Girl here, I have never had sex on the first date without getting a second one. Hell, several of them became boyfriends later.

I disagree. I have a very attractive female friend who has done this multiple times. Generally, men are so freaked out by it that they say no, even if they know her quite well.

Well, whatever action you decide to take, good luck! I just think your friend has the action right: cold shoulder, move on... but the motivation wrong. You should drop her from your life because she doesn't want to be in your life , and life is too short to waste with girls who don't appreciate you. If she realizes that she appreciates you later on, that's cool, but in the mean time it seems best to focus on other things.

Women have a tendency to be less confident and secure in their own decisions. Don't have much experience with women, do you?

This may not always work. Generally speaking, when I end it with a boyfriend/fwb, there's a good reason. I think most of the time the guy doesn't contact me after I end things, but I haven't gone back to him or called him. I'd really advise leaving her alone, not because you'll get back with her, but just because...why be with a girl who doesn't want you? Why waste time contacting someone who doesn't like you? There's plenty of others out there.

From my perspective? I thought Seddit sounded like a good idea until I came here. As a girl, the sexism here is very off putting. Seddit is good in that most of you seem to value women who enjoy sex (most of you don't slut shame)...but bad in the whole, "women just need to look pretty to get laid!" deal. It's more complicated than that. Also Last Minute Resistance, and how to overcome it. When I've seen threads like that, there are always responses that make me go O.O As someone who has been in …

Real facts: Most older men come up to younger women and A. compliment you on your appearance with no other introduction to conversation. B. almost universally make a comment on how your personality is "mature for your age", while having no evidence besides a brief conversation to base this idea on. C. Try to touch you way too soon. Congratulations on your 18 years younger ex girlfriend, but facts are facts, most older men hitting on younger girls come across as super creepy. The man you're givin…

Girl here...this line "Your biggest challenge as an older guy is that you must not intimidate younger women." Is just not true. I'm early 20's, get hit on by older men fairly regularly. His biggest challenge by far will be not coming across as creepy. Of all the 30+ men who have hit on me, only 2 have managed it. (My female friends all agree) Life experience is all well and good, but the physical appearance changes quite a bit from 20's to 40's. He'll have to really play up his career/wealth/suc…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
