There's no reason this should have any upvotes. If you want physical release do it in a controlled environment like a gym or a martial arts class.

Neither avenues are really shortcuts. You'll only have success in either if you "deserve" it. Some are more efficient for some is all.

Definitely. I used to not think so but I would get bored sitting alone at home when friends wanted to stay in on a Friday. Though I also dreaded the "are you here solo?" question in lieu of meeting a girl. I decided dealing with that shit test was better than jacking myself off. Eventually I got comfortable with the idea of going out solo and it started becoming preferable as I could really focus in one who I want to talk to without considering any of the variables my friends induced by their co…

The byproducts of lifting will manifest when you're balls deep in a girl you just met and she is getting off on grabbing up on your rock hard body, telling you that you're hot as fuck and that she's going to cum. This was not normal for me until after hitting the gym. Until you experience the difference that a great body can make in a woman's attraction, it will never "seeeem" like they care because you haven't had a chance to really see it.

When you say people self medicate what does that typically look like?

You should be providing examples from the book rather than telling us to take your word for how great it is

Not sure how old you are but I would avoid coffee and daytime dates in general. If you can do evening drinks instead that has a much more sexual tone which is good for screening those not interested in being more than friends as well as allowing you to better express your intentions; which is attractive.

Sorry about the flake dude. It happens to everyone. My takeaway for next time would be to not set up date #2 right after the first date. Hit her up a week or so later. You need to give her time to think about how she feels about you and date #1. Her uncertainty about how you feel about her will cause her to think about that even more. You didn't leave any room for uncertainty.

I understand the calculation but the title that comes with it - "expert" - how was it determined that 1460 hours of work makes one an expert? Does the book distinguish experts via 1460 hours?

where did you get the 1460 hours to expertise number? does Outliers explicitly state this? i haven't heard this number before.

What are the first few sentences of your exchange when you stop a girl? I typically go with "Hi. I'm sillysally09." She responds with her name, usually a bit confusedly, while I shake her hand. I respond with "this is a bit random but I thought you were cute and wanted to say hi." I improvise from there. Curious to see if you have different ice breaking lines that you like using.

it can be. plenty of quality guys around though if you command respect. and keeping friends around who don't respect you won't warrant that ability.

I wouldn't say it's an overreaction. I've dropped a friend who went for a chick I had recently stopped seeing without giving me a heads up and never looked back. Your friends don't respect you.

I realized I had a durex laying around in my drawer. I did a comparison to that and a regular Trojan and the difference was night and day. If only I'd known sooner lol

You're right about the power dynamic leaning in her favor. Part of me wants to try again just to even out the ego hit and see if last time was a fluke. Although it would heal just as well from performing with a condom on with a new chick, I'm a bit anxious about fucking up with two chicks in a row. Almost to the point that hitting up the ex-plate just to practice with a condom on sounds like an option. Not a great one but an option nonetheless.

yeah it was a bit reckless. I intend to avoid doing that going forward.

You're doing a good job of removing your approach anxiety through desensitization. It sounds like you're still ruling yourself out too early though. After 6-7 mins of talking I said..."Hey it was nice chatting with you... Not sure why you excuse yourself to leave here? Interact with her until you are compelled by something other than your discomfort to leave. e.g. she excuses herself, asks you to leave, or you are bored. Keep the conversation playful, touch her arm as you validate something she …

Paying for sex can also condition you to not put pussy on a pedestal. I disagree. It may lower the height of the pedestal upon which you had previously placed pussy, but the act of paying for a good alone says that your intangible assets alone are not worth what the pussy is worth, which is en effect placing it on a pedestal that stands taller than you.

by the time I had started paying for pussy I had already fucked a couple dozen hot women through game I would say this post isn't meant for such cases. You wouldn't suffer the type of cognitive dissonance someone who's had less than a handful of different lays in his life and has been paying for sex after consistent droughts would.

Paying ... builds your confidence I agree with your post all except for that part, which is my main argument against paying. The confidence that stems from paying is fleeting and artificial. Next time you game a girl in person after having paid for sex, you will believe from self-taught behavior that in order for the interaction to end in a lay, you will have to pay for it. This creates cognitive dissonance in which you attempt to convince yourself that it's not necessary for you to pay for sex,…
