Agreed. If you want to gift a massage, most good spas will have a gift voucher for that.

It's same as giving shelter to a snake. It will come back and bite you. Also reminder to never choose a man who is not of equal or more standing than you in terms of money, education, looks all of it. Go for the very best, because even if they leave, you won't feel as used. This guy basically asking for validation that he is not a bad man when he is actually pure evil. Wasted years of that woman's life. And I seriously don't get it, a brilliant woman with a rocking career, why on earth would she…

Why is love friendship teamwork more apt for women?

Men are born with this sense of entitlement. I don't know why and how. It's shocking how almost every man will think of himself as some Tony Stark but do women really think about themselves as Disney princesses, the percentage would be really low even if it were true. Also this entire social conditioning that men are the main characters in life, women are here just to support and cater to their needs is just obnoxious. My life has the same value as any man, I am not here to play second fiddle to…

If you stop all communication with him right away, he will come crawling back. That is my assumption. But any man who makes you a mess - not in a good way, needs to be dumped in a waste bin. And close the lid tight.

I know so many things pass in the name of 'kink'. But if u need to choke, piss, spit, humiliate anyone to get pleasure, then that just spells psychopath to me. People like this need to be in prison.

If this is the majority, if most men lack basic ethics and a conscience, I wonder if it's even worth looking for a man. It's like going to find a needle in a haystack - rather in the universe.

Every woman should know this.

This is gold and should be on a poster. Couldn't be more accurate. And this is exactly what keeps pushing women to the back - attaching importance to male validation, when literally it does nothing for them.

Most of the times it's plain silly, since they feel they are kind of close to these men with truckloads of money and false ego but they hardly have any success to speak of. It's some kind of syndrome where they have a grandiose view of themselves and are usually absolutely not worth anyone's time.

Why would any woman let themselves be abused like this. This isn't being liberal it's just letting yourself be used and oppressed. Posts like this make me hate men.

The entire outlook on sex that men have is disgusting. How do they see it as some kind of a sport/ conquest is beyond me. I wish more women call out this rotten behaviour as and when we see it, whether it be objectifying a woman or gloating about sexual encounters. Call it out till they are ashamed.

I totally get that. My comment was more in the line of a single woman wanting to have her own child, which is not what the post is about. So my comment was inappropriate wrt post.

The entitlement in brown men is just infuriating. Mostly because of getting babied by their mothers when they are grown ass. We call it the 'raja beta syndrome'. Guy feels like a king even when he is genuinely a POS.

100% yes. This message should reach every young girl in the world. Never to prioritise romantic relationships over your self growth and education. I felt like a loser in college just because I did not have a boyfriend. I was made to feel that way by even some who I considered to be my friends. Years later, most of these friends who invested most of their time on their relationships do not have much of a career. It's a trap and best to completely avoid till you are confident about yourself and a …

Thank you :). It was long back. Fortunately the only thing I remember now is how supportive my girlfriends were during that time and how much fun we had together 🙂. I hardly remember the one month or so I would sleep crying. I also worked very hard on my goals post this relationship and ended up a much happier person than I was before.

Unfortunately a guy could say all this and still turn out to be wrong. I had an ex who did all of this and worshipped the ground I walked on. Every friend I had would say he was a great catch. I felt happy and secure with him. Yet the same guy dumped me after 3.5 years with no explanation and ghosted me. I came to know later that he married someone for money and moved out of the country. So unfortunately nothing guarantees an HVM for life. They can date and cheat, marry and cheat as well. Self p…

Why do men think they have a right to have sex anywhere they please, whenever they want - that should be illegal. If your urge is that uncontrollable just stay in your basement. Scientists go to space as well, never heard such rubbish from them though.

I could never be with a guy who doesn't care about my goals and ambitions and wants me to sit home like some accessory - no matter how rich/kind/great he is. It just shows he doesn't really have any respect for your wants and needs.

The absolute worst is when it's done by men who are very close to you. The hottest girl in our college had one close male friend. He would make up nasty stories about her and tell everyone he could get her to bed whenever he wanted. This was a "joke" that even girls used to laugh at. I found it really sick. Same goes for any attractive woman at work with a mind of her own. And after all this men have the guts to say women gossip too much. Yes women gossip but it's hardly ever sexual, degrading r…

Men: pester you like crazy, shower you with gifts and compliments, chase you for days, get you interested, finally manage to get close, talk about commitment, promise you the moon and stars, sleep with you or whatever it is they are after and then call themselves PLAYERS, boast about their SCORE. Dude, you sweat your ass off, lied and cheated to sleep with someone - because.otherwise you would get nobody. You are a dumb liar not a player. Hell yes! This is ingrained in us from childhood as if men are absolutely necessary for our happiness. So not true. I have grown up watching dissatisfied grumpy women. I had friends whose entire lives revolved around men and most of them are no disillusioned. Why are we fed this bullshit! I would have saved so much energy, so much time and reached such heights if I did not believe in this idiocy.

In India we have terms for this: 'good girl', 'simple girl', 'homely' which all basically mean : you are a doormat and we love that because we can walk all over you.

All such people who talk about rape so casually or justify rape in any form or manner are potential/closet rapists. They are just an opportunity away from doing it.

This. Most men are delusional. I have seen so many average to below average guys comparing themselves to celebrities, scientists and what not. Really makes me wonder where it comes from and why they can possibly think they are such a great catch. Offcourse pickmes and women who behave like doormats only add to this delusion. I have seen several women around me worshipping the ground their partners walk on although they hardly put any effort or have anything going for them.

That's good to hear. But has he been in India for long? Indians raised elsewhere will obviously grow up in a different culture. In India this would totally be an exception.

Precisely. Being alone hurts mostly around festivals or special occasions and that's temporary. Being in a bad relationship literally sucks life out of you. The suffocation is real.

Had very low self esteem. Parents were together but never on good terms fighting, cursing , hitting each other but still together for the "sake of their children". I felt a good man would be my knight in shining armour and take me away from all of it. Trusted anyone who paid me attention or complimented me. Absolutely no vetting, no lowest level set for the man's looks, education or IQ. In fact I always thought good looking men were above my league although I realised later I am rather good look…

In a way it is better to distance yourself a little if possible when you have already tried to talk sense but it didn't work. I have a very close cousin who still does every single thing for her husband, including his laundry and putting out and arranging his clothes for work. He does zero house work and does not pay her any attention. I have tried to hold the mirror however every time she gets defensive, says things like 'he is too sloppy for housework' or 'I don't like people who are overly ca…

The truth! Every religion I know of makes it a point to make women submit. Quite sure women and their power in the earlier days must have scared men sh*tless and finally they sat down to write huge books dictating how 'good' women should behave.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/08/20 06:34 AM

From my experience, men also hate women who they know are above their league. I have heard several men bad-mouthing, saying derogatory things about the hottest girl at college with no specific reason. Seen the same trend at work. Rejection is a nightmare. When I rejected the advances from a long-time friend, he said horrible lies about me to our common friends. Women get rejected too, but I don't think they would ever react in such psychotic ways.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/08/20 05:19 AM

This. I don't consider sex as a commodity that women "give". It's to enjoy. And marriage without sex first is like diving in blind. A lot depends on sexual chemistry especially if you have a healthy sex drive.

Years back when I was around 16, my cousin's son who was about 10 - groped my breasts at a housewarming party. I was shocked. Earlier that day, most of the other kids were ignoring him and also warned me a few times that he is a weirdo. I had no idea he would do something like this. Apparently his parents were aware of his behaviour. I haven't met him in years but it's quite possible he grew up to be a perv.
