I have a different take on the situation. I think he's still her friend but he's only a friend now. The difference is that before she was getting the girlfriend treatment, and now that he knows that's off the table He's perfectly fine remaining just a friend.

Cities are great when the system is fully operational, but don't allow for people to be self sufficient. I'd argue that is intentional. Look at texas and oregon. People are freezing and dying because the system isn't operating at 100%, but a little bit of self sufficency like having a generator would go a long way. Years ago in highschool sex ed they covered the whole herpes stat thing, they were able to be more honest since it wasn't a public school. Girls in their teens and early 20s tend to sleep around with older men (mid/late 20s) because boys their age are seen as low value.
