The BIL can put in a bid when it goes up for sale. Then the house will be in his name.

She was taken out of the inheritance for 5 years. The amount of time the court decided on. It was a gamble.

I have a friend who's last husband went after any inheritance that she was entitled to. Her family was loaded too.

My man, I just spent 5 1/2 months in the Philippines and its was so incredible that I'm going back for another 5 1/2 months next Nov. 90% of the expats/ passportbros are absolute characters and the almond shaped eyes, long silky black hair and tan skin on the girls will drive you wild.

I was working with an apprentice one day while I was going through a divorce. He said to me, you need lawyers, judges and money to break up, I just need to change my Netflix password. From the mouths of babes.

Take a long vacation to south east Asia and be treated like a man should be treated. These women here have old school values that American women seemed to have lost. You can Google it and get ready to do some reading.

An out of towner gets off the train with his fiddle in NYC and he asks the first person he sees " How do I get to Carnegie hall?" The New Yorker says " practice, practice, practice". An oldie but a goodie.

Not a marriage story but, a few years ago I saw a woman with a flat tire on the side of the road and it was a really wet day. I turned back around to change her tire as I always did back then. Then I saw her bumper sticker that said " I need a man like a fish needs a bicycle ". She looked shocked as I peeled out and left her to fix her own problems. My personal best for changing a tire back then was 11:00 minutes.

I just bought two cell phone charger cameras with the memory cards. The video and the sound is ok. It's called charge X by all trends. I'll be using mine for hotel rooms when I travel. It's real hard to tell it's a camera.

In my business I had access to oxy/acetylene torches. I took the ring and put it in a cast iron cap and heated it until it looked like a chunk of gold and then threw the chunk of gold in the river behind my apartment. It's probably still there to this day because I haven't heard of a gold rush in Minnesota lately.

I got divorced in 1993 and I've been having a hell of a time since then. Travel, dating, learning how to fly a plane, learning to play guitar, restoring my antique Harleys. In November I'll be in the Philippines for 6 months to get away from the cold in the north east US. I've already found a volunteer position at an animal shelter, found housing and now I'm looking for a scooter for transportation. I'm 60 years old, retired and I'm never getting married again. Having to much fun.

Ok, I don't disagree but now lawyers have triple downed on keeping their lights on. They have the heterosexual divorce, the gay men divorce and the gay women divorce , it's genius.

Has anyone else noticed that when heterosexual men stopped getting married that gay marriage was allowed in America? I'm thinking divorce lawyers still needed an income source.

My ex punk rock wife hated listening to John Cougar and one day we were kidding around and I put the cassette of John cougar on loud and held her down on the carpeted floor making her listen to it. We were laughing so hard Rolling around in the floor , it was a fun time. She brought it up at the divorce às if I was assaulting her brutally. I was in a no fault state and the judge didn't care about her story. Even when you're having fun it can be used against you later on.

I was working on an oil refinery in Minnesota so I had access to oxy/ acetylene torches. I took a 1 1/4" cast iron cap put the ring in it and heated the cap with the torch. When I was done it looked like a small nugget of gold. I took the nugget and thru it in a river by my apt. That was thirty years ago and I'm still waiting for some kids to find it and that could start the next gold rush.

People change as time goes on and if you're both not changing in the same direction then Divorce is going to happen because one or both of you is going to unhappy. My wife changed when she decided she wanted an open relationship but forgot to inform me. It hurts but you get over it. Keep reading this subreddit, everyday there are 5/10 new story's.

I got divorced in 93 and since then I've dated a bunch of girls, some good most bad but they all have one thing in common, they are no longer in my life. Even the relationships that start out great end up falling apart. So it's not worth it to me to settle down. I like to stay out of the comfort zone. It's alot more fun.

To get out of a marriage you experience cops, lawyers and judges and a huge loss of money for a couple of years. To break up with a girl you say " get out" and change your Netflix password and it's done.

It's all that they are qualified to do. They don't make the same money. They'll never learn the skills required to do the higher paying jobs. Let them flip signs for a living.

He had bad gas when I first adopted him 3 1/2 months ago but that was due to his diet. He gets blue buffalo dog food morning and night now with the occasional burger once every 2 weeks. He's a good boy.

Putting the kid aside, dating a teacher is a pain. You can only go on vacations certain times of the year, their pay sucks, you're always hearing about other people's kids and sad as it's to say, if one of their students passes away, it takes them months to get over it and you have to go to the wake for support.

It wasn't a problem getting into these countries. Panama I needed a covid test with 72 hours of getting on the flight. Costa rica didn't require one but I got one anyways. And to come back to the United States I needed a covid test. Panama is shut down on weekends right now which was a pain that's why I hoped a flight to costa rica. If you go verify that the whole country is open again before you leave.

Freedom to do what ever your heart desires. I'm a hiker and a traveler. 3 weeks ago I landed in Panama. I hiked some jungles and 1 volcano that was 11,000 ft up in the Borquete area. Then I moved on to costa rica where I hiked the high desert up by the nicaraguan border. I'm now at bike week in Daytona. I've adopted a dog and heading home in two days and then I'll decided where I want to go, how long I'll stay there and who comes with me, if anyone. By the way, I'm 57 years old and I love my lif…

Seems to be but I'm not out late at night walking around. A heads up, the cuban cigars sold on the street are fake. Don't bother with them. International Health insurance is required. Cost around $80 , a covid test is required to get back to the states.

My house is over 100 years old. Every door has a mortice lock that requires a skeleton key to open them I locked every door except for the 2 doors that her stuff was in. She never knew I had the skeleton key and was pissed when she couldn't get into the other rooms. Not my problem. I'm here to take care of myself. I saw this break up coming.

She's not a unicorn that's why it's in quotes but, she was a good girl for 4 1/2 years but 6 months ago every major decision ( buying a vacation home, type of new dog) that was being made, she couldn't care less about what I wanted. So I've moved on, it's simple. She did take the dog with her also, I'm going to miss that dog. We were a good team for a while but, she's been traded.
