Irony is straightforward and clear. It just adds a note of derision or makes multiple statements. But it also usually requires that the the reader have some familiarity with real literature in the language the statement is made in. Gotcha. Well I'm personally not grateful to have had my choice removed but I am grateful that I never had to go through it at an age where it was traumatic and recovery took a long time. Also, given that some people need it done medically later on in life, I'm not aware of the difference in sensation. So while I'm told that I'm missing something, I don't really have any point of comparison and I am satisfied with the amount of sensation that I do have.

Well, no, not really. It's just that, on occasion, a girl will drink enough alcohol that her inhibitions are low enough to have sex with someone that she wouldn't have normally had sex with. Fortunately no one has ever claimed that I raped them, but I have been in a car accidents where the other driver completely fabricated the events that lead to the accident. I had to eat an $8,000 bill on my totaled car and I was thinking that if I got one of those dashboard cams (I think I've seen them for like 300 bucks), I would have avoided paying that shit.
