I'm 25 years old. Since I was a kid I had a very gummy smile, receding chin, crooked teeth, and a horrible case of white spots example (I got those white spots from my father, but my case was way worse). I was constantly bullied for my teeth through out my teen hood(I had various nicknames like Vampire, Hunchback etc.) which made me depressed which in turn made me stress eat desserts and not care about my dental hygiene. My teeth became yellow which made the white spots even more noticeable. In my entire life, I have had 0, literally zero, photos where I have had an open mouthed smile, and I've always forced myself to smile with a closed mouth whenever I was talking to my friends. When the pandemic started and everyone was forced to wear masks, it has been a very bittersweet moment for me of being able to just laugh with people with an open mouth because my mask was hiding my teeth. Anyway, something big happened, I've always been into stocks, and in January I invested my life savings (30k) into Gamestop, I made $140 000. I'm planning to reinvest them for a bit into something else to make more, and then take some out to fix my teeth.

I feel like it's going to be a bittersweet moment. On one side I will gain more confidence, on the other, I feel like I will start attracting women that didn't find me attractive because of my teeth before. Those thoughts make me feel slightly dystopian.

Anyway, I just wanted to be heard. I hope you're having a good day.

P.S. I'm not a native speaker, hopefully my English wasn't that awkward.
