Humor depends on abstraction and prediction. It plays with the predictions the human brain is making 24/7 and takes them for a clever surprise (jumping to another "place", requiring abstraction). Needless to say women lack exactly these skills, which are probably the primary reasons for a larger brain.

IMHO the most important factor is effort and intensity. Running offers the advantage that you can't do it without a significant amount of effort while it is pretty easy to become lazy in the gym or on the bike.

Being outside really is incredible. I can't explain it, but when i go outside any kind of depression will instantly dissolve like a fart in a tornado. I tried to replicate this feeling inside my home for many years without success and have to conclude that it is magical.

Stop drinking coffee, please! It does not cost you anything, you don't have to "do" anything, just stop consuming any caffeine for 2 weeks. If my pathetic begging can not motivate you to do so read the book "caffeine blues", on a sleepless night maybe.

When i was in kindergarten we had little toy-cars and we argued about which was best. We were only children of course and none of this mattered. The program does not determine your success, what matters is that point in time where it get's difficult. What do you think when it get's hard and how many more sets will you do? Will you be in pain, will you suffer, will you push again and again or will you find a reason to stop?

Every higher animal eats meat. Even herbivores happily accept meat when offered. If you are healthy and i eat you, per definition you will supply me with every nutrient my body could possibly desire. Since canibalism sucks i choose to eat the next best thing, animals with a similar biology to mine, not plants who barely have any nutrient-requirements in common. Do what you want but objectively veganism is a horrible diet.

You said he has a nice face. The face is 95% of your looks. He was able to be charming only because he had an attractive face. Everything depends on your face because this is what is representing your level of masculinity.

If you think your face is ugly make sure it is not because of too much fat. Chisseled ugly faces are very rare, most men simply carry too much fat.

There is no hacking and there is no system, there is only you. You have to be satisfied with the way you act. If you need more time, get up earlier. You might think you need the sleep, but you probably don't. Wake up 90 minutes earlier, get out of the house immediately and drive/cycle/run to the gym. By the time you are back home at the time you usually get your lazy ass out of the bed to grab your first coffee, you will already be at 100% and fully operational, proud of how you started your day…

You can do even better then this: Skip the carbs, let your muscles adapt to use fatty acids instead and have an almost endless supply of energy for them while reducing your body-fat at the same time. Yes, muscles can suck up glucose and help prevent further damage (fat-gain, fatty liver, obesity, arterial damage, strokes etc.), but other then that they have no benefits. Carbs don't increase protein synthesis and they prevent you from access to your body-fat (insulin). Carbs are nothing more then…

Hahaha, this if by far the dumbest shit you wrote so far. You have no fucking clue what you are talking about. You dont know shit about energy metabolism, all you do is repeating the loudest nonsense you found on the web. Start using your brain you idiot. The only carb that can be eaten unprocessed are fruits. Fruits grow only seasonally to make us fat to get through the cold winter. Fruits/Veggies have no fat, barely any protein and only a small selection of vitamins and minerals. Meat has all vitamins, all minerals, all amino acids and plenty of fat for the production of our hormones. You are desperately trying to defend an agenda that is boring as fuck. Yes, primates can thrive in the rain forrest, but for every other environment you need meat…

Vegetables have no calories, barely any nutrients and are non-digestible for humans without cooking. They also don't grow for several months each year. To my simple mind that sounds like a shit foodgroup.
/r/TheRedPill21/02/17 08:21 AM

If that were true we would be long extinct because we did not have access to glucose all day year around. 75% of energy can be supplied by ketones, the rest by glucose which the human body can make from fat and protein. Carbohydrates are non-essential. Look around yourself, there are very little carbs in nature, basically only fruits and these are available only seasonally to make us fat for the winter.

I hate to defend them bitches, but if you observe men and women at a beach, lake or swimming pool you will notice that most females look decent (or at least have a feminine physique) while 95% of men look like a gender-neutral disfigured sack of shit. If women cared as little about their looks as men these graphs would look the same.

I agree that a small jaw is unattractive and cannot be fixed. Good point. I just believe that most males do not even get to that stage of "Im ripped now, what next?" because they are fat, lazy and ignorant of their low value. Because of my own face-fat it is the one thing i focus most on and observe in others. It disgusts me. Regarding Jeff we are obviously 2 homos with a different taste in men.

I wasn't aware jeff is the athlete-x guy. If you seriously think he has an ugly face then you live in a different reality. In my reality his face is a 7 and his body a 9 (for his age, otherwise less)

Chisselled has nothing to do with bone structure, all it means is a very low amount of fat on top of your bones. Anyone can achieve that but 99,99% of all males dont. If you reach that point it is almost impossible not to look manly and therefore attractive to a female. Soft facial structures are fat, not bones. Symmetry and proportions are not as relevant for a male face like they are in females. Low body-fat + muscle indicates high testosterone levels, nothing else matters. After all, this is …

The bone structure is almost irrelevant. Observe and you will notice that most ugly males are simply having too much fat in their face. This is not necessarily because they are all overweight but more due to their sickly fucked up hormones. Their testosterone is so low that their face is storing more fat, just like a female face. Face-fat is feminine, they can look good with it, we will look like a ... well... average "man". Show me a ugly male face with a chiselled jawline and i will invite you…

This reminds me about a passage from a book about meditation ("The Mind Illuminated"): In reality, all we’re “doing”in meditation is forming and holding specific conscious intentions—nothing more. In fact, while it may not be obvious, all our achievements originate from intentions. Consider learning to play catch. As a child, you may have wanted to play catch, but at first your arm and hand just didn’t move in quite the right way. However, by sustaining the intention to catch the ball, after muc…

To me facial aesthetics is a very interesting topic that seems to be not covered very well (if at all) and I would appreciate anyone's opinion on this. Here are my random thoughts and observations: Men and women seem to be very different when it comes to facial attractiveness. I noticed that women often have attractive faces even though their bodies are - excuse the language - absolute shit. They can have the body of a land-whale and still feature an attractive face. In men it is not necessarily…

Do not measure yourself with your standards for female beauty. The only thing making a male face ugly (or un-masculine) is FAT. Fat cheeks, double chin, this shit has no place in a masculine face. Everything else is almost irrelevant. Big nose, deformed chin, small ears... asymmetries and proportions don't matter like they do for female facial beauty. A male face only needs to look tough and chiseled.

Dude, you have no idea how much lifting transforms your body. Do you think the guys in the gym always looked like that only with less muscles? No, some of them had wide hips and narrow shoulders just like you. I had wide hips myself. I thought that's the way it is, genetics and all that bullshit. But if you consistently lift you will reprogram your body and it will adapt to the new requirements. Because that's what it f*cking does, it adapts and it grows to survive.
/r/askTRP14/07/16 08:22 PM
2

I wish i could transfer my experiences when i went keto and started lifting directly into your brain. I was a depressed zombie until the age of 35. If you eat shit you will feel like shit. Your food creates your body and your body creates you. Shit food -> shit hormones -> shit you. You are not aware of that fact because your environment told you food is not relevant. But society does not care about you, only you can care for yourself. I hope some day you will understand this. Good luck.

I'm really glad they helped you and my opinion is of course based on my experience even if it's worded as an absolute statement. My own experiences with shrooms and LSD have actually been very positive (it was about 15 years ago). I imagine psychedelics as a giant sledge. They shatter your reality about yourself like nothing else and you are given the chance to rebuild yourself without the flaws you might have had. It is indeed very enlightening to suddenly experience that what you thought is yo…

Psychedelics are just another form of entertainment. It might be more insightful then watching movies on your 4k TV but once the flick is over all you have left are some fond memories. Facing your reality and establishing a regular meditation practice will do alot more for you. Like lifting it requires discipline and just like in lifting you will become stronger by facing your weaknesses.

I'm a newb myself but found 2 gems: For a step by step guide on what to do and why check out the very recent book "The Mind Illuminated". It's very "technical" in the way how it explains why you should develop certain abilities to get "ahead" in the meditation process. IMHO it's great for satisfying your intellectual curiosity. It's a strict no-bullshit approach. Also check out Pema Chodron. Besides her books she also gives alot of talks, you can find many of them online on the usual places. She…

Check out the book "The Mind Illuminated". It's a very recent book about meditation from a neuro-scientist and get's recommended a lot as the new de-facto standard for all about meditation technique. What makes it special as far as i can tell (i'm new to meditation) is that it gives you a incredibly detailed roadmap of what to do and WHY, and how it affects and trains your "mind". The whole process is divided into 10 steps and at every step you get introduced to a lot of theory (free of religion…

I'm not saying everyone should move to africa or mercury to get as much sun as possible, but many avoid uv light completely because we are told it's harmfull. We have evolved in sun-light, we need it. You are adapted to lower intensities thus you require less. That's all.

Because you are not used to it anymore. The only way to get used to uv light is to be outside. Windows, glasses, contacts, block uv light. Don't put an eskimo into the sahara desert and blame the desert.

I would like to add a few things: Around 100 years ago skin-cancer was successfully treated with uv-light. The studies showing increased risk of cancer from uv light have all been done with artificial lights, which have a completely different spectrum then the sun. If any part of the sun's spectrum would be harmfull we'd be long extinct. We were outside all the time. We worked outside and spent our free time outside (no TV) and there was no skin-cancer (and dont tell me we could not detect it. H…

IMHO it depends on your face which I consider to be the most important bodypart unless you live in a sauna. Some faces look good on 15-20% bodyfat (strong masculine features thx to higher testosterone etc.) while others need to go lower to get the chubbiness out of it. I'm just saying that cause I belong to the latter group. At 15% bodyfat I'm pretty OK with my body but my fat fucking face requires me to go lower.

"The way of men" is adressing this. I was just listening to it a few hours ago, but basically men/boys test/bully others to test their integrity and strength in order to judge whether they have the courage and integrity to join the tribe. Weak men = unreliable = death of the tribe.

I have a question, i do not understand this. Why is it preferred to have a "i don't give a fuck" attitude in this situation? Isn't the woman supposed to get some "emotional investment" too? Obviously you would not want to start begging her to stay, but what if you just made it clear - without any trace of weakness - that she belongs to you and it is gonna stay that way? Like, "STFU bitch, you belong to me". Why do we have to pretend to not give a fuck?

My favorite explanation of humor is this: "Our brains are engaged full time in real-time (risky) heuristic search, generating presumptions about what will be experienced next in every domain. Not neccessarily IMHO. I did squats and deadlifts for years. I used correct form where correct was what my spine was used to. If you are in general low on energy then your hormones are fucked. If they were not fucked you would have plenty of energy and motivation to do shit, because that's the natural state every healthy human being should be in.
