original egypt had slave/sevants which were still allowed to have familys and housing. slavery wasnt not as cruel as american slavery sought to turn a people into animals and refused to acknowledge blacks as humans which allowed them to treat us terribly. other slavers at least recognize they are the same species as the enslaved.

The percentage of black law makers is tiny in comparison to whites. Even in mostly black towns whites govern them.
