It sounds like you're getting a little over-confident, which isn't a bad thing but I'd seriously watch out for coming off like a smart ass around drunk, aggressive people. That story in the burrito bar could have ended a lot worse.

talking to people who won't leave you alone and are creepy is how you get raped wat

Because the only girls that are into you are the hood rats you have no interest in? Because you have low self esteem and anyone who actually likes you, you immediately assume they must be as defective as you somehow? (By 'you' I mean 'me').

10 mins after you were supposed to actually meet? That's quite bad form. I'd probably not even answer personally.

Of course not! Seduction's been around long before the internet. The problem with this PUA shit is they think there's some kind of science to it, bleugh. You don't even have to be a guy!

So, you've never been seduced then, how unfortunate for you!

I think you're being a bit too logical about it. Anyone with an ounce of awareness knows that's why they're being declined. It's just a little mean to make it so obvious. Unless you really don't like them of course!

It's generally polite to decline people in a way that doesn't imply you simply don't like them. Despite that being nearly always the only reason to not date someone.

I think dumping someone without putting them down, even managing to give them a compliment, is a gentlemanly art. My sister got dumped by this guy this guy the other day, he gave the reason - "you're not traditional enough for me". I thought that was pretty good.

Hanging out with a girl dosen't mean you get to have sex. You gotta be funny too.

Sounds like the conversation was cut a little short considering how much you have in common. I think you could have made a bit more out of the games and music (the fun stuff as opposed to the school stuff). And I maybe wouldn't have implied meeting up so soon, just left it as a friendly chat, no obligations. But thats just me.

People with vices are generally less judgemental, they are aware of their own flaws.

Defo, it's important to have a few vices (or at least one).

I went out with a girl and she said she tried to watch 'Pan's Labyrinth' but turned it off when she realised it had subtitles. End of. And that goes for anyone else who dosen't read for pleasure. Dosen't have to be classics, I don't care if you just read chicklit. People that dont read for pleasure just don't consider their intellect an indulgence.

Are they saying this to you when out or prior to arranging, could have different meanings?

And whilst we're on it I think there's a pretty good argument to say, without reciprocation, that ain't love.

'with yourself' was perhaps a little harsh. You certainly have a fundamental problem though!

I think this whole friend zone shit is starting to sound dangerously close to 'if a girl wont have sex with me I have no use for her'. Of course if you're getting emotionally obsessed with some one who isn't giving it back you've got fundamental problems with yourself, friends or not.

The whole concept of 'friend zone' only exists in the context of oneitis. I have probably fancied most my female friends at some point or another. If I dont get off with them they become friends - great. Having friends who are cute girls is great too. And you meet their friends, see where this is going? In fact, fancying someone who is your friend, is just weird, practically incest, jeez.

You're probably right.

Sort of related... There have been a few occasions in my life when my mind has wondered into the gutter, possibly due to some girl walking past, and total strangers look at me and smile. One even said "I wish I knew what you were thinking just then". To this day I have no idea how my face utterly gives me away.

So by "shit test" you maen a perfectly reasonable wuestion about your dating habits. And your recommended response is to avoid answering with a witty remark?

Doh! Ever say stuff then wish you'd thought a bit first!? I see what you mean now. On that note then; surely you yourself only have the one sense of humour so you're only going to appeal to a certain kind of person anyway (thats what i find with okc anyway)?
