Well yeah. I'm his age and apart from 'fun and good times' I wouldn't go there. I earn double his salary, take care of my appearance and dont act creepy... In spite of having a mental illness as well

That's what I told her. However he seems really keen on pressuring her to commit to him but for some reason she just cant introduce him as her boyfriend to anyone, it's like she's embarrassed by him or something. Her friends seem to criticise her a lot saying she can do better. Idk it's a hard one and I'm trying to be supportive.

My bf is a HVM and likes her. Says she is uber talented, interesting, deep and takes no shit. I agree with him

She's a breath of fresh air in a world that sexualises young women. I hope she sticks to her guns

Yep. I think men benefit more from relationships anyway. Why wouldn't they want to seek a life companion for emotional support, someone to love and give to, someone they can have sex with, and so forth. So if they aren't looking for that, why? Plenty of wonderful women out there.

Yeah my ex is now 37 still single. He's a psychology professor and good looking, everything looks right on paper. Never mind he beat me up back in the day. I can see women in his career fawning over him with no idea he is a psychopath on the inside
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/03/20 09:46 PM

He wasn't though, my friend has been tracking his history and he hasn't had a girlfriend like since he was 24

I'm talking for men only. Men and women have different influences and motivations at times. More HVW than HVM in society more than likely

IDK the dating quality I had at 19 was no better than at 29

Elon is an overrated asshole
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/20 12:16 AM

Maybe. But some of these women are not weak or willing and they will still persist with sending texts. I remember going on two dates with a guy, being like no thanks and he still would text from time to time even though I didn't reply. To me he was weak and willing and gave no fks about coming across that way
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/20 10:10 PM

Regret at what they let go. Too bad. Block and let them suffer
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/20 11:26 AM

Yeahhh. I lost count the amount of times I was obsessed with a guy only to be the one breaking up with him after ten months lol after finding out how annoying / dysfunctional / boring he was

My ex was and a year in for Christmas he got me a lame ass present that cost him $10. I left him after that but should have read the first warning sign.

Yeah the weird thing was, whilst they were texting, he sent her a picture of his neice's birthday party he claimed to be at. She found his instagram and that EXACT SAME picture was on his instagram... From three years ago. She didn't even ask him for a picture so no idea why he felt compelled to send her an old photo when it was from years ago... Never sat right with me

I agree, it came across as very robotic and disinterested. Like yeah, let's just get this date over and done with

I had one the other day from... Two and a half years. I didn't recognise him or the number and asked him about ten times until I remembered. He even had the audacity to text hey are you still alive? No sorry brother I'm dead.

They're all programmers. We should add 'programmer' to the list of likely LVMs. I've never met one who wasn't slightly antisocial and strange.

He'd only be commenting if he was triggered by the truth otherwise why waste his energy for loool Also being a cat lady is fkn great. Cats are cuddly and loyal and freedom from manbabies is always worth it

Bro the kolo they dance is Serbian not even Croatian. It's called the uzicko kolo. Yeah nicely tell him that you're Croatian NOT fkn from the Vatican so church is optional. Conflating croatianism with catholicism just makes it seem like we have no cultural identity without it
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 04:37 AM
6

Strange I feel safer in Croatia than Australia when walking the streets. The men in Croatia dont tend to grope in public... the misogyny is more restrained for their intimate relationships
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 02:47 AM
8

Right. Any male military party is horrendous and is responsible for raping and torturing women. TBH. Some less so, but hardly any are truly innocent.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 02:44 AM

Yes and the ones in the diaspora are EVEN WORSE. There is one guy in the diaspora who makes merchandise with the Ustasa / Nazi symbols and diasporians snap it up like its cake. Embarrassing. One lesser evil doesn't mean it is good!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 02:42 AM

OMG everything resonates. Especially giving them a pass because they speak your language. Guilty of this!

Haha really. I'll check it out!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 02:15 AM

Oh definitely. My parents came from Croatia to Australia in 1988 and I was born here in 1989. I identify more as Croatian. I dated a lot of Croatian men in the diaspora and a FOB. Awful. To be honest with my Australian boyfriend I do miss aspects of my culture I can't share with him BUT it's impossible to find it all in one person. I chose freedom over tradition in the end.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 02:13 AM
18

Dont. Marry a foreigner. My boyfriend is Australian, still very masculine yet a true egalitarian. He appreciates me if I just make him a cup of coffee whereas Croatian men expect the world.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 01:37 AM
16

Yeah the men continue to live a bachelor, carefree life well into their old age... and even when married with kids. The WORST man I met online was Macedonian. He pretended to be single. He was a doctor. When I Facebooked him, he was on his honeymoon yet making plans to see me within a week. And didn't think to put his profile on private. He is now divorced obviously and I feel sorry for his ex wife. He is Australian and went back to Macedonia to marry a local village girl who was probably cluele…

To be fair I do fault their mothers for partly raising them as demigods
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 11:24 PM
43

I'm Croatian and I agree with you 100%. They all expect models mummy mcbangmaids but deliver nothing of value. Since I've stopped dating Croatian men I've never been happier.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 10:45 PM
31

I'm Croatian and Croatian men are the most misogynistic traditional guys I've ever met. My current boyfriend is Australian and dear lord it's so much easier.

Oath. Men struggle so bad to be balanced
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 10:37 PM

A man's intelligence and occupation have nothing to do with his level of empathy, care and social justice.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 08:30 AM

100%. I always say wait a year at least. The abusers and desperates always rush
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/02/20 10:31 AM

Yeah I mean, with a dead mother who passed away in strange circumstances, a father who cheated on his mother and a paedophile uncle...im not surprised.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/02/20 11:37 PM
5

That was me exactly until I found a HVM. And I mean, I upgraded significantly from all my exes and fuckboys. Looks, personality, finances... Everything. If someone told me I'd end up with this guy I wouldn't have believed you two years ago. I should have set the bar higher. Remember - the fuxkboy is never a barometer of what you can get and deserve. Just gotta keep weeding them out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/20 06:36 AM
8

Yes. But abusive men also tend to propose early to lock you in. My ex did at like 8 months and then did a 180. Some happy medium is best. It really does take a good year to really know someone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/20 06:27 AM
5

Yes they were all like that in college. And made zero effort with their appearance
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/01/20 11:11 PM

Bahaha this is great!! I actually find the finance guys better than the philosophy and humanities guys, although definitely more boring.

Any man who says this is crazy himself. The last guy was a straight up weirdo...

I tell them I dont want anything serious with them and they still settle for just sex though...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 09:45 PM

I have to admit I have NSA sex with men who want a relationship with me but I dont want one with them, because they are the only ones that can respect me enough. Men who want NSA sex are always disrespectful in one way or another

These were in their 30s. Lol They also thought they were mega catches even though they didn't pay for a full date. One I'm pretty sure was homeless at one stage. His ex was a model and he never got over how she could just 'leave him...' Im sure being with her for NINE years with no proposal played a part... Her now husband is this rich doctor who flies her around the world...I bet you he is fuming LOL

I think I had the same guy DM me Lol. If he does again he's getting blocked

Well I found one on bumble
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 10:58 PM

This is true. The last two fuckboys I encountered were bald with beards and chest hair
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 10:56 PM
18

I've done this. We were fk buddies for a year or two (my choosing) and when I moved on, he'd keep referring to "the relationship we had." He literally thought we were in a relationship...which goes to show most LVMs will put in the least amount of effort into a relationship. I kept reminding him we had no relationship lol hence why I act so differently with my now boyfriend
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 10:53 PM

My current boyfriend didn't confirm the date of so I didn't get ready. At our supposed meeting time, he was there and texted me "I'm here." I was about to cancel, but still ended up showering, doing my hair and makeup. He waited two hours for me at the bar and was not annoyed at all. He is a keeper.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 05:21 AM

Same. My problem was that many of my friends had boyfriends and immediately dropped their friends. Or got married young and had kids and I was the single outsider. I wish I joined a feminist or lesbian community even though I'm not a lesbian to find better friends.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 05:06 AM

Do you ever wonder why they stop having sex with their men? Is it because men become lazy, no longer flirt with their wife, retain an air of independence or have their own interests and hobbies? Because they dont help out as much with chores and the women are just too damn tired for sex? Because they sit in front of the TV, stop going gym, eat crappy food and put on weight? Take her for granted?? Men who get sex in marriage continue to work on themselves and their marriage every single day. They…

OMG you guys are all so depressing lol. I know heaps of cool people who get together in their 30s and are full of life. Makes me think you all dont get out or socialise enough.
