Was she presenting that Tonytown was the literal name of the town or was that just what she said to remain anonymous? I am asking because I am unsure! Regardless, people are so gullible and willing to believe so much without thinking twice and that’s just kinda sad!

This is such a good explanation of what I have experienced. Thank you for putting it into words!!

also.. i think flared jeans would look GREAT on you at 5’10. my favorite pair are these: https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/women/jeans/bootcut/726-high-rise-flare-womens-jeans/p/A34100011 i have the dark wash, but definitely wish i had this pair for the cooler summer nights. they’re very comfortable and offer a 34 inch length!!! also, i’d say they fit true to size. for reference, im 5’7 & wear 6/8 size jeans. i get a 29 long in these levi’s!

when i worked there, you could get the “long” style in some rompers/skirts/dresses, and the “extra long” and “long” in jeans !!

I was getting ready to suggest American Eagle! They carry “longs” and “extra longs” :)

sucks so bad that our criminal justice system allows men like you, completely innocent, to still have to plea to a charge because of some fucked up shit a woman accused you of. thank god for expungement laws!!!

This is exactly my experience, I’ll have to check her out! I think previously having a non-trad mindset really opens one up to really embracing and understanding RPW, as you have experienced the other side. It’s really been an interesting phenomenon and for me personally, the change has really led me to understanding femininity at a deep level. :) Thanks for sharing!

I am so confused as to why your and my posts (below) are getting downvoted for just stating the actual law? Lol. Pretty disappointing to see such a bias in this subreddit.

no actually, duress would be something like presenting to her the prenup before she walks down the aisle and saying “if you don’t sign i won’t marry,” not giving her a time to consult with an attorney, etc. don’t throw legal terms out there when you don’t know what you’re talking about lol—getting “emotional” and concerned about your future as OP states his fiancé is doing does not equate to legal duress as a way to void a prenuptial agreement.

I love this so much! And am genuinely so happy that you got a luxurious new car. How exciting. :) Thank you for the reminder to STFU every once in a while.

Can you elaborate on what a “superficial understanding only of femininity” would entail, compared to the true understanding of what it’s like to be a RPW?

Wow. Thank you. And your husband. :) I think you hit the nail on the head. Talking to him over the last 24 hours, he’s told me it could be jealousy. He’s also told me that it’s all very biological for him, like an instinct thing. He says that he waited ten months to tell me because he knew it would hurt me. That as his feelings grew stronger for me (starting out hooking up —> falling in love), it got harder for him to deal with. I believe commenters characterizing him as malicious are dead wrong…

Just to let you know— I’ve thought a lot about your edit. In the moment, I wasn’t intending to mislead people. But later now, reflecting on everything and seeing how you all viewed my mistake and especially how you worded it, I own up to it. Maybe I do have a tendency to downplay things and then be more honest about them later. I will work on that, thank you for your comment.

I truly didn’t mean to come across that way on here and hate that it did. I have always been very open and honest with him, from the beginning, with the exact number and have never lied to him when asked specifically about a guy. I think there’s a big difference in at first being weary to tell a group of strangers.. which I was.

Comparatively, 30 is only 10 more than 20. That’s much closer to 20 than say, idk, 50. Or 100. That was the thought process there. In the retrospect of all numbers, 30 is pretty close to 20. But ok, thanks.

Wow thank you. I think my boyfriend is 100% going through this.. retroactive jealously. He’s very protective over me, asks that I tell him if any of my old hookups contact me. And I think it’s why he can’t really explain himself. Because it’s simply jealousy.

:( I agree. I think he’d be okay if it was 10 or so. But it’s not. I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I drank a lot in undergrad and didn’t have a lot of self-worth.. which led to me going home with guys when I felt like it. I’ve explained to him this, and he seemed to understand. But I guess he didn’t and was secretly judging me or something. Idk.

Oh, I see. He sought me out. We had been friends for a long while and ended up hooking up.

Haha, funny enough I have never asked. I have never asked his body count, so I am really unsure.

I only sleep with him and and if another man even attempts to contact me (past boyfriends/hookups) I tell him about it immediately. There is literally zero risk of me cheating. I give him my phone all the time and would let him search it, if he felt he needed to, in a heartbeat. What derivative traits do you believe I could have shown him over 10 months, that he was not aware of day 1, when I have done nothing but grown as a woman and partner for both him and myself? I have worked so damn hard t…

We have sex. And on that note, it is the best sex both of us have ever had. So that makes it even more complex. I get it if it's like, "Okay, she's fucked X number of dudes, I must be inferior..." But he knows he is the hands-down best I have ever had. We have this crazy passion and connection.

I was too much of a pushover to say no a lot of the times, as well. I placed a lot of value on sex and saw it as a way to get what I wanted. I am so much better now and even if we break up, I never want to go back to my old lifestyle.

Thank you, I appreciate your advice. He’s always known about it though. From the very beginning. I’ve been nothing but honest with him and 10 months later, out of left field he tells me he has such a big problem with it that he doesn’t know if he can see a future with me due to how it will affect our relationship. I knew he probably didn’t like it, and I respected that. But he had never even verbally disproved of it before now.

He asked and I was honest with him. He places a lot value on it and says “it’s something a lot of men would struggle with.”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
