Thus may be an unpopular opinion here but I don't see a thing wrong with dating around. How can you know what works for you, if you don't have experience? Now this is based on the assumption that dating doesn't automatically mean fucking. Fucking should be reserved for serious relationships (any girl that does this is automatically higher value in my book) I didn't read the story so I have no idea if thats what she did or not, just my two cents.

So tired of these tinder "studies". Wait so your telling me that girls who use tiner, an app designed for quick easy hookups, are willing to meet up immediately with a hot model? Weird. These "studies" are full of selection bias. No im not saying nawalt, im saying that the girls who wouldn't be interested in this type of hookup don't even have tinder, thus won't give negative reponses. Take these tinder findings with a grain of salt when you try to apply the results to the overall populace.

Came straight out of school into an engineering consulting firm. No way could I make the amount of money I do by running ny own business. Not with as little real-world experience as I have now. Running a business is much harder than landing a decent job.

Saying that its click bait isn't concern trolling is it? Just giving an (in my mind, valid) observation. Thats why these blogs use such sensational language, to make money. I don't remember the rest of his comment, so I can't say about the shaming tactics

I think that most people find confidence attractive. That's where she makes a mistake though. A confident girl who is also beautiful is more attractive than an insecure one. But a confident girl who is ugly will never be beautiful.

OP have you checked out aquaponics? Very sustainable way of growing crops. Its designed for urban areas, so it might not be necessary for your location. But if it gets cold there, its be a great way to grow during winter also.

You're not bitter after you burn yourself on the stove. You don't resent it or hold a grudge, if you have half a brain you realize hot=pain. Nothing to do with bitterness.

I have a problem with the "best" situation. You say, "you're in a great position. You know at least one girl you can bang." this shows such a simplistic view of relationships, in my opinion at least. One should only be in a relationship if that person improves your quality of life. While its some consolation, I guess, having a girl to bang doesn't do the same. If you lost anything else that improved your quality of life (food, shelter, health) you would be sad. Its the same with a relationship. …

Exactly. They get so much attention that if they actually message a guy first, they must really find him desirable right? I guess there's multiple takes on it.

If you don't assert yourself, you might not be a doormat that's true. I guess your more of a nonfactor. You might not back down, but if you don't assert yourself in the first place you wont stand out either. This isn't necessarily red pill theory, more on how to be a successful person. If you don't want success and to better yourself, continue on the route you're on. But no one has ever accomplished anything without asserting themselves first. Complacency breeds boredom and the status quo. As fo…

Do what you feel like doing. Being "alpha" isn't a set course of action. Its the mentality behind the action. If you go make her soup because you want to be her knight, that's a beta mentality. If you go take care of her because YOU want to, its alpha. Don't focus on the what, focus on the why.

I agree. We all know that women hamster, lets not let TRP become "examples of hamstering". Also, I feel like a lot of the posts I've seen weren't even correct examples of hamstering.

That based on physical appearance, which we know isn't as important as other factors when were talking about female attraction (though it no doubt helps). If we are going to use the okcupid study as a reference, wouldn't using "messages sent by females to males" be a better metric of attraction?

I meant the most beautiful women, not necessarily the ones who are most innocent. Each gender aims for the highest caliber mate they can. Mens caliber is judged on the stability they can provide along with the healthiness of their genes. Women are judged on their beauty and value as a mother.

Not so much a feminist policy, as a experiment that went horribly wrong. He forced the kids to act out sex in stereotypical submissive and dominant roles... Wtf?
/r/TheRedPill11/12/13 12:21 AM

Yeah we both agree on that. No doubt women sleep with minority of men. I would like more "proof" of it than sti rates, which are correlative at best and false at worst.

So you're saying our scent is more derived from our immune system than anything? Hmm that's what my GF said. On the last piece, people look for feminine traits if they are masculine and vice versa. I think that's what I was getting at. Masculine traits are typically derived from testosterone right? So males look for women who display these feminine traits that indicate their higher levels if estrogen.

Ok here we go. For a bacterial infection to take hold, a certain amount of bacteria must enter a system. If that amount of bacteria isn't reached, the immune system will kill it and no infection will take place. Much more reproductive fluids enter a woman during sex than a man. This causes their risk of infection to be much higher because in each instance, they are more likely to succumb to infection where a man might fight it off. Like I said previously. Take two infected individuals, one male …

Did you just read that one sentence and skim the rest of what I said? You can't correlate sti rates to sexual intercourse rates. The anatomy affects probability of catching a sti and skews the numbers. I didn't deny that women go for a minority of men, I asked for a source on where the number so often quoted come from. You're arguing different points I never made.
/r/TheRedPill10/12/13 11:38 PM
10

I didn't say that. I said women have an inherently higher risk due to their biology. For example, a man and a woman( each is clean) have sex with a person of the opposite sex who is infected. The woman is more likely to come away with an infection than the male. Its not due to their choice in mates, but rather due to their anatomy. Now take the woman who is now infected. She can go one to fuck 5 more guys but each of those guy has a much smaller chance of catching what she has. But if the origin…

Well that's why I proposed it. To see if someone with more background on the subject could tell me if my thoughts had any credence to them. For most scientific theories, the idea comes before the evidence. I was hoping someone with more experience in the area could come omg and either help or hinder my idea with evidence. Saying "its a pointless idea" does neither of those things.
/r/TheRedPill10/12/13 10:57 PM

No the rates aren't proof of that at all. All the rates prove is that women are more likely to get an sti when fucking a infected male than if a male fucks an infected female. This is because less reproductive fluid, thus less bacteria, enter a mans urethra during sex. So the chance of a man getting the disease is overall lower due to his smaller "doorway". Getting an sti is a matter of probability, and the odds are in mens favor.

Very minimal hamstering. She says she felt disgusted the next morning. Obviously what she thought she wanted and what she actually wanted were two different things. AKA she made a bad decision. She's not rationalizing her actions, she did quite the opposite.

Ahh thanks for the correction, I knew I may have misquoted it. Does that rule not apply to males also? Clearly we also go for the top percentage of females. I guess it comes down to the fact that males don't have to be as picky with their mates?

But by using percentages, stats to back up the statement are inferred. Its one thing to say females go for top tier males, and another to quantify it with a percentage. I see some people have posted an okcupid study. That's a start but not nearly as scientific as I was hoping. I agree, it would be very hard, nearly impossible to set up a experiment that would test the statement. That's why I asked the question in the first place. The percentages are often thrown around here as fact but I've neve…

Its by definition heresay. If I'm telling someone else about the phenomenon but they haven't experienced it themselves, that's heresay. I didn't say I didn't believe it I asked if there were sources on it... Edit: Also, if its just a number pulled from experience, how can one come to the 20% and 80% numbers? Its one thing to say, females go for top tier males (obvious) and another to quantify it with a percentage. You need actual stats for that.
/r/TheRedPill10/12/13 09:33 PM

I mean I get it. Unfortunately heresay doesn't hold up in discussion as well as a documented source, which is what I'm looking for

And I'm sure tons of men did the same thing on black Friday. Again this has nothing to do with gender. TRP has become awfully mens rightsy lately. I have no idea what this article has to do with theory, or really any aspect of TRP. A female committed a crime, so what it happens everyday, in every country.
/r/TheRedPill10/12/13 07:46 PM

Well the rate of transmission for males is much lower due to anatomy. Sans condom, more of our fluids enter a woman than her fluids enter a male. I knew okcupid had done stats, I didn't realize they broached that subject though, I'll have to check it out.

Dude. Her comment was obviously made in the context of a stable relationship with someone she loved. LTR game is slightly different from ONS game. You have to balance caring with not caring. Her statement wasn't a "slut-defense", it was her rationalizing how what a man does that gives her tingles. On a side not, physical touch is key for building attraction. Letting her rest on you (not dumping her emotional issues or using you as suport, mind you) can do nothing but build attraction.

"negative" in what way? If a trait is shown to be desirable for reproduction, wouldn't that trait be positive? I really don't think you get the red pill if you think you have to be a class A douche to subscribe to the ideas. Just don't be a doormat. Be assertive, have your own opinions and beliefs and do what you want. If you don't agree with a certain aspect of TRP, don't apply it. Its just a theory after all, not fact. The main takeaway from TRP should be that women want someone who is a leade…

I'd be inclined to argue that morals are ingrained in no one genes. Morals are an unspoken social contract that enables us to develop as a human race. Nothing about male or female is inherently moral or immoral. People act in a way that maximizes their benefits, and of being "moral" is beneficial, they will do it. Genghis khan wasn't "moral", he acted in a way that maximized his benefits and reproductive capabilities.
/r/TheRedPill09/12/13 11:33 PM

I don't think its selfless love. Its our biology. We want to propagate our genes. The women is a vessel for our genes. So we sacrifice ourselves for our genes. Its a selfless act, but done for our own good. I don't think our love is anymore "selfless" than females. Plenty of evidence to the contrary.

True but that gives more credence to my previous statement. Gravity was proven through data collection. The same can't be done for evolutionary psych. Its rhetoric that could explain how/why we evolved as we did, but it can't be tested through current data collection. The ability to test a hypothesis is a what makes it scientific. So while I subscribe to the red pill ideology, trying to prove it as purely scientific viewpoint seems like much. Rational, yes. Scientific, not so much.
/r/TheRedPill08/12/13 08:42 PM

Being idealistic is not blue pill at all. Most great people of our time were idealists. Its all about having the right amount of realism and idealism. People who had large impacts on history and society understood how the world worked, but also had their own vision for how it could be changed.
/r/TheRedPill08/12/13 07:41 PM
3

Its a hypothesis not a "proven theory", which can't exist. It'd then be called a fact. Most evolutionary psych is hypothesis at best and can never be "proven" through experiment.

Meh article. Everyone is selfish when they feel they can get whatever they want, regardless of gender. Also, I prefer when theory isn't so intermingled with bias, it should be dealt with like any other scientific approach. Objectively. The bitterness in between the lines is not subtle.
/r/TheRedPill08/12/13 06:54 PM

I'd wager and say not many great things have been done because of jealousy. Competition, sure. But doing something because you want to be like someone else is not the right approach to achievement.

Male disposability is based on evolution. You only need 1 man to keep a community going, but with 1 female, its screwed. Why complain about it?
/r/TheRedPill06/12/13 09:36 AM

Of course everyone goes for what they see as high status. Why would someone ever want something that's considered undesirable. Guys don't want ugly chicks, girls don't want low status men. All women are definitely not the same, neither gender is. Everything exists as a spectrum or gradient. Its just pointless to say NAWALT when speaking about TRP theory because the theory is mean to capture the majority, not the outliers.

This seems more like "Anti-feminist" game review rather than red pill. Not necessarily a bad thing, but its definitely a substantial difference. Can a game or story line really be considered "red pill"? Sure the characters in them can, but can the whole thing be considered red pill? Also, the author is pretty much just complaining the whole time. Doesn't strike me as a red pill behavior at all.

One doesn't have to drink a ton and hook up with as many people as possible to "discover themselves". I think the old saying "can't make a ho into a housewife" rings true in most cases which is really what the article is getting at.

I like the general message but I think that half of it should be omitted. Your confidence should never be based on getting laid, what a terrible metric. Confidence comes from achievement, progress, and growth. Not from pussy.

Yes that's true, dont get me wrong, i get the theory behind the red pill. I agree with it 100%. But i see many individuals in this community turning trends into absolutes, which i see as dangerous logic. Men and women look for different things in their partners that much is true. But each individual displays these characteristics to different degrees right? Most men value women for their physical attractiveness. But some men put a much higher value on attractiveness while others would sacrifice …

Ahh I was using "good" as a synonym for "worthy". I see what you're saying, though I still assert that saying no worthy woman exists is a hard thing to back up. I've met a few women that I would deem "worthy" partners, but I see that "worthy" is a highly subjective term.

No good woman exists? That's a hell of a conclusion seeing that you've met less than 0.001% of the population. I will agree they are extremely rare though, especially in westernized countries.

I never said the generalization wasn't valid. But saying no good woman exists isn't true to any degree. Finding one is unlikely, but not impossible to find. This is where I see the bitterness. Too black and white.
