Lots of good advice here. You don’t have to be a raving beauty in order to do well with men. We’re a lot more forgiving than the ladies sometimes think we are. A few more tips. Meditate. (You’ll become more patient, and you’ll learn how to let things go.) Do yoga (it’s excellent for toning and for calmness, plus yoga chicks are very sexy). And work on charm. An amazing number of young American women look hot, are bright and dynamic, etc, but they have zero charm. Southern women and French women …

It’s not her fault you’re gaming her so badly. From some of your descriptions it sounds like she’s laying all kinds of bratty-young-girl shit on you. She might well be trying to get you to be more decisive and manly. So why not try doing a better job with her before breaking it off? Sylvester_Sterone’s tips in this thread are good ones. Laugh at her fondly, like she’s your younger sister. Announce decisively what you want to do instead of asking her about it. Don’t mistreat her, of course, but b…

No need for me to "get red-pilled." But I'm an old guy who did most of my growing up pre-feminism, so I never had to wake up from the "men and women are the same" lie. Also, I grew up with a popular older sister, so I was seeing first-hand and up close what girls are really like from the day I was born. When I look at Rollo or Heartiste or others, I'm often amused and entertained -- they're smart, funny, observant guys and writers, and god knows they have a knack for making their points vivid an…

What if whatever it is that gives you satisfaction or a sense of purpose isn’t also something that can plausibly be pursued as a career? Plus, 95% of people who have to work don’t have, and will never have, fulfilling careers. Instead they make do with jobs, jobs that are generally either fairly bearable or pretty lousy. The working life gets to be a slog for just about everybody, even people in glamor industries, and no one spends 24/7/365 feeling all-charged-up with energy and purpose.

Yes, most girls are really boring. Most people are boring, but it’s especially true with girls. And most girls who appear at first to be interesting turn out eventually to be nutcases. Pro-tip: don’t pursue girls hoping to find an interesting one. Pursuing a girl in the hope that she’ll prove to be interesting will almost certainly get you in bad trouble. Pursue girls (if you want to) in order to enjoy their charm and/or beauty. Which is tough these days because American girls have become amazin…

Get in shape. Get good at a few useful things -- and NOT videogames, stuff like math or cooking. Read some good books about how the world really works. Watch some good documentaries on the same topic. Start experimenting with girls and sex. Read Heartiste, especially his 16 Commandments of Poon. Before you know it, time will have passsed and you'll be away from the losers who are bugging you now. https://heartiste.wordpress.com/the-sixteen-commandments-of-poon/

Drink. Have fun. Don’t give a shit. And why not take some dance classes too? They can be a lot of fun, they can get you over a lot of self-consciousness, you can pick up a few good moves, they’re good exercise, and they’re great places to meet fun girls. Aside from the initial embarrassment of showing up in the first place, there are no downsides.

Lots of guys like lifting and get a lot out of it but it isn’t for everyone. Not all bodies respond happily, not all souls and spirits flourish. And there are tons of injuries. Guys blow out knees, shoulders and backs all the time. There are other ways to get fit, feel good and look good, and they’ll suit some guys a lot better than pushing iron around.

Learn how to cook a half a dozen good meals. Meditate for 15 minutes every damn day. Learn a self-defence form. Start reading some classic literature as well as some of the great American hard-boiled novels. Start saving 10% of whatever income you make, and never stop doing that. Otherwise you're doing great already ... plus you're hanging around theater chicks. Hot!

Hard to know from what you give us here. Might be you, might be her. Another possibility: maybe she has BPD. Her needing to be helped and rescued all the time sounds BPDy to me, as does the way she makes you feel insane and all wound up. Why not read up a bit on BPD and see if it describes her well? https://www.amazon.com/Stop-Walking-Eggshells-Borderline-Personality/dp/1572246901/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8 https://www.reddit.com/r/BPDlovedones/

Pursue or develop some in-person interests. NOT videogames, instead stuff like hiking, cooking, painting, photography, swing dancing, woodworking, etc. Take classes, join clubs, and enjoy the company of the people who share those interests. Not enough guys take improv acting classes. They're a great way to polish up social skills as well as a superb way to meet fun people, including (often) hot, frisky girls. Boys and young men today are raised and encouraged (by moms, therapists, TV and teachers) to share, vent and express every single solitary thing they feel or think. It's terrible advice, and as unmanning as jerking off all day long.

Just be cocky and fun. Project "Tall girls are cool and I enjoy them." No need to be explicit or self-conscious about it. Then focus, in a relaxed sort of way, on having a good time together. Tall girls can get quite a kick out of shorter guys who are confident, smart, spirited and funny. Source: Me, a 5'9" inch guy married to a six foot blonde.

Never did it myself but I know dancers and, 1) ballet is really tough, ballet dancers are fantastic athletes, and they hurt themselves and dance thru pain all the time; and 2) straight male ballet dancers get more pussy, and more high quality pussy, than all the guys in this thread combined. It's common for meditators to find they develop a little perspective on their mental and emotional processes, which in everyday terms tends to mean you're calmer, petty shit doesn't bother you as much as it normally does, and you can face what you really need to face with more clarity than usual. All big benefits, IMHO. Life still sucks and has its irritations, imperfections and challenges. But the "drama" level gets turned way down. It's fun to explore different schools and styles but one that …

You're very pretty, and in a sexy way. Your friend is nice looking. Lookswise she isn't quite in your class ... but she does look friendly and approachable, which I'd imagine works in her favor. It's weird, though, that you aren't being approached much. Are you sure you aren't inadvertently radiating "high maintenance "? In this case, don't worry about frame, and don't try too hard to be cool and masterly unless you don't mind being laughed at. Older, more successful people will inevitably have superior frame than you. Let the good times happen and just be the happy, charming kid. Enjoy the sex, learn about the world, let yourself be clumsy and naive, enjoy your time with her for what it is. At the end of it you'll be a lot more worldly and experienced than you are now, and you'll bring that with you into the re…

Put her in a position where she feels she needs to please you. Sex should follow. (Btw, you should always put your woman in a position where she feels she needs to please you. You'll both be happier that way.) If that doesn't work it's time to move on.

American manhood got deconstructed in the '60s and '70s, so look for pre '60s movies. Some stars to try out might be Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Gary Cooper, Humphrey Bogart and William Powell, all great at playing grown men. Try "The Thin Man," "The Maltese Falcon," "His Girl Friday," "Casablanca," "Red Dust" and "The Lives of a Bengal Lancer." And look for crime movies, war movies and Westerns.

Worst thing you can do at first is to overshoot and hurt yourself. So start very modestly. Walk 40-60 minutes a day. (Great opportunity to listen to audiobooks and podcasts.) Give up breakfast cereal, soda and fruit juices. Limit -- and maybe even eliminate -- bread, chips and potatoes. Eat lots of eggs and meat. Meditate for 10-20 minutes a day (it'll make you a more thoughtful eater as well as a more thoughtful, calmer person). Get back to us in a year.

Your first few encounters (and maybe your first dozen encounters) are likely to be messy, no matter how much Red Pill stuff you digest ahead of time. You may come too quickly. You may not get hard. You may blush, or experience overwhelming feelings of disgust or attachment or gratitude. Your emotions may even fly completely out of control. That's all OK -- and welcome to what first sex has been like for 99% of humanity through all of history. You'll survive and go on to do better.

I had luck with food classes -- bread-making, cooking generally. Also: yoga (but don't come on to the girls aggressively, just be friendly) and hiking clubs. If you've got it in you, dancing and acting classes are full of hot, uninhibited girls who like to fuck.

It probably is, yeah. But I'm old, so I'm hoping I get a pass on that. A way to combine Red Pill advice with my tip is this: don't be overeager. Overeager (and overforward) is Beta to the max. Be open but maintain some amused reserve. You aren't there (hiking, cooking, whatever) to meet girls or people generally, you're there because you're into the activity -- hiking, cooking, etc. You're interacting with people not because you're desperate but because it's by nature a social activity and you a…

I'll venture a strategy that worked well for me back in my single days, when I managed to have good times with a lot of fun girls. It's this: go where you'll be able to interact with girls easily and informally. It makes life, sex and romance a lot easier. Cultivate hobbies, pursuits and friendships that are rewarding and fun all on their own but that also put you in proximity to girls. Some examples: join the Sierra Club and go on hikes. Take partner-dance lessons. Study cooking at a cooking sc…

You're under no obligation to be great at one night stands. If you're more comfortable getting to know a girl some before going to bed with her, why not go about things that way? Screw feelings that you have to do things this way or should do things that way. Do what you want to do in your own way.

3/4 of guys should settle down and raise kids, IMHO. What else are they going to do with their lives? For the rest of us: Food, travel, art, curiosity. If you have any big drives (business, creativity, etc), go for it. If not, explore life, enjoy company, make some decent contributions, if only being a good friend. Then you die. Happens to everyone.

The only woman who's ever going to love you unconditionally is (if you're lucky) your mother. That does not mean you can't have rewarding relationships with women who aren't your mom, from red-hot sex to deep soul connections. It does mean that you're a grownup now and you're playing with the adults. Leave your fantasies of finding a second mom behind and enter the grownup world with gusto. It's a little chilly out here, and there are a lot of bitter lessons to be learned. But there's a lot of f…
