Funny, I never said anything you're suggesting. I never said a person is owed attention. I will say that (civil) society has a way of cultivating a certain standard of social manners as a sense of decency and perhaps even politeness and this falls in the disrespectful side. Saying "thank you" if someone were to do something for you. Saying "please" if you'd like something from someone. Saying "no thanks" instead of a cold paper card with an advertisement on it if you would not like to give your …

Wow that's exactly word-for-word what I say and think! I also don't like feedback, man you really called me out!

I agree with you, it's fucking stupid. No one should be treated that way by being handed a card upon rejection. If anything, it's discouraging.

You've missed the point entirely. It's not that women can't write about their opinions, it's that this is: 1) Extremely rude when you're given a piece of paper instead of (or even in addition to) actual words. It's just disrespectful and plain ol' bad manners. 2) A tacky marketing ploy by this site that insults (by way of the point above) its own community. 3) Only filled with negative evaluation, it's not really helpful even by one bit. It does a disservice to the guy and he is only being adver…

What opener(s) do you use?

If I had those resources I'd be confident enough to do it, especially in an environment like that where everyone is already looking to party and unified by the santa theme (easy openings). Since I don't, I have no value and nothing to offer so I won't. But I get what you mean.. as for the situation I described, yea, I just didn't have anything to say and felt the creep vibe if I did anything. I mean I've done it without being prepared before but it's usually always (if not just simply always) cr…

I dunno man.. I'm not a charming guy or a talker who can bullshit and come up with things to say on the spot. That goes with the whole attitude bit too because I'm too pussy to say/do anything. Just today I fucked up by not approaching this girl on the street. Only after I pretty much lost her did I start coming up with something relevant to say to her that wouldn't have seemed too creepy and perhaps would have led to conversation. Only after. And boy do I regret it, regretted it all day. Though…

How many in total or recently? Recently I'd say maybe 10 give or take? Since it's been so anxiety-inducing and a big headfuck for me to even initiate, as stated in my original comment, I don't do it in big lots but only because I'm a wuss. I'll get too nervous and abort a lot of the time so I manage maybe one or two in one time. I've gotten incredibly lucky/successful a couple times (incredibly hot girl #close or F-close same night). Other times I've crashed and burned (either terribly so and re…

Hey, I kind of have another question. Do you generally keep the interaction going even though there is no initial sense of attraction or interest from the girl? Or do you sort of quit while you're ahead? If you do the latter, it might save you face and some integrity and you'll feel better leaving since it seemed fruitless and you didn't make a total fool of yourself (maybe just partial). Or you might feel regret that you didn't try hard enough..? So which do you do?

my throat was closing very slightly, I was nervous in my speech and clumsy in my movements. This is me all the time when it comes to approaching. Approach anxiety, I guess? I have this all the time, especially anything to do with public performance of any type, be it professional or simply with friends - I choke up. So when it comes to women, I choke up and my heart starts beating real fast, my mind thinks all these negative things.. literally just a few seconds away from my actual approach and …

Thank you, I just have to get over the fear of rejection and potential embarrassment I guess. Sometimes I even come so close to approaching and then just at the last second, I back off and pretend I'm checking my phone or looking at a menu outside a restaurant. Just can't get over the stumbling block.. mainly because it's like I know that if I do, I'll end up just stumbling through my words. Especially in situations like the ones I mentioned where I don't even have any words at all since it's to…

Hmm I see. So something direct and to the point I guess? But what's the "who are you" question for though? And why day vs night? I actually did something like the first line a few months back and it didn't work out. I said something along those lines to her like "Hi, you're really cute, what's your name?" It was a sunny bright day so she had to look at me more intently to see my face and I think she looked me up and down a bit and then just turned back around to the original direction she was fa…

Oh man... I was afraid of that kind of pressure.. Seriously though, what the hell can you even say in that situation? You don't know her at all, there is no context really, and it's so sudden. What could you possibly say to anyone in that scenario, let alone an attractive girl you want to not make a fool out of yourself in front of? Can you give examples from your own experience regarding this?

Hey, hope you're still answering questions. Thanks for doing this. My question is pretty simple but it's a real challenge for me, even going as far as me just obsessing on it. I'll just see an attractive girl while I'm walking down the street and I'm stunned as to what to do. This could be either with enough time to notice them and have done something or I'm caught completely be surprise (most of the time) and wonder what I could have done. For the latter, even if I'm caught by surprise, I could…
