I remember someone here posting in the comments a while back that DV studies from the 70's had 50/50 kill rate but now husbands kill more wives than the other way arround. The thing thats changed is now DV shelters for women are abundant nationwide and they were less common in the 70's. Is it bad that I have this weird sense of admiration for political lesbianism? I've had myself thinking word for word, a gender flipped version of the quote above at times. Its the only way I can see to fix the current dating struggles we have, and I don't see us ever getting DV resources unless we force it to be women's issue as well. sadly I gotta disagree. If you go long enough actually being alone, like no or next to no human contact alone, you'll be in enough pain to start hallucinating. Having been both alone and around people who make you feel lonely.... they are nowhere close to comparable.

I would just start listing off ways men are systemically oppressed, such as police violence, higher sentences for the same crime, less likely to pass high school and get into collage, the fact that is you look into any schools iss room it will be majority male, good chance of being all male, the fact that the CDC counts rape and "made to penetrate" as different statistics deliberately hiding how common male rape is, etc.
