population at large) but again, the new wives tend to be average…

I think this is the issue. Women tend to be very emotionally open with their friends. Men do not. (This is a generalization, not a rule). So when a woman treats a man as she would any of her other friends, he interprets that as behavior that indicates it’s more than just friends. I can see how it would be confusing for all involved.

If you died, and your wife got married, do you think the new husband should purposely not financially take care of the kids or do you think she should never get remarried or what? Just trying to understand the accountability argument.

I’ve noticed that a lot of successful men have pretty average (at best) wives despite the narrative that a man’s money will “buy” a hot wife. Maybe that’s the case in the field of sports and entertainment. But I’m a physician and my husband works in finance and many of the very successful male physicians I know have very average wives and many of the hedge fund managers he knows have average wives. The men, for the most part, aren’t exactly lookers themselves and seem to have met their wives (wh…

If this is the case, then you agree women should make sure a man is willing to financially provide as a test of a potential relationship?? Why does the “logical gender” insist of attempting to have it both ways?

Your response is a tad aggressive but I’ll stick to your points. No one who is married would have a current dating strategy in 2020 so I guess you were attempting to ask that poster a question where she would “lose”. Obviously, anyone of her opinion who is married would have had to use the strategy a bit earlier than 2020. For me, that same strategy that she espoused was used by me in the late 2000s, early 2010s and it worked well for me. I’m not sure why you are bringing your parents into this.…

I somewhat agree you. It’s sort of like TRP men wanting women who are generally chaste but will have sex with them early on or women who are sweet and non-bitter but don’t have the sort of emotional boundaries which will protect them from getting bitter in the first place. I don’t say this in a sarcastic way. But I think it ultimately comes down to both groups wanting to be “not like the other ones” in the eyes of their partner.

You asked “are you happy married to a good man yet?” I am happily married for 8+ years and he’s an exceptional man. He did pay for all the dates in the beginning when we were both “broke” college students and even paid for all our living expenses right after university when we first started living together. Neither he or I would’ve had it any other way in the beginning. We are currently both high earning; equally contributing to a 7 figure annual income household. I am now pregnant with our firs…
