Do NOT think about it. Move on. It is not your business and you cannot check her email to make yourself feel better/worse. She has her right to live her life as she wishes from now on, as do you my friend.

I am so happy for you! My wife went through years and years of treatment. She is a good person, i love the goodness in her. We just can't deal with the emotional load she caused when she was still destructive. She still sees black or white, and has become over-defensive (walls are up, no emotional contact) instead of aggressiveand spiteful. You and my wife have accomplished what i wish every pwBPD out there would aim for. I wish proper treatment was more accessible from the start. Toss me a PM i…

I am unsure whether it works for EU people.

New hobbies yes! pwBPD utterly destroy you, if you're vulnerable already, seeking love and praise. I grew up raised by a single alcoholic mother who only made me feel guilt. When a pwBPD gave me praise, made me feel like an IDOL, I fell for it. Never again.

I also wish I had a set of good friends, friends who see nothing weird about a man speaking of his core feelings.

I wish you nothing but strength and a better future. You've had to deal with someone who's not good for you (or stable). I hope you and I will remember in the future the kind of people we wish to avoid. I hope you can see the red flags right from the beginning. I did, she sought help, but still she destroyed me.

Most of men don't have to deal with BPD.

I think fuck life because I think life as a whole is a joke. We get here via countless accidents and such just to suffer. Why take it seriously?

I also read that book. I told my wife to see a doctor. She was diagnosed a year after. I originally got an idea of what i was dealing with after someone with experience in these things told me my story sounded too familiar.

Thank you so much for sharing friend. Gives me hope! I dodged a bullet not having children with her, i really did and your story makes me feel like i've been really lucky. I don't think i could go through custody fights with her.

I have work and school to keep me busy. But when i'm home it gets bad. I got myself a gym membership. Maybe that will help.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
