Yeah mine is pretty amicable. Stressful, disagreement-filled, but amicable. Understand the selection bias of content in this sub. People don't post if things are not that interesting. And amicable is "not that interesting".

I dunno man. I've heard that the way you measure if something is forgiven, is, when you recall the event, you didn't feel yourself emotionally reacting to it. So yeah I guess it takes time, and maybe a therapist could provide tools to help get there faster. And I guess every so often, you try to remember the events and gauge how that makes you feel, and ask yourself if you see a trend? Eg, is it getting better?
