No need, I have no problem leaving you the last word here. Thanks for the nice discussion and have a nice day!

Yes, you should learn from your experiences. And yes, I wouldn't call it atypical. And yes, more self-confidence is good. But what does this all have to do with what I said? Only people who don't have much in the first place are afraid of "[giving] away too much of yourself". And only people who are weak are afraid of "[putting] too much of yourself out there". And well, that's exactly the reason for so many unhappy campers here that they don't understand or don't want to see that women aren't t…

I just meant that calling people "material" is not right.

No, look at the rules again: The rules don't allow calling somebody "beta" as you did. Calling someone "alpha" as I did is no problem.

And I guess I'm like The Donald: I don't have a fully worked out strategy here, just tell my thoughts and say what is right! Knowing that I'm standing in for the right people! And I don't mind calling out some misogynic losers on the way. If someone has a problem with that it's not my problem. But my question to you stands: What I'm saying, it is pro-RP or anti-RP? For example, is degrading women by calling them "plate material" RP or anti-RP? Is calling out people for such misogyny RP or anti-R…

The women driving was an analogy. And may I quote the reddit rules here? "Calling members 'beta' or 'bitch' brings the level of discourse down to preadolescent schoolyard bickering." Thank you for your understanding. And yes, I stumbled into red-pill territory, and yes I deliberately didn't check my NAWALT at the door. Have a nice day!

That sounds all good to me. Adding that I for me it wasn't so much the word "plating", but "material". Well, it definitely isn't my mission of my life to discuss here. But for now - frankly - it is fun and feels good to stand up for the right thing.

Maybe "standing up" was a little but strong to trigger a response. So let me rephrase it in the following way: I think it is important to know what is right and what is wrong. That "plate material" is wrong is not just a subjective morality. When to speak out or not depends on the person and situation, which is completely fine. (And by the way, and as far as I understand it my view is exactly in line with the red-pill philosophy described in the sidebar. I'm quite sure I read somewhere to be res…

Thanks for your nice proposal, but no thanks. I - and far most women - just don't have a high opinion of people who think they have boost their own standing by using such words about others. And didn't I even read somewhere in the sidebar about being respectful?

BTW, I guess the reason why I jumped into that debate is that I made a similar experience than you. And I never felt weak or so. Just hopeless in love. Well, that's life. And I never had the feeling that it took something away from me or let other people think less of me. In contrary. I think what I did was cool (including the silly things I did), and overall (unfortunately) many people envy me for various reasons.

Yes, got it know. Sounds all cool to me!

Well, I'm just posting what is right. You can tell me if it is RP opposing or pro-RP. For example, is degrading women by calling them "plate material" RP or anti-RP? Is calling out people for such misogyny RP or anti-RP? I mean that question seriously! Why am I here? The same as many others: Share experience from life. And I think the experience and conclusions I can share are good ones.

Nothing happens. It's still your passion. Passion is the energy driving you, giving you the energy to overcome various hurdles, including fear of competition. Also note that competition is not a null-sum game. For example, Apple and Google are competing and are both driven my many people having a deep passion. Are one of these groups of people loosers? Of course not! They are all people getting a lot of energy out of their passion! That's cool!

Let me tell you that those kind of women who do not fall into the category you are describing are DEFINITELY NOT very few. In contrary, all women I know don't fall into that category. For women I know better I can tell for sure. For women I know only very loose I don't see any other indication. Yes, probably falling in love was an illusion at the end, and you had your fair share of silly momemts. But nevertheless, only by risking you can get big rewards. This is also true for opening yourself an…

Hey, I don't want to encourage him to over-do it. But yes, I want to encourage him to be not ashamed of that. Isn't a strong self-confidence the goal of getting an alpha? And yes, falling in love is something good. Ideally not exactly the story he experienced, but nevertheless. And way better than this world-view many have here. Maybe she played games, maybe not, maybe sometimes. Live is complex. And you weren't there. And yes, I can definitely tell you, exactly based on his store, there are rea…

Sorry, but this "emasculating" stuff is bs. In contrary, to use an analogy, men who always insist on driving the car and refuse sitting next to women driving them are not "on the pedestal", but obviously have a lack of self-confidence. The same for falling in love. Yes, he hunted a unicorn. But hey, that's over now and part of your past. And really nothing to ashamed of. Trying to shame somebody for falling in love is a typical behavior of a wannabe alpha. It's obvious that you don't have a comp…

Well, this are nice words, but what do you think about people here calling women "plate material" or having different morality standards for men and women? Are you red-pill alpha enough to stand up against such people? That's not a rhetorical question, but I'm seriously interested.

Not to trigger a discussion about that, but you sound to me like someone thinking about things, which is a good thing, but not having insecurities.

Sorry, but you are the one who should read the sidebar material first and learn to not degrade others. Like calling people "material". Yes, to use your term, this makes me vomit at you. You just get back what you are spilling out. And what you call a "vastly different" strategy is simply misogyny, and this doesn't make you "bf material" for far most women out there. Sleeping with a girl while knowing she has a bf is good character trait and "bf material", but she cheating a bad character trait.

To your first sentence: Wow, I'm impressed by your strong alpha behavior! I know now how beta I am. To your second sentence: Using deprecating terms like "chick" or "gf material" show your own insecurities. Again to your second sentence: You can't tell, I can't tell, because we don't know her. You seem to judge quickly without really knowing. Let me do the same: Based on the character you are showing, you looser are not bf material. Have a nice day!

First, AWALT is bullshit. Don't imprison yourself into a small world where this may be true. Secondly, not only didn't you do anything wrong, but you did a lot of good things. Nothing to regret or be ashamed of. Thirdly, life is colorful and complex, people are complex, it may be complicated between her and you and, you may be simply not made for each other, without this being anyone's fault. Forth, while everyone has flaws and bad moments, overall she seems to be a nice girl. So maybe you can b…

Existence is following your passion. (And by the way, well, how to say, I'm quite sure that I didn't loose.) (And by the way again, people who see the existence as competition are usually people who feel as looser in that competition - the reason why this reddit exists in the first place.)

Sometimes it's really fun to read about the mental world and social circles some people are living in. And that they really think that their world is the whole universe.

What a sad world you are living in: We are competing with each other, fear Chad, always push, SMV .... Maybe the world you are describing is really existing somewhere, but fortunately it is definitely not the world I live in.

Pessimistic scenario: She is playing. This would be reckless. Optimistic scenario: Maybe you getting your gf made her realize that she has feelings for you, more than for her bf, which she wasn't aware before. I can definitely tell you that this can happen. And this would be not a bad thing, but just life. That she cheated on her bf is not nice of course. But cheating takes two, right? Do you like her and would like her as gf, also despite weaknesses?

I didn't get the point why I should "know basic hand tools and some DIY" or go rock climbing. You want to imply that other passions are not equal?

Well, I think it is a pity that you say you are in an "awesome" relationship with a woman who doesn't love you for "who you are", but only for "what you do for" her, and even more sad that you think "it all makes sense". It seems that if you have lived long enough in the mentioned mud and think that the mud hole is the whole universe, you find any ray of light "awesome". Don't let the red-pill bs tell you that the mud hole is the whole universe. I wish you that you find someone who really loves …

Obviously you had oneitis. But let me also mention that reading didn't hurt at all. While such a behavior is obviously embarrassing and she made fun of you, and obviously you behaved ridiculously, it indirectly also showed some good qualities in you, for example that you are not only looking for yourself. These are qualities today's women are looking for. Get rid of the ridiculous parts of your behavior, but don't kill your deep values together with it. Real strength includes having the strength…

That's simply red-pill bullshit. First, such absolute statements about all women show the tiny size of your own world you are taking for the whole universe. And it also shows that you obviously never really got into a deeper, growing partnership. Red-pill people are digging themselves deeper and deeper into a mud hole, and are complaining more and more that the whole world is only a mud hole. So sad.

The first part is right. And you don't get a man women are interested in by trying to be a man women are interested in - all this red-pill garbage based on a silly image of women. But the idea of "leading women" is the classical red-pill bullshit which - using a red-pill term - is a childish beta behavior, that's not what most of today's women want. They want a partner they can take seriously.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/17 09:29 AM

This sounds like you are up for entering a downward spiral. "Reclaiming your manhood" and trying to control her is a childish thing which will make her loose any respect for you if there's any left in the first place. I've seen this various times. Let her go.

It's hard to really understand the situation from the outside. But I agree completely that it is wrong to "cave" just to end the fight. It looks to me that you need some distance. And it's likely that she feels the same. As long as she is not simply trying to manipulate you, but in this case some distance is even more important. But again, I haven't been there, this is just my own impression. But overall it seems to me that you are judging the situation quite well anyway.

Well, didn't you forgot the far largest "camp" which is just appreciating that "the system" is getting better fortunately? To speak some hard rel-pill truth: These rel-pill-boys are frustrated that fewer and fewer women are impressed or intimidated by men who are limited to their archaic laughable strong-man behavior. And their way of compensating their insecurity is degrading women.

That's a reasonable statement. Quite different from your original statement.

This "Masculinity Confession Booth" makes me smile, sounds like a caricature. But reading all these violence and rape fantasies here, I understand and value people who try to make the world a better place.

You can and should let her go also mentally, try to get along well with her as mother of your children - obviously she isn't a bad person, otherwise you wouldn't have married her in the first place - and be a good parent for your children. But all this without getting a red-pill-asshole - forget about thoughts like "obey" - which would start a real downward spiral in your life.

I think going bold in such a situation is a bad idea. I would do the following: If I'm sure that she's not into me I would let her go. If I'm not sure what she thinks about us I would simply ask her. I might consider wooing here actively - personally I like doing this - as long as it is clear that she likes and respects me for it. In any case, if you are not meant for each other you can be still friends if you respect and like each (as long as it's not a oneitis masquerading as friendship). If n…

Well, girls who stay in such a relationship where the "man" has do demonstrate his strength over his "little girl" are getting rarer and rarer. Which means that all these boys trying to be successful by "swallowing the red pill" are desperately fighting for a shrinking pool of women by doing even more gym and behaving even more ludicrous in their heroic competition against the presumed alphas.

It's a funny story to read, but ... no, I don't trust you ... and how should I phrase it ... you are a tiny tiny little bit overconfident about your 90% number. People making such claims shows that they present either fantasy world they may believe or not believe themselves, or live in a very tiny world they really think is the whole universe. And personally I'm quite sure that there is a strong negative correlation of such girls and the women I personally think are most interesting.
/r/TheRedPill27/03/17 11:06 PM

Well ... one thing is standing for the right thing in this situation - congratulations! I really mean this seriously. The other thing is the stupid hyperbolic conclusion of what "all women want". In fact, all all women I know want something completely different and are usually not impressed at all by man who want to demonstrate their manhood by physical strength. You may think you live in the past, but one day you will wake up in today's real world.

Well, it contains some non-sarcastic truth, ironically dragging myself a little bit into the Redbill abyss of thinking in these terms in the first place. I admire ThwarterOfFrame for her long deep honest answer. But I'm also a fan of limiting understanding to where it's really due, and redpill itself as most redpill posts are just dark and ugly really far beyond justifiable.

A self-selection bias is much less controllable than a at least somehow known subject pool. You use various scientific sounding words, but I'm really not convinced at all that you really know what you are talking about. Hm.... I see more and more that there's some truth to the Redpill umbrella: I feel like an alpha talking to a beta. But let me make clear that I don't think I'm better than you. It's just a scientific fact that some people know science and others just pretend to know science.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/17 11:23 PM

Well, it really ignores all basic principles of statistics (especially completely uncontrollable selection bias) to think that PurplePillDebate is somehow a "slightly better" sample than real scientific studies. Not seeing such differences really shows a lack of basic understanding of statistics. If you would be sitting in my exam I would give you an F for such statements. Sorry if this sounds condescending to you, but I'm just blunt here.
