4	Canada is ONLY providing monetary support only to women and children shelters. These receive the most funding from government and local support. They do not accept or include adult men in any of these locations. 24% of non fatal domestic victims in Canada are men, at least some support would help... 3	Alberta has a young male unemployment rate of 20%, double that of young women. I believe the Employment Equity act, which mandates discrimination of male employees, is a major factor. I believe a lot of this unemployment gap can be explained by the inverse of the wage gap argument: males are underrepresented in the retail and service sectors because of the job choices young men make. The fastest job growth in Alberta in the past two years has been the service industry. The trades are doing okay but those historically typical O&G entry level jobs have cratered. 1	Fathers change diapers too. Back when my kids were infants, I publically changed them in the most awkward for everybody else places. Pool tables, bar tops, supermarket floors, church pews, etc...
