It didn't take much time to do the math. I wanted to make sure I was reading the numbers right. I don't want to spend every waking moment hitting on women. I understand the concept but just wanted to point out the ridiculousness that someone would spend that much time chatting up girls.

While I appreciate the enthusiasm, and the gist of the advice is solid, how on Earth do you find time to chat up 3000 women a month? That's 100 a day. 6.25 per average waking hour. One big problem I've always had with most modern dating advice is the theory that it's a numbers game and you must hit on women constantly. I see the point but 3000 a month just seems ridiculous. When do you find time to work, and eat?

I'd go, after the first meet she invites you to a party... sounds like she wants more, so go for it. You said you're not looking for anything serious, so what do you have to lose?

This made me literally laugh out loud, which is a bad thing at work. Upboats nevertheless.

Sadly, I have much more confidence as I get older, but then other things go away. (Like the ability to function on a few hours sleep.) OTOH it did allow me to play it 'cool,' since I KNEW I wasn't going for the home run that night.

I usually do, I stayed out 3 hours later than usual to keep hanging with her, but at 44, I'm just not able to function on what would have been less than 3 hours sleep at best.

I never put numbers in my phone if I can avoid it. Last number I got was on a gum wrapper. I made her find something to write it down (and was surprised that she did.) Smelled like berries. The girl was a washout, but I keep the wrapper because it's cool.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
