I'm on the left. The problem is most other people on the left are treating the 'patriarchy' (men) as the villain, when in reality the villain is capitalism. I suspect this has been done on purpose through propaganda to stop another french revolution from happening.

The 'villain' of the left is supposed to be capitalism. For some reason, for many on the left the 'villain' has become the 'patriarchy' (or in other words: men). The men that are being driven to the right are doing so because theyre being pushed away by these anti-men lefties.

I wonder if theres a way to do a test to see if someone really does have the brainwaves of the wrong sex from what their body is before putting them through HRT.

I wasnt replying to OP though, I was responding to the comment which said a lot of industries are dominated by men which are being pushed aside by women entering the space. I merely compared and contrasted a similar situation where the opposite was true.

The opposite is actually true of the film industry in a way. Most of the early filmmakers /directors were women - this is in the 1910s + 1920s. Film directing at that time was actually seen as more of a womens job, before men started taking over the space.

I dont understand. My beliefs and ideals very much align with the left, politically. I've been subscribed to mensrights for a long time also. As far as I was aware, left-leaning politics tends to care about others and society in general (of which men make up 50% of), whereas right-leaning politics is a lot more self-centered in-it-for yourself. In what way does caring about mens rights as well as womens rights seem shocking coming from a leftie?

The thing is though, is when people commit crimes and do horrendous psychopathic shit, we put them in a trial and then sentence them accordingly. There are people in this country that have done some truly sick vile shit, that are serving their punishment in prison. When you start punishing people by removing their citizenship it sets a dangerous precedent and a potential slippery slope. Remember, in nazi germany one of the first things they started doing was removing citizenship from people. The…

When you hear them laughing you can definitely see people in the audience that arent laughing and actually look horrified. Those are probably the ones that clap.

In the same way that most homophobes are secretly gay, most feminists are secretly sexist.

Just because it's consensual doesn't mean it's legal. If you have sex with a 12 year old it's illegal.

What do you mean. Isn't it always the mans fault when the woman cheats on him?
/r/MensRights13/07/15 06:14 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
