It's 90% of applicants, not population. Assuming they train (or else they wouldn't take it), I think that's somewhat reasonable. There's no reason to make the physical test more demanding than necessary. These are court officers and state cops, not military or SWAT teams.

Own it, and highlight the coolest things you do. Show you are passionate about it, and keep a good attitude. Make it seem more interesting. If nothing else, can you joke about office gossip/drama? Source: I'm an accountant, but I can talk about fun/famous clients and their unique problems, which make it seem more interesting than sitting in a cube on excel all day.

This is the second time I've seen you post this. 1) I don't think it's true, just a limiting a belief your spreading and 2) even if it is true, it will still apply to the majority of people reading seddit. Not everything here "works" for everyone reading, still can be helpful to some.

All I have to say is wow. All of those remind me of my father. He died 2.5 years ago, and reading this made me miss him in a whole new way. I have been thinking of my father recently through a red pill lens, as I learn more about it. All men with non-shitty fathers probably think their own dad was the best, but I truly believe mine was way better than most. Not only did he provide for our family, he made us all good people. He was alpha, a leader, and if I can do half of what he accomplished I'l…

What about when you talk to friends/family, do you get embarrassed by your stutter with them? I don't think you should think of girls as a different species, just talk to them as you do everyone else. Also, and I'm not sure this is true, but I heard Samuel L. Jackson has a stutter, but has overcome it by saying "motherfucker" every time he can't come up with a word. Maybe try that? If nothing else it could be funny.

This is great. I think a lot of people, myself definitely included, focus too much on steps 6-7 at the start. It takes baby steps, and I need to focus on climbing the mountain one step at a time. And be happy with that, until it is time to move on to the next one.

Check out /r/nofap. It's not a cure all, but for many it does work well. See if you like it and it fits with your life.

I can't help, but search "virgin" on this subreddit and read some of the highest voted posts. There are some that concern being "older" and dealing with it. I'm in the same situation, so please update us!

You should make this it's own post so more people see it. Lots of good info, and it really synthesizes a lot of what gets said around here. It is also pretty inspiring to the people just starting out.

The opening quote, that's from Gatsby, right?
