oh my god how did i not notice that before!!! the kid will idealise the parent they're missing and not notice the parent who's actually raising them and society does that on a larger scale

don't make a move again and just see what he's like, it's possible that he's shy and was interested in you but was afraid you wouldn't be.

a first date is for you to get to know him and see if you like him, don't stress about anything else

you're right actually. initially from this post it kind of seems like even though he has no respect for women he kind of respects the transaction at least, but that could change at any moment. i have so much sympathy for escorts but any man who uses their services is trash

'is this necessarily a bad thing?' no. objectively it's very good that this guy is not interested in dating. hope it stays that way

the most important tip i think is that you shouldn't try to make him like you, try to find out if you even like him. make sure he has the qualities you're looking for, don't interrogate him of course, just guide the conversation. have fun!

i might be reading too much into it but it feels like she's not getting any love from her husband so she really needs to wear his clothes to feel any closeness to him. all the comments are like this: NTA! she's DISRESPECTING your BOUNDARIES and STEALING your PROPERTY!

this is so sad. the worst part is that she thinks it's not normal for her to be upset, 'i know i should be happy for them' nooo you shouldn't!

I only have one male friend who I genuinely believe is a good guy. Everyone else has at some point exposed themselves to just wanting to fuck me and embarrassing themselves so much that they haven't ever reached out again.

And you know that if sex was guaranteed at the end of the night he would be alright with spending money..

That's such a good mindset! I've found myself thinking that when friends tell me about their dates or boyfriends, need to implement it in my own life.

He said himself he doesn't want marriage or even a serious relationship. You can't change that. I'm sorry, move on.

I've been thinking about the same thing. I feel like you can put into use the FDS principles of putting your life first, working on yourself, not focusing on dating. However, a lot of FDS strategies in dating rely on the man chasing you, which does not apply to same sex relationships. You can both still be high value women of course, but the vetting process can't include you wanting her to initiate and pay for everything.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
