I totally agree. I was using alcohol as a crutch and it actually made me forget all that I've learned about the better way to do approach. But as my first time out, it was a good learning experience. As far as approaching non-attractive women, again, I'm just starting and have to start some where. But I do agree that I shouldn't be out to hurt people so I can learn. Thank you, friend. To be honest this throwaway really hurt my feelings. It took so much inner strength for me to both go out like that and also to post here. If it seemed creepy, it's good to hear to help me correct but throwaway's comment was dismissive and damaging. Your comment on the other hand gives me pride, confidence, and hope! Solid critiques. I guess this comes with practice. I know I should DHV, disqualify myself, qualify her, false time constraint but in the moment I had trouble remembering all of those tactics.
