Thank you! After reflecting on this situation I think that was definitely the problem on my part, I wasn’t being completely honest about it because I was (unintentionally) scared of being vulnerable! I’m glad I took my problem to him.

Yes it does. I’m somewhere in between those two pictures but a lot of the women he sends me are more muscular. Thank you for your time and honesty, I feel more prepared to talk to him about this without making it emotional or being defensive.

That made me laugh a little😂 for the most part they are blonde (I am blonde)but not always and they are usually “fitness” models or pages. He might be trying to “motivate” me to improve at the gym and my physique.

His behavior is generally loving and affectionate towards me, this is one of the few things that he does that I am unhappy about. I truly don’t think he is trying to just be cruel but it is an immature behavior. He may be trying to communicate something he doesn’t want to say directly, like you said. He struggles with communicating sometimes and it is something we have been working on.

Thank you, most of the time I do not respond but sometimes he does get a reaction from me. I appreciate your advice, I agree that there needs to be some form of “consequence” and that is the part that I was struggling with. I have had trouble setting boundaries and accepting disrespect, especially when I was younger. I think going to a separate gym is a great idea and would definitely make a point to him. Thank you!

Sure, when I bring it up and ask him to stop, because it’s annoying and I feel disrespected, he replies that he’s just joking about it and finds it funny if I get jealous but he doesn’t stop. However he has done this (sending me pictures on Instagram everyday) for a while now, although he no longer adds comments to it. So I have been trying to just ignore it and not react to it. He is still doing it and today it just really made me angry.

Thank you for your comment. I agree it is not normal. I did not mean to paint him in a cruel or abusive light, he is very affectionate to me and like I said, we are very happy in our relationship. Even so his behavior with this is not ok. I am certainly tempted to send him male models but I don’t think that will really solve anything other than getting out my anger. Thank you for your reply, I think this should be made a priority for me starting now. I agree that the nagging doesn’t help and I do feel embarrassed that I did. Thanks for the reply! You're right, I am risking being totally burnt out. He does help when he has some time which I am very grateful for! These are all great ideas and it really might be worth spending a little extra money until December so that is something that i am going to have to look in to!

That's so funny because right after I posted this my roommate asked me to watch their dog while they run some errands and it instantly lifted my mood! I do like quality time with my man as well but sometimes if I'm already stressed I can be a bit snappy or over emotional which wouldn't be fair to him!
