...because men are so egotistical and rich they can afford to drop money to save a little bit of their fragile masculinity, right? Funny how this works out to be a boon for women, while simultaneously blaming the guy for it...

The feminist equivalent of "Many of my friends are black..."

The most offensive thing you can do to a woman is hold them to the same standards as men. That's the crux of third-wave feminism: the second-wave feminists wanted to be treated exactly like men but, holy shit, men are mostly treated like shit. Third-wave feminism is designed to backpedal away from the ideals of true equality, but in a way that saves face for women.

The problem is that when we talk about "male teamwork" and "female teamwork" the difference isn't so much the genders, but the "teamwork" part. We judge male and female teamwork differently - that's the problem we don't talk about, but we don't: because then that wouldn't enable the comparison as easily. It'd be apples and oranges. Women are very good on appearance. They're superficial. Their main goal, above all else, is to maintain their appearance of goodness, niceness, pleasantness - the sug…

Here's why that will happen: "HA, HA: MALES ARE TOO STUPID TO GET HELP - by the way, any male who seeks out help is a pathetic weakling misogynistic who's probably looking for a gun so he can go full Elliot Rodger."

It's the difference between thinking that steak comes from a farmer raising cattle, having them taken to the abattoir where someone kills them, someone else skins them, guts them, bones them, breaks 'em down...and thinking it comes from that styrofoam tray in the meat section of the supermarket. It's a level of distancing, of santising, of washing one's hands of the the true nature of what they're consuming. It's a very bourgeois thing to do, taking pride in distancing yourself from things like …

I see what you're getting at, although I'd disagree on a minor detail. It's not so much "casus belli" - which is a cause to act (in the literally sense, go to war) - but rather a means to get others to act on their behalf. That's the power - not in doing something themselves, but getting others to do it for them. It's more like the flop con :). You know, fall down in behind someone's car as they're backing out of a parking space, insist they pay you.

Increasing numbers of women prefer singlehood to a less-than-satisfactory relationship. Wow, what creepy little freaks. They're struggling with the fact that women no longer need a man as a matter of their very survival. Er, women are just as dependent as one men as ever. All that changed was that women now get to be ungrateful little cunts about it.

Yes, men are expected be constant, stable, and unchanging. This makes life easier for women, and changing your views and deeds is something traditionally reserved for women. Men are meant to be stable foundations.

I'm not, and never will be, your amigo. Stop trying to fish for for sympathy. It's very feminine. And unless your girlfriend killed your dog, she didn't "ask" you to show emotion. It wasn't instigated by her. I'm sure she felt uncomfortable as hell, but.

Every time a woman asks you to show more emotional, it's a trap. That's...pretty much the best way to handle it. She's not hoping for you to "open up", so she can have a more intimate connection to you, it's so she can either: a) Dispose of you. The mistake bloopers make is that "women are just like men!" and believe that, like men, women have to work hard to forge relationships with the opposite sex. This is false. The problem for women is not scarcity, but over-supply. If you say something stu…

Because when you concede that "Women are children", you drop many expectations that come with treating the person as responsible adult, many of those will probably end up being unrealistic. As such, if the person doesn't live up to those expectations, you are no longer angry at them for failing to do so. This works fine... ...if you work in a sausagefest industry like most redpillers - coughSTEMcough. For those of us who work with women, this doesn't help.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/17 12:58 PM

And when do men stop (usually) displays of emotion? Yes that’s right, when they’re children. And if a man displays emotion as an adult, what do women call him? A manchild!

Indeed! She is expecting men to be mind readers - and that is just impossible Again, it's the "universal husband" mentality: that all men must act how they'd expect their ideal husband to act - always know what makes her happy, what makes her uncomfortable, and act on them accordingly, unbidden. If there were a male equivalent of list (that was allowed to be published) with equivalent levels of sexism, it would probably consist of "Don't get angry if he says you have nice tits", "Instead of roll…

The vast majority of feminism that attracts the popular discourse is the white, middle-to-upper class sort of feminism that's desperately embarrassed and ashamed that it's... ...white and upper class. The core problem with TBP is that it's whole philosophy is based on the bullshit idea of: Inside ever man there's a woman waiting to get out. And inside every woman there's a man waiting to get out. No, I don't mean in the transgender sense. I mean it insists on applying feminine solutions or practices to male problems, and if men just, gosh, acted just like girls, the everything would be fine for the men, but, gee whiz, because men are too bullheaded and toxic and dumb and act like men, this is…

I imagine the most common redditor is: White. Young - we're talking teens to maybe early twenties. American. Suburban. Male. /r/PurplePillDebate04/10/17 08:22 PM

I agree. And there's a reason why women hate MGTOW-types even more than RPers or misogynists or douchebags or fuckboys... ...because even if men can't get a date, women dictate they must still try, and if men don't do that, it takes away women's power. That's what they're afraid of. That's how women get along in life, whether consciously or unconsciously: off the backs of men wanting to sleep with them. Men must constantly try to please women in an attempt to get sex from them.

Then why is MarriedRedPill full of it? Why is TRP full of it? Yup. Women use niceness as a weapon. Friendship isn't friendship in the way men think of it - for women, it's a battlefield, a boxing ring, a means to establish dominance. (This, by the way, is why women shit on "nice guys" so much: for the same reason India didn't want Pakistan getting nukes...but I digress.) It's virtue signalling - virtue signalling is an inherently feminine trait, since women aren't direct. They have to hint and imply their successes without openly stating them. A "nice home…

Slut shaming is mostly done by women. Whining about it is a classic example of women blaming shitty female behaviour exclusively on men so that men fix the problem for the women... ...or, better yet, take all the blame for it and deflect any negative attention away from women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/17 10:55 AM

Women don't attack problems directly; rather, they create circumstances where the problem gets fixed by someone else and can't be blamed on them, or try to set it it up that if a problem does occur it can't be traced to them. I think it's a bigger deal than one might think if a guy has any sense of identity about being on the right side of womens' issues. If that's the case then that sort of thing is just a straight up attack on someone's identity. Remember: male feminists only exist at the plea…

It's rather ironic: deriding men for a lack of sensitivity to friendships by deriding their lack of sensitivity to friendships. Which just proves how hilariously feminised blooper boys are: "Women don't work on themselves. They work on the competition." Bloopers think the only chance they'll ever get their dick wet is if literally every other male on the stops competing with them, and they desperately try to encourage it.

I think some girl magazines used that word and it stuck, but I don't think it's truly applicable. Toxic women deflect their own toxic behaviours by assigning them to men. This makes men take the blame for these when people notice these behaviours... ...as well as preventing men from behaving like that themselves. Men pay more taxes, women receive more benefits from the government. Men work more (feminists say so themselves...), doing more jobs that keep society running - and are often vital and unpleasant. Men are more likely to be police officers, soldiers, airmen, welders, miners, salmon gutters. Men still pay for your dates, put money down, with no obligation on your part. Females do not "need" males anymore, and males want to be needed, now they have to adjust, that is the main part of the equation. Actually, all that's changed is that the benefits women get from men are now less directly attributable to men. All feminism's done is construct clearing-houses, like a drug dealer setting up money laundering, to sanitise the "male" off of the male labour women benefit from. Now women don't have to admit the benefits they get come from men.

If you want to game, do your own thing, and sacrifice a relationship for that then go ahead. You're basing your petty little rants on the false premise that "gaming", "doing your own thing", and "relationships" are mutually exclusive. I worry for you. /r/PurplePillDebate20/09/17 12:35 PM

The "games are childish - grow up, manchildren!" comes from the shitty, outdated gender role that a man who has interests beyond work or family or that he can participate in by himself is somehow broken, and failing to contribute to society. Gaming is just the most visible form of this. It's interesting to note that anything involving solitary men is almost always derided as weird, creepy, or just plain sad.

Hmm... what's been happening since 1970? Hmmm... ...we introduce a group of people who aren't obligated to work to start competing for jobs with those who ARE obligated to work, and labour rights, union participation, and wages go down, neoliberalism rises, and generally the worker gets fucked over. Geez, I wonder why?

Again, because men's role is to serve others through their efforts and labour, not themselves - preferably by supporting a family, having a prestigious job, paying taxes, etc., etc. The only thing a woman has to do is possess (or be seen to possess) a uterus. Got one of those? Then fine, you're fulfilling your role to society. "Peter Pan Syndrome" isn't a thing for women because...they don't have to do anything. At all. Just exist. Women lie all the time to each other and to men too. The problem's not with lying - the simple act of not telling the truth. The problem's with men lying, because, as established, deception is something women see as exclusively theirs, and feel threatened by men using what was previously an exclusive female privilege. Women get to deceive and coerce and manipulate; men do not. What does he do when women enjoy sex with exciting men and he is anything but? He creates a false narrative, scores a da…

How can a woman be strong, independent and able to do anything a man can do (if not better) yet be oppressed to such an extent she needs state-backed intervention to even the odds so she can compete with men? Easy: because it gets her the best of both worlds. It's the concept of "perpetual war" from 1984. Always fighting, but never winning, thus you can maintain the privileges and benefits you get for fighting...and never having to give them up.

If it was true, we wouldn't have increasing numbers of young girls committing suicide due to bullying. Question: why is it we're not meant to concern ourselves with male rape as much as a female rape because more women are raped than men, but we're meant to give equal concern to female suicide rates...? Most female suicides are done with "second chance" methods - things like overdoses on pills - where there's a chance of rescue. In other words... ...a chance someone finds them, gives them lots o…

We don't ascribe as much agency to women as we do to men. Therefore, misbehaviour by women is often ignored, disbelieve, or simply unnoticed by wider society. Conversely, society ascribes much greater agency to men, who are therefore more responsible for their actions... ...as well as being responsible for the actions of women. /r/PurplePillDebate07/09/17 09:10 PM

Exactly - especially in a non-romantic/sexual context...like in a professional context. Because women don't actively pursue romance/sex, EVERY encounter with a man is just the same as a sexual/romantic one. And they will act accordingly. Women are far, far more biased by their sexuality in a workplace environment than any man.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/17 12:14 PM
1

But why do you think they want female sexuality respected more? Favorable treatment and opportunity to use it? Exactly. It's more valuable than male sexuality, meaning men have to trade other things (ie, labour) for it, instead of their own sexuality. And, to that end, it keeps women as the gatekeepers of sex - and everything to do with sex. Sex is something that women dole out to men - IF they feel men have earned it. It's a privilege and a power. Treat male sexuality equally, and they lose tha…

You'd think that with the sexual liberation and how much women demand their sexuality to be accepted, that they'd do the same for men. At least try and extend the same understanding and compassion. Women are merciless to men they do not feel attraction to This is one of the reasons why, simply, women aren't fit to work in the same areas and industries as men. Specifically, women don't have to take responsibility for the consequences of their feelings in the moment. Because women have inherent valued (ie, are objectified), pretty much nothing they do is held to account by society. They're not expected to act or worry about actions, so it doesn't matter.

Incidentally, this is why feminists have tried to replace classism with sexism over the past forty or so years: class disparity works for them and is a privilege for them. Man are rarely able to move outside the socio-economic class they were born into, and if they do, it's only through extreme effort and sacrifice. Women? All they have to do is wrap their cunt around the right dick, and bam, they're movin' on up.

Exactly. Women are strangely quiet on this front. And don't women LIKE being mothers? Or is this one of those female privilege things where they get to pick and choose when it's a burden or a benefit? Another issue of concern is that if it benefits only a minority of men and requires the submission and suffering of the bulk of men, it is not a system that puts men ahead at the expense of women. Therefore it would not be a system benefiting men. If by definition it hurts men too, it is not a patriarchy but just another system of oppression. It's just rebranded, expanded wife-ism. I believe it was Warren Farrell who stated at the beginning of the 90s that feminists expected the state to take on the traditional role of the husband for them - protector, provider, enabler. I think that definition has now expanded to extend beyond the state - now, third-wavers believe that all should act like their husband.

Women have different definitions of "independent" to men. For men, "independent" means "I do it all myself, without receiving any form of outside help". For women, it means "I didn't specifically, directly ask for any outside help - oh, if people offer to help me and help me off their own bat, then that's nothing to do with me."

Then your next post contradicts that and says... What else would you call something that a mostly male user base? So what is it? Male space or not?

The woman would get bored with the "perfect male", because when asking to create one, she wouldn't admit to herself that her attraction requires some drama and instability to keep going, so the "perfect" wouldn't have that, it would be merely a request for what she ASKS for. Or, more accurately, women would create several men: Powerful bad boy who physically dominates her (bordering on sexual/physical abuse) with a criminal past. Insanely rich older man. Effete, probably gay, young guy she can f…

American here: who the fuck is Mansfield? Hah, yeah - exactly. She wrote a few short stories... ...but mostly, of course, our lecturers were enamoured with what she was, not what she wrote. They criticised the shit out of Hemingway's lifestyle, but spoke of Mansfield's life in awed, envious reverie. Mansfield was the daughter of the chair of the Bank of New Zealand (ie, NZ's Federal Reserve), and came from a very high-society family, who were also related to NZ's longest-serving prime minister. …

That's the gist of it. Ernest Hemingway was perhaps the greatest Modernist author in the 20th century. Literally the only thing - I'm not joking here - we were taught about him by my Modernist Lit lecturer was, and I quote: "He cheated on all his wives, was a drunk, and killed himself. Moving on." That's it. Meanwhile, Katherine Mansfield was a rich-bitch party girl Kiwi, from a very well-off family, and they never fucking shut up about her... I think this is one of the cases where being physically objectified works in women's favour: as long as they're physically a woman, welp, doesn't matter what they do. Men, who are judged more by action (because they're bodies aren't as valuable), are more closely scrutinised for how they act. Moreover, women are still seen as the social "experts" and gatekeepers - ie, correct social behaviour tends to be whatever the woman deems it to be, and men must comply. Is the woman not saying much? I think women having careers is a wonderful idea! Being a professional "activist" or "environmentalist" in the way TBP means - a kept woman, trophy wife, who blogs about her latest organic vegan quinoa recipes and retweets hashtags - is not a career. There's a weird dichotomy: The feminine aspects of porn a praised - women being empowered by their body (of course, a female body being the most feminine thing ever), making money themselves, being worshipped by men. The masculine aspects of porn are damned - this primarily means consumption of porn, that they're exploiting women, and they're deviants who have failed at their role of being masculine (being able to be in a "normal" relationship with a woman). Women are practically always trying to either control or change men in an effort to get men to support their sexual imperative. Men work on themselves; women work on the competition. A man's having problems with his relationship, he thinks "I'd better buck the hell up". A woman's having problems with her relationship, she thinks, "I'd better pull him into line. Also, I'm not going to let us go out on Friday, because that girl from his work will be there".

There are some remarkable parallels with feminine actions towards to the masculine, and good ol' fashioned 16-19th century-style colonialism: Colonialism was driven the drive for the exploitation of resources in lands occupied by other races. You just can't expect women to join your movement if it's 90% bashing women and 10% helping men. Meh, men need women a lot less than women need men - hence why women's main strategy when dealing with men is to obstruct and create interference. Can't have men getting too independent now. Men don't lose much when they turn away from women. Society does not have negative stereotypes about men. Are you fucking shitting me? Seriously, are you high? This actually makes women worse workers overall, and absolutely useless leaders and managers.

Japan also really, REALLY bases male identity on their work, to the point where you're essentially a nonperson if you don't have a job tied to a corporate entity. Hell, they didn't even have a term for "freelancer" until 2000. In the West, thankfully, there's few more opportunities to define your own identity beyond work (although male identity and value is still very much tied to work), so hopefully there's more chances to define yourself through other means.

Not to mention the "things" are specifically designed by the woman to be onerous, frustrating, and annoying to the guy just so she can make sure he's sacrificing for her because it makes her feel powerful - "Look what I can get my man to do!"

Cohort longitudinal studies show that kids have less behavioral and emotional issues when their mothers are employed. The longer the mom was out of work, the more issues kids had. So what you're saying is that the more kids are exposed to their mothers, the worse it is for them?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/17 02:59 PM
1

I don't disagree with a lot of what you posted (well some of it) but I see this stuff from a Feminist angle in that these negative behaviors are socialized into women by a Patriarchal system. I love it when feminists prove they can do anything just as well as men...except take responsibility for their bad behaviour. Then it's back 13th for them, and men not controlling the women proper!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/17 02:58 PM

Funny how you guys embrace male inferiority when it suits you and reject it when it benefits women. Funny how you shame men for using this tactic when it's the exact same thing feminists have been using for decades.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/17 02:55 PM

Victim complex and victimhood fetish, extremely common in feminist circles This is tied in with one of the key female privileges and sources of power: empowerment through victimisation. It's something uniquely feminine - no man has access to this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/17 02:50 PM

And funny that you don't get paid for it, or can get fired for it. Seriously, I'd happily marry and have kids if I could draw up an employment contract with the wife.

Why not? They're the ones in charge of the structures; it's part of having that power to use it wisely to further the goals of those structures as they see fit. If those structures were built on doing a specific thing - whether it be standing on foot for five minutes on a Tuesday or hiring people they feel best qualified for the positions based on their credentials - why should they fix what ain't broke?

We dont have intrinsic value like women do. This is where Blue Pill and Mens Lib types fail. It's the foundation of their beliefs, and it's patently wrong. Men simply aren't treated like women are, ever. End of story. A man who acts like a woman has merely signalled to everyone that he's not a man worth worrying about...and women themselves are the ones most responsible for this attitude.

I agree, but I'd also add to this by saying that's only half the equation: They want all those progressively feminist things... ...but... ...with the safety net of traditionalism they can fall back into at any time if (when?) it all goes wrong for them. What they want is a social environment where all those things are to be seen as things to strive towards, but one where the default status is that you act traditionally - thus women don't have to take any responsibility for their actions. Fuck an…

Seeing sex workers is creepy. You're buying a woman like an object and it's an insult towards yourself. You're basically saying you are so undesireable that you have to pay someone to bare the chore of having sex with you. You...you've never actually met any sex workers, have you? Hell, you've never even read any feminist literature on the stuff.

Ruthless competition is considered masculine. Yeah, and who're the people considering it? Not men. All saying this does highlights your ignorance of how men act and behave, as well as your own biases as a woman.

Empowerment through helplessness is the big one. Intrasexual competition (no man is as vicious to women as women are to women!) Judged by what they say, not what they do. Entitlement to men's labour. Social gatekeeping: the belief that they are the only ones who get to decide on how people interact. Interchangeability and disposability of males.

While the stereotype that men will fuck anything is often true, they too get more picky when they're actually looking to commit. This is the big thing, and one that often gets left out: sex does not necessarily equal relationship. They can be part of each other, connected...but don't have to be. Female sexuality is hypergamy. When women cheat, it's because they have found a superior man. That's hypergamy. Aaaand I was waiting for this. Because basically female sexuality is seen as bad without any real reason. In a relationship, sure, I understand. But who is unattached, for shame. No, it's not. but isn't that the underlying problem, ie that some women experience male attention as inherently creepy? Yes, absolutely - but somehow men are still responsible for these women's feelings and interpretations, and, more importantly, there's not much men can do once accused of being creepy, there's no way to defend against it. Gender role incongruent profiles were significantly more preferred over gender role congruent profiles. Hypothesis 2 was not supported and the results were in the opposite direction expected. This is, frankly, the exact sort of shit women would lie about. There is simply no social issue that only effects one gender. The implied threat here being that women will MAKE problems that only affect them affect men as well. Women often have entitlement issues when it comes to men's time, wealth, and love. Bingo. The "normal" practice of discussing gender issues is to - surprise, surprise - talk as if the problems that mostly only affect women are issues affecting both genders. Surprise, surprise, again: women seem to have it worse when you talk about it like that. One of the greatest tricks feminism ever pulled was talking defining, in the popular and even academic discourse, "objectification" solely to mean sexual…

By their logic, the fact that you're having sex with women a lot - and have received no backlash from it - you're not entitled, because the women you have sex with obviously want to have sex with you. It's not entitlement, because it's reciprocal. You both get what you want and both want to give what you want. It's entitlement when you feel you're owed something, without having to give something in return.

No. Women, in general, are not validated by sex. No, they're validated by what society thinks that sex implies. I think it highlights that, yes, women can have power over men - it's just not a form of power anyone's really comfortable discussing - and it can be abused. it's actually a female power fantasy: Accomplishing desires simply because one wants them done. This is a brilliant observation. We certainly can't rule out that possibility. For comparision around 33% of men in the UK have a criminal record. Nice try, trying to conflate "criminal record" with "must be a rapist".

This is how I know the movie's gaining traction. Rather than going for "THIS IS A HATE-FILLED ANTI-WOMEN HATE-FILM", which failed, now they're simply going for the "Oh, yeah, I saw it. Oh, you're thinking of seeing it? Yeah, well, I wouldn't bother, there's nothing worth seeing about it. Totally. Honest. For real" in order to hopefully deflect people away from it.

Of course, men having standards and preferences is gross to mediocre and unattractive in this case old women who want free access to the most fit and best-looking men Actually, I think this is a bit of a red herring. I think the idea that "woman have the same sexuality as men, but with the genders flipped" is a carefully-constructed defence mechanism to prevent women communicating what they REALLY find attractive. By not advertising what they want, it means men have to work harder to impress wom…

No, but it does ruin your reputation, at least in the establishment you were in. And are there any checks and balances for it, to prevent abuse? Is there are a standard that has to be met before it's invoked? What's to prevent some socially-awkward shrinking violet of a girl just making up an "I feel threatened" story because she realises she's blown the date, and rather than admit she ruined it, wants to save face? Never underestimate women's driving desire to be thought well of at all times.

The funniest part being the white knights that apparently know more about how a woman should feel than I do. I guess I got a faulty vagina because I'm happy with equality. Ahem, you mean you've just internalised the patriarchy. /s It's amazing how these white knights and feminists totally believe a woman has agency and independence...up until said woman does something they don't like.

The point that's always left out of these discussions is that it isn't men who are shaming women for their clothes. It's entirely women doing it. Do you have the slightest clue what your local female newsreader wore on any day in the last week? I certainly don't. It could also very well be argued that the fact a man's clothes aren't noticed is sexist and dehumanising towards men: no one cares about what you wear, about your personal self-expression through fashion, because your gender has been i…

Listen up, male, here's how it works: your chromosome setup mean you owe women sexual attention if and when they demand it. To have your own personal feelings that may be counter to her come into it is sexist. /s

I'm actually very, very liberal - which is precisely why I'm anti third-wave feminist. I find third-wave feminism to be disturbingly traditionalist. I suppose I align a lot with second-wave feminists - at least the sane ones, and I've met plenty of them. The ones who wanted true equality, and were willing to give up the privileges they had under traditionalism (where as third-wavers want the privileges of both traditionalism and progressivism - with none of the responsibilities).

That's because they really don't want to enter combat arms. It's just like whenever women enter any other male role. What they really want is the same level of status men get, but without having to actually do the same amount of work to get there as men. A few women passed, I think, US Army Ranger school (or it might've be USMC Infantry), and feminists cheered from the rooftoops. What really happened was that they relaxed the training incredibly compared to the male training, and even then not a…

I can see why feminists hate it, but: it's men co-opting the traditional power of women. Seduction, emotional manipulation, and sex as a weapon is not meant for men, and it's not meant to be something easily accessible by men, which is what they feel TRP does.

"Men have issues... because they can't talk about their feelings or act more like women." The number one issue for them is usually something to do with toxic masculinity, bad male psychology, or something that feminists want to change about men. Bingo. This isn't actually said out of concern for men's welfare or wellbeing, but rather used as an opportunity to "correct" male behaviour into something more appealing to women. Not only is it showing a disregard for the men in question, but also expl…

"The Patriarchy" fills the same role for feminists as the International Zionist Conspiracy does for white supremacists: it represents an intangible, but somehow plausible (in their mind), force acting against them. The lack of evidence proving such a thing actually exists is perversely used as a proof of its insidiousness, and allows people to use it as a catch-all for all their problems.
/r/MensRights24/04/17 02:08 AM

...a lot of women might see it as attractive because it could be interpreted as an indication of his status (his attractive to other women, must be a catch). This is largely true: something's only valuable to women if other's are aware of its value. It's so these women can feel good about having something other women failed to obtain; it's not so much about the man himself, but rather the fact that she managed to get this valuable male where other women failed.

Yup, it's another Trojan Horse movement that seeks to reinforce the ideal that male fulfillment only comes from either serving women, or denying your own masculinity.
