This makes me want to cry. My husband would start sighing and pull me about and be rough out of frustration I used to have to hold back tears DURING sex.

Yes, almost 20 years we were together. I lost my husband, friend, my person to porn addiction. I spent years trying to fix it but truth is it wasn’t my problem to fix it was his. I will never be the same person people don’t realise how bad it is, it’s like a form of abuse being constantly put down and rejected and replaced by porn. The sad thing is they end up limp d****** losers all alone, at least we can get out and move on.

I married my childhood sweetheart, we laughed every day, we were best friends, literally he was an amazing man and I honestly don’t think I’ll ever love anyone again as much as I loved him, I will probably love him till the day I die to be perfectly honest…. But then porn happened and although all the good parts of him never changed, he consistently chose porn over me. He would reject me and save himself for porn and so on. Years I put up with this and I finally decided I would rather be alone th…

This every damn day of the week. Single women are the future. Men are fun for dates but would I want one living in my home? Erm no.

I can relate to some of this, although I do date and will continue to do so I do not wish to enter a committed relationship even with a HVM. I am divorcing and have come to realise my life is better without a man in it. I go to the gym 5 times a week, I am improving my health, recovering from an ED and my work and social life are both thriving … my children are also thriving. I am for the first time in a long time very happy. I have had months to think about this and I’ve discovered the reason i…

I was a SAHM for 7 years and it meant I couldn’t leave my husband when I wanted to, I had to wait and that was bad for both of us. Never let go of that independence for anyone, and that includes children.

Men’s reproductive rights could all be solved if they took responsibility for their own damn contraception and full responsibility for any children they do create.

Love this. I am “block happy” as I call it. I once had an abusive man who attacked all my tweets continuously tell me by blocking him I would be creating an echo chamber. 👀 I mean yes .. an echo chamber of peace.

Hey, I too am in the middle of a breakup / divorce so I empathise with you, it’s hard even if it’s the right thing to do. I think you made the right choice but you haven’t wasted 3 years you have experienced 3 years and have took steps to ensure it wasn’t 4, good for you. The only tip I have which has made things easier for me is literally spoiling myself, having fun, spending time with good people and doing some things I know my husband would have never done. I have booked a solo trip for the f…

Yes! Men often wait until they meet someone else before leaving instead of just taking the time to be alone which lets be honest 99% of them need.

100% this. Currently at the beginning of a divorce and I wish I realised this years ago. No one is entitled to me or time, no one. Edit: and I also wish men would do the same, because if my husband was more honest we would have lived happy, separate lives a long time ago.

I am empathetic to peoples mental health problems, but I don’t actively want to be responsible for them. I’d wish him well and gtf out of there.

I feel you, I am happy to date but I will never again enter a committed relationship with a man. I like HVM’s company, but I don’t want them living in my house.

I have no issue with people playing video games. It’s when it becomes an addiction I’m like 👀

You know my stbx husband was like this and it is soul destroying. You can’t be human around these people, mistakes are something they can make but no one else. Never again will I let a man raise his voice to me. Good for her

I was speaking to a friend who is very vocally child free and it made me realise there is a difference between “child free” and “hates children”

It’s because they are all circumsized in the US. They are in the wrong don’t get me wrong but this is definitely a reason to why they have sexual problems

Since splitting from my husband of many years I have been birth control free and I swear I cannot believe how long I put up with that stuff. Never again

I was in a dead bedroom for a decade. I was the one who wanted sex and he didn’t. I tried everything to make him happy, I honestly lost myself. I then went to solo therapy and learned the problem wasn’t me it was him. He used it as a way to control me so I left him. If someone, male or female tells you you can’t seek intimacy anywhere else but they also wont provide it to you they are a low value person. People need to leave unhappy relationships, it is so worth the short heartache.

Hi 👋🏼 Also a newbie, I love FDS. I was married to a LVM who used sex as a weapon. I am now a single Mother, well partly - he is a good and active Father. My situation is a little different from most though, I have no intention of ever being in a committed relationship again. I would still like to date though now and then. For me, the thought of being independent and single is bliss and this sub has honestly saved me mentally! Good luck ❤️ Edit for typos
