There's a whole number of reasons to avoid chicks with tattoos, it just means that they either make poor decisions or that they want to get the attention. Trashy clothes are more like skimpy shit, basically anything that when someone asked you "is she dressed adventurously" you would have to say yes.

Everyone has different coping mechanisms. A tattoo could symbolize success or a milestone, dedication to a person, an important reminder of a loved one.
Your view is: "their tattoo of their dead loved one must mean they can't get over it."
Possible other view: "this tattoo reminds me every day of all the good moments my loved one and I shared."

Tattoos are body art. It's only your opinion if you like or dislike that style of art. If you think tattoos are trashy, that statement is a valid opinion.
The real issue is the reasoning behind the tattoo. The meaning will vary too widely to be blindly speculated upon.

Tattoos have been used for millennia to signify rank, status and affiliation. Kill a man in war? Get your face tatted up to tell others who to respect. Become the chief? There’s a tat for that. Women are genetically predisposed to fuck dudes with tats because tats used to be used to signify something important.
But outside of maybe gangs, today’s tattoos mean nothing to the common pedestrian. What’s the point of a signal that nobody understands? Or the point of signaling something which has no point?
I see people with tats, and I think the same thing as when I see someone wearing wonky clothes: “what are you trying to say, and why are you trying to say it, and since I don’t understand is this really the best way for you to say it?”
Is there a point to speaking words which nobody understands? Words with meaning only to to speaker?
I’m not downvoting you; just contributing to the dialogue. I’ve considered getting ‘too’d myself, but then I wonder such things.
