Anglo Society / Anglo Culture was not always like this, of course. The Anglo-Saxon (British) and American societies proved to be two of the greatest, wealthiest powers in all of human history. You don't get that way by being a civilization of weak-willed men. Great Britain sailed all of the world's oceans, and maintained an empire. "The sun never sets on the British Empire," remember? And the United States? The greatest (objectively) economic and military power in human history. No other country…

That's the thing I tried moving to Vegas in the summer and getting a job with my economics degree but to no avail. Las Vegas is a rotten city constantly in an economic mess. Almost no one is able to get a job in Las Vegas, lease of all educated people. It does sound like it would be a good idea for you, financially, to be able to spend 1-2 years in your home city to pay off a substantial amount of debt. If you cut that $38k in half in two years, by then you should be making $10-15k more per year…

A city of 900,000 isn't a small city though. You should absolutely be able to find new social circles, or create your own. But I get it that it may be difficult to find new spots to like in a city with so many blackened relationships floating around. Have you looked at the salaries in your field in other cities? Are you just looking at other regional cities? When I first moved to Houston, I picked 5-10 cities and put some data together for each one: typical cost for rent, tax rates, salary range…

I always recommend new grads to go where the money is, get a strong financial foothold, then a horizontal or vertical transition. Note -- pay attention to cost of living and taxes in the cities that you're looking at. You may make a much higher salary in San Francisco, but your cost of living is going to be way higher than, say, Philadelphia or Houston. "Where the money is" means more than just "where will my salary be highest?"

As I said, at this stage in your life, you want to increase the rapidity by which you find your way into a higher income level, and become debt free. If you're debt free, making six figures in your late 20s or early 30s, you're doing a whole lot better than the overwhelming majority of men in the world. Now obviously I don't know what sort of baggage you have locally in your city. If it's something that would seriously harm your professional life, or prevent you from getting dates, well then it'…

In your mid-20s, any city close to or above 1,000,000 people is going to have a ton of young, single women around. As others have said, move where your likelihood for financial/career success is higher, or preferably highest. If your cost of living in Milwaukee is $40,000 per year and you get hired making $42,000 per year, you're netting $2,000. If you're living in Chicago for $47,000 per year, and you're netting $47,000 per year, you're breaking even. I personally chose the cheaper city first, …

You're absolutely right about that. But, well, am I giving OP too much credit? Is he not intelligent enough, and RP enough, to avoid such a trap? The point isn't that roughnecks aren't the great leaders of society, paragons of intellect and maturity, but rather that they're fit and make some serious bank when times are good. I could share stories of my time in Houston, of roughnecks wifing up gorgeous women, spending themselves into mountains of debt, getting divorce raped, and then doing stupid…

Change your photo to one of you doing something adventurous, like mountain biking or rock-climbing; or doing something sporty, like kickboxing or Jiu-Jitsu; or with a very pretty girl, thereby taking advantage of the phenomenon of pre-selection.

High-paying labor careers. Roughnecks and more highly skilled oil and gas industry guys in Houston bring in some very serious bank when the economy is strong, and have the whole "rough, tough, hardworking" alpha vibe to them. When you're fit, bringing in $150,000-$200,000 to year, and your career qualifies you as a roughneck, you're going to drown in pussy. Other careers with high salary (but not nearly as high as in O&G during "good times") would include: power distributors and dispatchers, boi…

Russian girls and Ukrainian girls aren't nearly as slutty as you would think. It typically takes a few dates of investment before they're comfortable and opening up to you, before you're able to sleep with them. And it is a legitimate risk to be seen with a white woman when you're a black man in some places in these countries. Remember: in former Soviet bloc countries, society was socially very closed; people watched what you did, judged you, judged how you behaved. You were socially controlled …

Plus there are a lot of dudes working in law firms making significantly more than that. Lawyers in D.C. are, if I remember correctly, on average (and in terms of median salary) the highest paid lawyers in the U.S. That definitely skews the statistics upward. But most of the law school graduates that go to D.C. don't end up as lawyers. They end up as lobbyists or bureaucrats. the American girls (whether they are racially white, asian, whatever) are generally 5s or 6s with shitty attitudes. the ho…

D.C. is full of blue pill bureaucrats. But the "$80k" is misleading. $80k per year is high for the average college graduate in D.C., at least early on in their careers. D.C.? Uh, no. Mediocre city full of self-righteous bureaucrats. Women stay unmarried forever in D.C. because the men are all beta bureaucrats, and every woman thinks she's going to marry a Congressman. It is an easy city to plate in though. I was certainly not a virgin when I got married, but I have a higher success rate with women now. I also consistently pull a higher quality of women. I do not believe that my intelligence is the primary factor. Rather, I think the difference in success is largely due to internalizing a mentality of abundance. I used to believe in forever. I used to think that I would meet one woman who would just steal my heart, and we would create a family, and live long happy lives together. I thought my ex wi…

hashtag rekt But that's largely the point of my responding. A high IQ isn't necessarily a strong predictor for relationship success. And given that a high IQ has a strong correlation with social isolation -- or at least, a low number of friends -- it may be a predictor for the opposite result.

I'm quite sorry to hear about the situation with your children. Truly, I'm sorry. But I hope you get yourself into tip top shape, professionally and financially, and can both (a) find a better woman, and (b) at least plan for your children's financial future. With (b) -- sooner or later, your children are going to come to you. Sooner or later, they're going to realize how fucked up mom is. Be the best possible you when that happens.

Oh, I gotcha. I use "Da Jews" for the same exact reason, but not because I've ever heard him say it. I've heard other people say it, again mockingly, going back to my earliest online debates around the turn of the millennium. My commentary on Israel is a combination of (a) my political philosophy (market liberalism), (b) my personal experiences in and connections to Israel, and (c) TRP philosophy. I don't follow Gavin's show or anything, but have seen multiple clips of him on YouTube. And I watched his video of his "debate" with that chubby redheaded kid from Georgia with the hilarious name. Right, I think you've explained generally what's going on: there is a mix of massive fuck up fueled by incompetence, a lack of understanding of Middle Eastern politics, and white guilt. But here is something else for the antisemites to consider: if Da Jews are gathering around in a room to try and destroy other countries, if Da Jews are working hard to preserve Israel's Jewish identity at all costs, why is there such a large and growing movement in Israel for typical social justice causes, for g…

Yes, let's hope. But the very scenario is exactly why it's silly to think that Jews are planning to have western nations overrun with brown people. Doing so would result in a direct threat to the existence of the Jewish state.

First, it needs to be pointed out: blacks in America are fucked up. You have only a few decades of relative improvement in black communities between the end of slavery and the Civil War, and the World Wars. If you look at the chart I posted before, single motherhood rates have risen substantially in white and Hispanic communities as well. Going into the 1950s, the single motherhood rate in black communities was nearly three times as high as in white communities. Drugs certainly play a role in th…

I don't see a great deal of hatred toward Jews these days, at least in mainstream media sources. But I do occasional disparaging remarks about Islam. The real question is to what extent this remains consistent throughout the general public. Being a Jew, I don't particularly see a great deal of antisemitism. I also don't see a great deal of anti-Islamic rhetoric, except of course from Israeli friends. As they say, "ah, the cousins? We hate one another. We recognize one another everywhere, and alw…

If Western support stopped in Israel, I do not think it would take much from those 22 states to take over Israel some how. We already know that Israel was on the verge of defeat in a previous war (the Yom Kippur War) against its Arab neighbors. It was largely saved due to a combination of luck, and one hell of a bluff. The initial Syrian attack in the Golan Heights nearly resulted in an early defeat in Israel, after Syria caught Israel off guard -- pushed hard, overwhelmed anti-tank defenses, to…

do you think Jews are the only ones apart of it? Their not the only ones in the world with power and wealth. It's not even that. The percentage of Jews in elite power circles has actually been going down in western countries, and remains extremely low in African and Asian countries. The only country that is resisting the programming is Israel. (Quoting Mark Kogan, in that link): "In 50 or 100 years, Israel will still be Jewish. Your countries will NOT, however. Europe will be browner and blacker, and so will Asia." The only reason why Israel still exists, right now, is because of support from white Christians, or at least white Westerners, primarily in the United States. Take away the United States' support of Israel, and suddenly Israel finds itself on the bad end of a ton…

I one-hundred percent agree: maintain a paper trail, document everything. And if a one-on-one meeting is necessary, document the interaction with video (or at least audio) from before the interaction starts until after it has concluded. The nominal purpose of the Ada Initiative was to get women into high paying tech jobs. The practice of the Ada Initiative was to rile up SJWs and radical feminists against companies or influential white men in tech. Honey trapping? A combination of having a "secret pen" recorder, or preferably a video recording, and a royal bitch of a lawyer. Ironically, anytime you're being falsely accused of something, you should go for the royal bitch of a lawyer. Kafkatrapping? It's fundamentally an act of sophistry, whereby attempts to overcome an opponent come in the form of guilt-inducement and then using that denial of guilt as further proof of guilt. Not to mention l, Linus is very outspoken and does not come off as an SJW bp type. He isn't. He is actually a very friendly guy, but not if you're being lazy or an idiot. The Linux kernel is his life's work, his legacy, and not just countless billions of dollars depend on it being secure and stable -- but actual human lives are. It's when Linus has to deal with laziness or stupidity that he goes nuclear. That doesn't stop some from trying to shame him, of course. But it doesn't go over so well.

That doesn't necessarily come off as mate-guarding. You could be setting yourself up as the authority, or the alpha present. If you spoke to them with authority, and they listened, your value just went up in the girl's eyes. It's a risk, of course. Tons of groups of guys out late have that one asshole friend that thinks he's the baddest man in the room. If you're going to tell other men how to behave, you better be ready to throw down if said group has such a tough guy in it.

A year later she became bitchy and insecure again. Three strike rule applied and now I am a gorgeous girlfriend that respects me Wow, that was quite a plot twist. How long have you been on hormones?

Well, GRRM (book author) was beta his entire life, and was deeply in love with multiple feminists that could never stay with him for too long. He is now married to basically an old friend of his, for some consistent companionship as he ages, and so she gets some financial benefit. There is a great video about it all from one of the popular ASOIAF / Game of Thrones fan theories. D&D (show producers) are just following a typical Hollywood pattern: catch the attention of men early on, then give wom…

"The one who doesn't care wins" It's not about not caring, it's about not worrying about what they think. It's about abundance mentality. I learned a few years ago that an abundance mentality is important for job hunting and negotiations as well. When you start thinking, "I really need this job!" you start overthinking things, and usually perform badly in the interview. I had to consciously fight that urge, and it eventually became second nature to me. At one point, I was interviewing for a logi…

First, a RP-Friendly Relationship Recovery Process: Initiate a 30-day No Contact Period. Don't text her, don't email her, don't call her. If she tries to contact you, don't respond. At all. During that thirty day NCP, you are going to accomplice three goals. First, you're going to learn a new skill. Second, you're going to either gain (muscle mass) or lose (fat) a few pounds, or increase your bench if you're already at a good weight. Third, you're going to go out on at least one date, and at lea…

We the Living is one of my favorite novels. It was also the novel in which Ayn Rand applied the least amount of reasoning, and instead focused on telling a story. You might be onto something.

I would suggest Ayn Rand. Very few writers and intellectuals have been able to reach as many correct conclusions in the least correct ways as Ayn Rand. Read her characters for their behavior and results more than for their words.

I would say your ratio is 5/8 not 3.13%. A couple lines of messages is a very small commitment so I would just discount them instead of calling them failures. In the grand scheme of things, you're absolutely right. But the purpose of collecting this data was to measure some quality in online dating openers for an online dating site. If you don't mind some brutal honesty among men, how hot were these women? How far below your SMV? Or were they at a similar level? Also, how would you describe your…

100% wrong take, most likely she was dumped by the guy and then all of a sudden her hamster made the guy into abusive and obsessive. I would say it depends on how long after the breakup it was, and how sexual this girl is. She might have been looking to branch swing, a sort of post-hoc branch swing. It also depends on what their (TS and the girl) communication was like prior to the coffee meet-up conversation. Depending on these factors, it could be that I'm entirely correct, or you may be. I di…

What's the harm in trying it for a few weeks, making note of your results? It apparently can slim your waistline by a couple of inches.

I've never tried it. My waist has been the same size for the last ten years, so I never felt the need to.

I've been trying out some new material on OkCupid for the past month. So far, I've messaged 160 different girls with one of four openers. I'm in a new city now, and wanted to try some new approaches. So, I whipped up an Excel spreadsheet with usernames of 160 different girls . I identified which opener was used on each girl as I went along. (5-10 openers per night.) Side Note: Say "too much effort" and I'll call your mother a whore. There is a higher purpose to what I am doing here. It's worth a…

Have you been seeing any of the articles coming out over these past several years about how you shouldn't compliment your children by telling them that they're "so smart!" and "so talented!", just these "amazing" little geniuses? Instead, you should compliment them on their actions and work ethic. It's the same thing with women, unless you're in a certain situation where you can tell she needs a compliment to feel secure about going out. When To Compliment: Is she not feeling confident going out…

Turns out he was abusive and obssesive, stalking her after school when they would argue. Now I felt bad and thought in order to get this girl I would have to play emotional tampon and show my beta side. The strange twist in all of this is that the "abusive and obsessive" stalker was almost guaranteed to be more beta than alpha. She was plotting this guy to see if he was man enough to pull her away from a guy who was giving her the creeps, and all he did in response was remind her of the guy she …

Two Categories of Conversation Topics: (A) Shit that friends and family talk about: homework; what their asshole friend / neighbor / significant other / or parents did to them; how busy work was; the project that you have to do for class; why she's not getting the respect / attention / appreciation she deserves; money troubles You'll note that most of these topics are negative in nature, or are outright above making her feel better about herself. If you're talking about these things with a girl …

N-Count for a ONS? Who fucking cares? Wrap it, and hit it hard. N-Count for an LTR? My rule book on the matter says this: High School: 1-3 is okay | 1-3 in total (the lower the better) College Age: 1-3 is okay | 2-6 in total (the lower the better) 20-Somethings: 1-3 is okay | 3-9 in total (the lower the better) Early to Mid-30s: 1-3 is okay | 4-12 in total (the lower the better) Now I am only 32. I don't plan on being unmarried and without children when I am in my late 30s, but let's assume I am…

A study showed that women now have more sexual partners than men, are more likely to be unfaithful than men, over a fourth would sleep with a married man, and more jarring facts. Back it up. The article that you're linking to and referencing wasn't a study, nor was it about a study. It was a survey allegedly conducted by More Magazine, which no longer exists (April 2016 was its final issue). These magazine surveys are just as accurate and reliable as any other magazine survey. They're not scient…

They're more openly sexual than your average American girl, especially during their time in the IDF or college. But (a) American girls are much more delicate and hygienic, and (b) American girls are easier to deal with. If you want to be shit tested like you've never been before, get into an LTR with an Israeli girl. They constantly shit test to cow Israeli guys after the guys get out of the IDF and fuck around in Thailand or South America for a year. Since Israeli girls tend to be done with the…

Very interesting anecdotes, thank you for sharing. It certainly adds to the evidence supporting the cliche about the middle class and wealthy white girls fucking around when on vacation in exotic places. I basically nexted a girl I was in an LTR with because she wanted to go have fun in Belize or something with her friends from work, the primary woman in the group being (a) a single mother, and (b) a known slut, having had sex with multiple men in the office. I told her, "I don't want a slave, s…
