The beads have a lot of different meanings. What I interpret from them due to where I come from is not the same for her. It's just a fashion statement to her. It's not offensive but I find it rather odd. It's like seeing someone wearing lingerie over their clothes lol.

That's lovely. There's just something about the beads that drives a guy crazy if he understands what they mean :)

I'm against any kind of commercial sex work. They say it makes a lot of money but the risks to one's life, health and emotional well-being isn't worth the money. I believe that sex is a gift and a wonderful thing that should happen within a committed relationship between people who care about each other. Anyway that's just my personal (possibly naive) opinion.

I'm from Kenya. It's still a conservative society and most people are religious. The church holds a lot of influence in public opinion. A lot of Kenyans also place emphasis on their traditional customs and values especially the older generation. Most Kenyan cultures are patriarchal in nature. Family is of high importance and most are quite close-knit. The man is the head of the household and the wife(or wives) is his helper and supporter. The captain-first mate dynamic is nothing new in my (Luo)…

I'm a bit late to the party but here goes... I've been sick with the flu so my New Year's Eve was low key. Just hanging out with my family. Midnight was marked with sibling group hug. :) My SO was working. We are in a LDR but hopefully we'll see each other in a few weeks. My only resolution is to keep supporting him and encouraging him to be the great man I know he can be. Our plans for 2015 are to meet each other's extended families, hopefully our schedules will allow this time. We hope to get …

I found this sub late 2013 and a few weeks later I met my now SO. You all couldn't have come at a better time. My relationship has flourished with the helpful tips from this sub. You ladies have been wonderful and so helpful. I've learned, what I suspected, that I'm imperfect. There is always room for improvement. I'm still learning. As Phantom said, it's a marathon. I still make mistakes but instead of beating myself up I ought to learn from them. I wish all of you ladies, guys, lurkers, mods a…

IMO it's a sign of postponement. Women are more likely to view cohabitation as a step toward marriage, while men are more likely to see it as a way to test a relationship or postpone commitment, and th…

True nagging is generally born from a lack of patience, and patience is a very important quality for all rpw (and all people, really) to have. No. MRAs are the polar opposites. Like feminists, they believe in the justice of their cause. There are MRAs who pay lip service to the movement. There are reasonable, responsible ones, there are moderates and then there are the feminazi-equivalent who send threats and doxx people.

I could highlight more from both articles but this summary is basically the gist of it. EDIT: A kind man with little ambition is not masculine, therefore not desirable to most women. Likewise, a kind woman who is not sexual with her husband is not feminine. She is a kind roommate. Furthermore, a woman who denies the man she loves sex is not kind. Pure RP gold.

Yes I've lived in Kenya all my life. What is said in RPW is pretty much what I've known all my life having grown up in a conservative society. Over the years, Western culture has slowly been spreading in influence here. RP to me is way of relearning the traditional values I grew up with.

My bf is 8 yrs older than me. My preferred age gap is 5-15 yrs older than me so it works out great. Older guys tend to be more inclined to ltr and marriage than guys my age(I'm 22). I wanted a long term commitment when I met my bf and so did he. We'll cross the dying and widowhood bridge when we come to it but I would take care of him in his last days and be by his side.

I was very into the idea of a threesome when he brought it up, and we discussed it extensively As others have told you this is where the Pandora's box was opened and it practically impossible to close it up again. Boundaries that should have been set were thrown out the window the minute you started dating casually. Sure you have exclusivity now, but those boundaries weren't set so at best your foundation is shaky. Now is either you a) go through with the threesome willingly and uncoerced b) shu…

King Henry VIII and Jane Seymour in Tudors season 3. She is very humble and down to earth and genuinely cares about Henry's well being and that of his daughters. Jane is potrayed as a humane queen and she remains faithful to her husband. Henry is very protective of her and is clearly the leader in their relationship. Henry wasn't perfect but Jane complemented him quite well. He loved her in his own way and was so devastated when she died. I'm a sucker for historical dramas. I love the Tudors ser…

Maybe I'm just speaking as a non-religious heathen, but that is just weird. Past 18 yrs, it's none of my father's business what I do with myself or my body. These pledges are only for the sake of appearances in their community anyway. They are very hypocritical.

In case of sickness, grieving for a deceased loved one or injury it's reasonable not to expect your partner to be up to it. Edit: It should go without saying that the man you pick as a partner is reasonable. A reasonable captain doesn't make sexual advances when his wife is clearly disraught about about a major life event like a death in the family or if she is practically immobilised by sickness.
/r/RedPillWomen30/11/14 02:19 AM

Unless I'm sick or injured then there's no reason to turn down his advances. I initiate too. We are sexual beings and we both love sex. Sex is an important part of a relationship and one of the ways a couple can connect emotionally (and physically I guess). It's not a chore or currency or a tool for manipulation. If you turn down your man how the hell do you expect him to get laid? What do you think about 'never say no' OP?

How have you gone to the point of getting engaged without having a conversation about money? I get that they are bad people who would want to take advantage. A person like that isn't someone you'd want to get in a relationship with. Why are you assuming that your bf could be one of those people? Is there something that happened that makes you doubt him? Or has someone else in the past tried to take advantage of your financial situation and you're maybe carrying that baggage?

Well, anyway to answer the questions specifically (even though I am by no means a scientist). do you believe that there is a genetic link to intelligence? Yes. Does this link go by racial lines or some other model? Race is more of a social construct. Skin colour has nothing to do with intelligence. I'm smarter than some white people and some white people are smarter than me. Do you believe that such statements ought to be made if they are true? Should scientists be allowed to make such observati…

All men are NOT dogs Use the time you are single to better yourself Leave the bad men alone The writer is making points that have been echoed before on this sub. Often when looking for a partner women end up sabotaging themselves by making the same mistakes and expecting different results every time. They end up with a bitter attitude which repels quality guys even further. All the makeup, dresses and heels cannot conceal a bad attitude. You can roll shit on powdered sugar but it will never be a…

How has it improved your relationships, as a man or a woman? I found RPW just a few weeks before I met my current SO. RP really helped me realise just what a gem my SO is and to clean up my act. As a college student in my 20s, I was beginning to fall into bad habits that were only good for instant gratification but I was still unhappy. In the last year I've been able to refocus my goals. The ability to interpret your partner’s actions and intentions charitably can soften the sharp edge of conflict. My SO, being the good businessman that he is, prefers to do things in a specific calculated manner (even his wooing me was gradual and carefully planned lol). I on the other hand, can be impulsive. I like quick results. If I can't have something now, I have to have it right now As a result sometimes I get rather impatient with him weighing the pros and cons. It all works out in the en…

I first discovered reddit from a HuffPo article about sex, which was borrowing from an Askmen thread. Someone was trashtalking Trp and I got curious. At first I was confused and I remember googling 'the red pill'(I watched the Matrix too long ago to get the reference). Suddenly it made sense. Regular poster on an alt account here. I think the message on this video was blown way out of proportion. Western feminists love to nitpick and whine about every single aspect of social interaction where a woman is at the slightest disadvantage, real or imagined. At the end of the day, tweets are tweeted and nothing is done. I'm from a country where women have been beaten and stripped naked in broad daylight for 'dressing indecently'. Where was the feminist rallying cry? Why was this not made in…
