Do you get a notification as if it's a new reply whenever I update it? Nope, I just revisit this thread when I need a re-read and I noticed your post got longer than I remember, so I hovered over the asterisk at the top where it says "5 months ago" and it said "edited 22 days ago". Cheers for linking your marketing compilation also, hope it helps if anyone is still stumbling upon this thread aha

Hey, I was 18 last year too. You should read How to Win Friends and Influence People and Mark Manson's Models, in that order. Re-read about half a year later. I'm not sure if it's the books per se, but I found myself being a lot more socially successful this year with people in general than the year before. I was at a party this November and I remember this girl coming up to me and saying "hey you're X aren't you? Everyone likes you". Being a very socially awkward person at heart because of my e…

To me, the point of this community is to gain a bit of confidence, attractiveness, and social awareness and learn from your own and other's mistakes and successes in order to lead a fulfilling life. Then you thank people for advice and move on. Kinda like a service station on a long, rural road trip.

Thank you for leaving a comment haha, and for linking more reading material. Looking forward to whatever social life related aspects you might write about in the future. In relation to your 'flirt or friend' link, the part about demonstrating attraction by action and not unloading feelings is something I didn't consider much per se, but it makes sense to me as that seems to be the core undertone in a lot of advice. Both correct. The one highlighted in yellow is the original version. He edited the book twice I think, to cut the waffling.

I think recently I figured out that they were wearing Cologne basically all the time Hmm, it depends. A while ago I bought myself this Dove shower gel and the next day I went to college and sat in class and the girl next to me, a friend, said I smelled really good. Maybe it's about having deodorant, body wash, hair gel, etc. that do not clash against each other.

In relation to the first paragraph - yeah that was my impression. Those are the girls that actually made a move with you at the start, like, after the first conversation and even if you refuse they'd be up for trying again in the future. If they didn't do anything, they are the girls that kinda yearned for you from a distance lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
