Thanks for the quick reply (and all other commenters too), really appreciate it. This really just gave me a wake up call. I have to admit I've been slacking in some areas of my life lately, so its time to put my phone out of reach more often and really just focus on myself.

I understand, it was an eye opener for me too, now that I look back at the last few weeks. My only question right now is how to keep the contact fun and easy, while also being less available?

Hit the gym, eat healthy and find a healthy male friends group. Or at least start with getting to know people.

What I do is either take the anger to the gym, or write down what troubles me. Usually if it involves another person I write it to them, then once I wrote everything down I tear the paper in 100 pieces and throw it away. Edit: When you write make sure you don't write it in victim style, but rather in a style that implies progress

Couldn't help but laugh at this post, not to tear you down but the story is just funny AF. I bet she think you fuck girls all the time because you told her your balls were too cold. If she still chases you you have nothing to worry about. Keep your focus on the positive and have fun ;)

No, but allowing her to betray you a second time would be your fault.

I don't want to fuck her, I want to know why ex's do this in general.

I'm 22 and i'm working my ass off for a better future. I quit programming because it made me miserable and being an introvert lacking some fundamental social skills I felt like it was destroying me. Currently working 40 hours a week and going to the gym right after dinner. Also studying in the weekends for a big math test which will allow my to enter the study I want. My weekly schedule is PACKED. The only thing that currently gives me issues is the lack of social interactions. I honestly wonder…

You seriously need to read the sidebar again, go to sleep and read it again in the morning.

I was into coding, had a bright future in it too (got some good job offers). And then decided to quit this lifestyle. why? Because it made me miserable from the inside. Sitting behind a computer screen all day long surrounded by other programmers who didn't have much going on for themselves. Most programmers like to be in 'the flow' so they cut themselves off from the world by wearing headphones or just doing their own thing all day long. I also liked doing this, but it came with a huge downside…

Track your progress and experiment. Fully commit in the area of your choice. For example weight lifting. Track how much weight you can lift with each exercise. Write it down. Study what kind of nutrition helps your body to transform, then put those in your diet. Keep weightlifting and see if you can lift more weights in the exercise you did last week or two weeks ago. Track your body weight, take pictures of yourself each month, enjoy the feeling of dopamine in your body when you come home from …

Monk mode and start lifting like crazy. Also do some cardio if you plan to lose weight. Go to the gym even if your mind says no. You have no social circle so it shouldn't be a problem to focus purely on lifting and school for now, get that together first. No excuses here. Once you make working hard a habit, it will bleed into other area's of your life.

The real victim here is M, but he just doesn't know it yet.

Personally I wouldn't even respond, but that's just me. Edit: My honest advice would be to ignore it, ignore her for a day or so and then just start a conversation about something totally irrelevant to her ex.

What is this kindergarten? Thought you came here to become a man. Go do what you have to do, ignore her and move on.

I would use this advice, were it not for the fact that I have a metal bar (called a nuss bar) in my chest that could potentially get dislocated by brute force (also a contributor to my lack of confidence since it makes me feel weaker than I actually am). Staying in for another 2,5 years to come so I have to find other means.

I'm curious what you guys think about Instagram though. I know for a fact that some girls rate your SMV purely based on your photos and followers (basically the same as facebook). I deleted it myself but it seems way more useful to display your SMV as opposed to facebook since its less about your thoughts and mind.
