You can easily recoup the increase in mortgage payments by renting rooms.

Don't do it. Buy it yourself and rent the other rooms. You'll probably also pay less than co-owning it if you maximize the renting potential.

How did you figure out she's still doing it raw with others? I would break tbh if you both agreed on something and she silently broke the agreement. If she reneged on an agreement now, what she's going to renege on next?q

There are no joint accounts. Does it even matter? If assets are earned during marriage isn't she entitled to half of it anyway?

Probably goes without saying, but don't help her with the assignment.

Smoking is not common everywhere. It's a disgusting habit, shortens lives of smokers and everyone around them, causes premature aging and your home and car would reek of smoke. So many girls don't smoke, no reason to pick a smoker. Drugs as in active hard drug use, not occasional back in college. Do you really want to date a heroin junky?

What states are better? I'm also a dual citizen of another country. I'll research laws there and evaluate if I can become a resident there temporarily if laws are more favorable.

Can she agree that everyone keeps their own accounts or judges don't allow that? No kids or a house.

This is a throwaway account. I'll leave the post for posterity but will log out eventually.

If she's willing to make a deal can the judge rule against it because "I manipulated her"?

We both work but I earn 3x as much and my savings are 10x bigger. Wouldn't the court look at my work history and determine I'm able to get a high paying job and not allow this ruling to go through?

Get HIV test done now. If it's been more than 2 months or so since the incident and you get negative result, you're 99% in the clear. Regarding debt, go to personalfinance reddit, they'll help. You don't need grandiose plans of getting better. Just do small steps every day and it will pay off. Also, consider seeking help from a professional if things don't improve soon.

Don't tell her husband. You have nothing to gain and all to lose, including physical harm or death if the guy gets really pissed off. Why would you risk that?
