Not as much as you think. After about 100k a year the returns are very diminishing, and can even work against you once you pass 250k/yr unless you’re quiet about your money, and have control of your time.

This isn’t true. Inflation and interest rates have an inverse relationship and low interest rates benefit the average person. I’m not going to spend my time reading walls of text from an article you didn’t write, because there are just as many articles that exist that say inflation is necessary and deflation is bad. If you want to sum it up in a reddit comment go for it.

This isn’t a drawback actually. If this wasn’t possible there wouldn’t have been enough cash in the banking system during the covid crash and we would have spiraled out of control. The money the federal reserve prints “arbitrarily” is secured debt with a low shelf life. That money will not be in the financial system in x amount of days/months. Any time we actually print money to spend (not loan) it needs full congressional approval which is by definition not a “handful” of politicians. Venezuela…
