Does anyone think that this will impact or lessen the trad-wife lifestyle?

I would hope it gets them off the internet, where they're apparently comparing themselves to obviously fake caricatures. As for why the woman did it, she clearly has little going on in her life and has created a fantasy where she can feel influential. I hope normal women see this and stop trusting everything the read online. This ruse was so very apparent. Nothing about it was even remotely believable.

Tradwives are a trend right now. It's social media consumption. People are living a fantasy life like they're playing the sims. Some are making money out of it. They aren't showing you their real life.

Many communities have grifters and liars. I wouldn’t take it too personally, and I would focus on finding real positive role models where you can verify their stories. 💕

I followed her. Some of her takes were good, but many of them were just her pretending to be better than others. One of the worst things she did was to tell women struggling with infertility/miscarriages that she would help them adopt by asking her priest friend (who, it turns out, didn’t know her) to assist with resources. She got several people’s hopes up in that way.

While all of this was disappointing, I do think it’s a good thing she was exposed, because I know several women felt the pressure to be these perfect little obedient wives to wildly successful men and breed dozens of children and have a perfect house etc. “Hannah” was a representation of a life that rarely ever exists. The “tradwife” trend has spiraled into a toxic mess, much like the red pill ideology often did. I think this is a good lesson on taking things we see on the internet with a grain of salt.

Don't know her, but I think the most likely motivator for this was not a quest for RPW, but most likely dollar bills were.

I've never heard of her, but the thought of living in a town supposedly bought and named after a husband sounds too close to "Stepford Wives" territory and very questionable on its face. It's absurd actually. Even if a person manages to own a small, unincorporated town, it would still come up on an internet search because it's public records. I do believe this is just another prime and disturbing example of how far some people will go for attention seeking. Like Amanda Reily who faked cancer or people with Munchausen. Same idea, just presenting a "perfect life" rather than preying on peoples' sympathy. The only thing it speaks to is the fact that she had serious issues and too much time on her hands. It also speaks to the lack of critical thinking in society as the Tony Town narrative alone should have brought this whole thing crumbling down because anyone can look it up. She also posted some pics of her alleged house, but you can google search any image that's posted and trace where it's originally from. I saw that someone did eventually do that.

I looked up some things about her and saw that she also used to be on Reddit. In old posts, she went back and forth with other commenters as she tried to justify why it's acceptable for her black adopted children to use the N-word since it's part of their culture. Definitely not someone I would take parental advice from as it plays into a racist stereotype. "Tony" was allegedly a reformed felon, but it is nearly impossible for convicted felons to adopt one child in the state (it varies), much less 14 of them. I admit, it's an interesting story and now I'm curious to find out more lol.

She blocked me on X, after i said "Husbands and wives shouldn't turn each other down for sex unless one of them is physically injured or sick". I've seen many fake " Tradcon" women online. many are just grifting and riding that "wave" to make content. its basically "porn" for " tradcon Men.

If you really a trad wife with a bunch of kids you do not have time to be an influencer and people who get hooked on following influencers need to get a more fulfilling hobby.

To answer the end of your post and its question: yes, I think so. It’s where I have found the most fulfillment as a woman and it’s where every genuinely happy straight woman I know is by far the most fulfilled(and as a mother).

I mean when you think about it- we are different and wired different from men otherwise we’d be a single sex species that procreates asexually. We are meant to complete one another clearly. And it does seem as though we are wired to having different strengths and weaknesses. And we bring what we do to that and those things are of just as much importance no question.

Any famous traditional female is not traditional. It’s like saying I’m Christian and pro choice.

Full text: Did anyone follow "Patriarchy Hannah" on X?

For background, Hannah was the quintessential "trad-wife", religious, and someone conservative/trad wife spaces on X used commonly as an example for what a wife should be. Her account was anonymous. I did not follow her personally.... but she claimed to be a mother of 14 adopted children and was married to Tony. Her and Tony lived in "Tonytown", a town Tony bought, and she homeschooled their children... I constantly saw her content. She had a 25k+ following and was very influential in her spaces, giving marriage and motherly advice often. Promoting submission to their husbands and such and often judging those who did not. She charged people for membership fees and accepted gifts from people after she adopted new children. People eventually started to question her authenticity though, noticing she would never show her face or Facetime with those she gave her number to.

This morning I learned that there was an exposé which revealed Hannah is not really Hannah at all... Her name is Jessica, she is 37, she has no kids and is not married. She lives at home with her parents and on Brett Cooper's podcast, Brett's guest commented that she used to or is still involved in the porn industry.

I am simply perplexed, intrigued and disturbed over the whole situation. Does anyone think that this will impact or lessen the trad-wife lifestyle? I think it sparks a conversation surrounding and concerning why people were so drawn to Hannah... when often, her life seemed too good to be true, in a way. Do RPW have opinions on why someone would live one way in real life... but create this ideal perfect traditional and submissive woman online? Does that speak to the true internal feminine need for a man we respect and submit to, considering she obviously found peace in pretending to be a woman that did so?

I don't believe anything anyone posts about their life online. When I was ~11-12 I used to make up all kinds of fake personas on the internet. I don't know why I did it but one that stuck out was that I was a 32 year old male whale trainer named Steve and tons of people believed me. A friend on a dating site claimed that every year she grew seasonal antlers like a deer and shed them. Men didn't question it and were still DTF. Never compare yourself to someone you see online, it's so possible for their claims to be complete fiction.
