Ok, I thought I would share, I've got two stories and would like to see what Seddit thinks. I'll post this in two parts, to keep the discussion (whatever that may be) on target. I was playing trivia and later karaoke with friends at a local dive bar we frequent. As the night went on I ran into a friend's ex. She seemed very excited to see me, and the ex immediately gave me the thumbs up to pursue. However, I was a bit hesitant, so without really trying I played a very low key game. She was using a lot of kino, dragging me by the arm to meet her friend, touching my arm, etc.

After a bit her friends were ready to leave and my friend (her ex) suggested she stay, and we (I) would get her home safe. I was still very lukewarm, but I was starting to have fun, so we hung out for a while longer. I did a little escalation in kino, but basically let her lead. We had some conversations about a guy she was seeing, but who insisted they weren't dating. I sympathized, having been through that myself. I drove her home and we were laughing and having a decent time. It was a worknight, so late night shenanigans were out of the question. I dropped her off, and she lingered a bit. She asked for my number, and we did the "let's do this again" bit for a minute. I leaned over for a hug, and a little kiss. Then she just sat there looking at me, so I went in for a real kiss. Again, after the second kiss she hesitated, but no way was I staying up any later, so I sort of closed the night out.

I texted her later to say that was fun. Then the next weekend she was out of town so we texted a bit, but basically made a loose plan to hang out the following weekend. I'll probably offer a casual invite to hang with my group on Friday or Saturday.
