And I was seeing her 3-4 times a week until the last week. I think that fucked me over, too, because when it stopped, she stopped feeling it.

Thank you. I let her trick me into chasing her. I fell for her. I did demonstrate other options but I wasn't elusive. For all her 30 partners she said I was the best, if I can believe her. I stopped being mysterious and ambiguous and I think that's what killed it. Bah. I really liked her. Totally bummed now.

I just mean you should pick something you find amusing right now and dive into it. It can be a skill, a cause, or just something everyday that you like doing. Here a…

Thanks! I almost didn't post - it took me so long to come around - but I thought it was important to show that you can swallow the pill even after many, many years, with (mostly) success.

Going through the anger phase, I wrote down everything. It helped me process my emotions and release them in a positive, non-destructive way. I second this. Journaling, in a sense, helps me get over Hippy Girl. In the first couple weeks I wrote about what went wrong, what she did wrong that I tolerated, what I did wrong that I need to watch for. After some time passed I chilled out, but when the anger flares up, I still write it down. A couple months after we broke up, I wanted to text her, but …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
