Ya know, I feel bad for these guys. Their whole lives they've been taught this one way of thinking when it comes to women. They do everything that our society tells them to do, convinces them is correct, then one day it comes full-circle and smacks them in the fucking face. Stories like this, and a similar experience of my own, are why I swallowed the pill. If what society is teaching men was actually correct, then this shit would not be happening so frequently.

I get the implications, yet it's still a fictional movie set in a fictional post-apocalyptic world. Yes, it gave us a nice fancy term in "swallowing the pill," but that was merely giving a recognizable label to ideas that already existed before the movie. It didn't introduce any new material that hadn't been thought about beforehand. Then after movie 1, it all just became a pointless action series; not that I hate those, but they're not anything special.

You should look at the statistics and see how many business majors are finding good jobs these days. The answer is not many; in fact, business is one of the more problematic majors if you're trying to find a job after graduation. You can find someone with family money in a variety of majors, so business isn't going to actually help in that department either.

Like anything else in life, you must use moderation. Fun fact; my ex (before I found TRP) pulled this on me. I'm not even lying. She got pregnant, and I thought I was fucked. Then she had a miscarriage pretty early into her pregnancy. It might be terrible in a lot of people's minds, but I was elated, and then I ran like hell.
