The best thing about book gives you a more rational approach to things. It's not like a hoohrah go get em! Which gets you pumped up for a few days before you fail again you know? A lot of what the book says makes sense and you can actually implement permanently

Apologies for the late reply. I believe that there needs to be a balance. Too many people tend to be either or. I think the only way to truly be in that balance is to understand what you value and can't value and then set your boundaries accordingly. When people act within your boundaries you give them all the love etc but when the boundary is broken.. then it's time to let them go. Assuming they did it twice or something. People do make mistakes.

Well there is a fine line with being happy with somebody and making somebody the source of your happiness. I am not saying become cold as a rock but what I am saying is learn to become emotionally independent. Meaning that though this person makes you happy they are not the ONLY thing in the world that make you happy.

Thats a tough one. I think the best thing would be is to try and just leave it be. Dont go out of your way to meet your ex nor go out of your way to avoid them. Just be indifferent and keep telling yourself it doesnt bother you. Sooner or later it wont or it will be time to move

Funny you say that because I am actually the same right now. I broke up with my gf of 3 years on Feb 17th and only the mutual friends know. Everyone else just assumes we are together and I just let them assume because I honestly dont wanna deal with their questions

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
